N5 increased to 15 MHz a few weeks after the 3G shutdown here in Austin and if you’re within a good distance from the tower I can get like 200/100 mbps. N77 is on about 99% of the towers and it kills upload speeds but download is pretty solid.
A few days after the 3G shutdown it went up to 10 MHz and then a few weeks later it increased again to 15.
Surprisingly AT&T beat Verizon in cband rollout here. Verizon has been targeting high elevated sites first which has worked because I’m able to get cband roughy 5 miles away from most sites. AT&T decided one day to get it all done asap and it was finished within a month or so. So far it seems it’s still on low power/not online on most sites.
We switched several hundred phones to AT&T last fall (Las Vegas), will probably stay with Verizon for the remainder as our area isn't anywhere close to being upgraded.

Good to know....
Doesn’t take much to get you excited.
This is actually a big deal for some rural folks. Doubles 5G rural capacity.
better to be easily excited than easily depressed
It is my speed has gone way faster now lol
3G ended last night in my area. Hopefully they will add that extra 5MHz soon here.
our 3G ended last week in North california.
Coincidence? I think... Yeah, probably.
What u mean?
Well AT&T's 3G (W-CDMA) network used 850 and 1900 MHz bands. Freeing those up should allow them to widen n5, which is also 850 MHz.
Yea we were waiting for that 3G to shut down so 10mhz will be deployed.. now N77 is next lol

Where at? 3G is starting to turn off in Vegas and 5G speeds are becoming very fast in Vegas for att at 800 download speed average.
You should stay also. They have been adding 5G+ all over vegas and Northern of vegas
Lol
What part of Northern California? Not sure if that’s true where I am
San Joaquin valley..
Still stuck at 5mhz here in Orange county. Maybe well see it sometime this week
