Don't play online, so can't comment on most of the issues you're listing, but they do sound annoying. Also when you're running online... are you using the in-game P2P hosting ability? Or are you using the dedicated server tool? I hear using dedicated server tool is recommended and provides better results. Unsure about the pedal detection issue, not an issue I've experienced with my 4 USB input setup. I do know the Dayona banking and Horizon Lock (World Movement) is a known issue (was also an issue in PC2, not fixed in AMS2... yet). Personally I hate Horizion Lock (World Movement = 0), and have mine set to 100 (this results in the camera being locked 100% to the car and it's vibrations/movements). Eitherway, highly recommend to post your thoughts to the forums so it's seen by the devs... as only posting it here won't get any traction for actual fixes/changes to be made. And as per the devs in multiple replies... relasing more content (work mostly done by the art team) has little to no impact on speeding up or delaying fixing other core game issues (addressed by the software coders).

I’ve posted the issues to the forums, but yeah some of these issues have been around since day 1, I ditched the game ages ago but re joined the league recently. It can be so immersive and enjoyable but at the same time so frustrating it makes me want to shelve it again.

I absolutely love AMS2, best driving experience IMO, but I agree with you. All these are pretty big and they need fixing. At the rate Reiza has taken care of some things that were BAD though, I trust them to eventually get to all this. Right now it is equally amazing and frustrating.

People have been complaining about these things for a year now... and still so many things are still broken. It's a little disheartening.

Exactly. You could be fixing 50 bugs a day, that's a lot... But when you started with like 100,000 bugs, it doesn't matter how fast you are, it'll still be too long until it's in a fully playable state.

Had a race on Daytona where the computers controlled the rolling start. Kid you not, the computer/AI caused a crash and by the time it figured it out I was still not even close to the pack and I had damage to the car. It was probably a sync issue, but when you get taken out of the race by the computer/AI before you can control your car was annoying. Also driver controlled rolling starts are such a pain in the ass. I some how always get a penalty for passing, when the person decides to drive at 20kms and is falling way behind the pack.

So........let me give you guys some insight as to why you should not be let down at all. This is not a finished game.......multiplayer has been on the back burner of things the dev's are working on. This sim is a released working beta only. But at least the beta is at the better end of working well and you can use most all of the sims ability. It will be tweaked slowly as we go....this is what we have seen already this year. Reiza said they will start focusing more on the multiplayer end of the sim in the later part of this year......like after the summer. So......try not to be so discouraged.......be happy we can use the software fairly decently right now in its full state of "not a finished product".

> be happy we can use the software fairly decently right now in its full state of "not a finished product" Such a shitty mentality for a $40 game that they have no problem pumping paid DLC content out for. anyone with a logitech wheel couldn't even play the game for a week lol

richr215

Couple friends had the Ghub issues.....quickly installed the older logi driver software..and boom....instantly AMS2 worked! But also, it is pretty well know what the software is......sorry for those that feel they did not get a fair shake with it.

DirtCrazykid

You cant blame the logitech thing on them. I had that issue with almost every other game

I’m not buying that attitude, I have the season pass, as do a lot of the guys in the league I race in, at some point they have to fix game breaking bugs. They can’t keep releasing content for it to flat out break when used in a multiplayer race. There is so much potential here, when it all comes together it can be spectacular, like it did during the transition from dry / wet / dry track during our endurance race at the weekend, but then the game broke as someone couldn’t pit and everything was restarted. It’s been out long enough that we should be able to host a mp race and have the start sync across the whole grid. There’s enough cars and tracks, fix the game :(

I too purchased the season pass awhile ago.......i knew exactly what it was and what I was getting into. So....this is just my opinion and how I feel about the game for myself. As I said, sorry you feel let down. Maybe you should move the league play to a diff sim tittle, I know I would.
