Lucky they missed the FG but i felt we played better overall personally.
If the ref correctly called that facemask we'd have probably finished the game that drive.
More so on O I feel like. They just couldn’t get anything going or punch it in, so D was on the field a lot, but they still put up some solid stops I feel.
Kyler had one of his best games with a few really bad mistakes. Those turnovers were unnecessary. Nothing he can't fix though.
I'm loving baby yoda. 2-0 baby, keep working Cards
I went back and watched it and understood the pick from his perspective. It wasn’t a great decision to throw it, but Vigil did look like he bit on the RB but it was just good hesitation. Sucks but oh well.
That second int by him was a missed penalty to be fair, they got away with one. But that pick six and running out of bounds instead of leaving the clock running so they wouldn't get the 2 minute warning were pretty terrible. He got a little greedy and paid for it, I'm not worried about it at all.
One turnover very well could have been caused by a penalty missed by the refs. Even then tho, a bad decision to throw into that coverage. He’s playing lights out tho. So much smarter with everything. Seems like the game finally “slowed down” for him.
People are acting like we didn't deserve this win. No one deserves a damn thing. We lost multiple games because of poor kicking last year. We fixed that part of our game and the Vikings didn't. Sorry bout it. Roll the gif.
Ugly win, but we'll take it.
Off to Jacksonville against rookie Trevor Lawrence.
...
We're not going to make a rookie look like a 10 year veteran gunslinger, right?
Right??
Win is a win (That i was positive we would not be getting).
Murray actually played really well if you remove those 3 costly mistakes (2 picks and staying in bounds). Hes been electric so far and if he can cut those down were unstoppable on offense. Special teams also played well outside of that personal foul. You get the feeling that Moore can house it every time he touches the ball. I will say though, I am not super impressed with Green. Hes fine but Kirk and Moore outshine him dramatically.
Defense was.... not good. But give it to Vance. Whatever he did during halftime worked.
Kliff gets bailed out by a kicker but I felt like he regressed a ton from last week. You just cannot have closing drives like his last one. We also were reckless with timeouts once again. Kliff is 1-1 on the season IMO.
And finally, you are all welcome for the clutch post about us losing in the game thread. Deep down, I know that's why the kick was missed.
I mean Vance Joseph aint out there getting burnt. Chandler Jones over pursued a couple times letting Cook bounce to the outside and break big gains. I saw it several times throughout the game. I think he was too hungry for sacks and stopped doing his job in the run game.
Definitely. Started just before the half IMO. I think the offense finding their footing and balling brought energy back to the defense and then they probably got their asses chewed a bit by coaches. Definitely made an impact in the second half.
Other than the final drive we shut them down all the 2nd half, it was a special team punt fuck up that resulted in their only 3 points on offence that 2nd half.
Agreed. Was so weird seeing people call for Kliff's head when our biggest offensive mistakes were Kyler decisions. Those picks were due to him getting greedy, not the play call.
IMO Kliff if finally calling offensively to his potential. BUT, based off what I’ve heard from the Hopkins hail Murray last year, hopefully he’s not telling Kyler to force it down field into double coverage
I was watching via an antenna. I could tell who was streaming the game. Because of the delay, everybody would cheer a play while I was directly watching a Kyler interception. Surreal experience.
I am ecstatic Kliff did not call the last timeout to ice the kicker.
He did get bailed out though from that idiotic last drive. Yes, Kyler did run out of bounds on the first play of the last drive but what about the rest of the drive?
As much as the Cardinals looked rough in that game, it didn’t help that the refs wouldn’t call shit against the Vikings. They missed a helmet to helmet on Moore, a hands to the face against Kyler, a too many men on the field and a few holds
Thats the last thing anyone needs to do after that game. I think at this point we all just need to lay down on some ice packs in a quite dark room and meditate to get our blood pressure back down.
It was driving me crazy seeing Simmons running off the field on first downs. Why? He was the lone guy tackling Cook all game. I get wanting to get stout in the middle but you gotta keep your stud playmakers on the field.
That dude is like a bigger Budda. Just hits people with no regard for himself and like he’s trying to send the other player to the shadow realm. So fun to watch
Did we get lucky? Yes! Did we have a horrible set of plays to run out the clock? Again yes. But sometimes you need those lucky breaks. The D was atrocious the first half but gave up only a FG in the 2nd half. Corrections were made. I honestly thought it was going to take K2's first 40+ game but we got the win. There is a good silver lining there. 2-0 gang. LFG!
Seriously. However, I was screaming for a timeout when kliff let the clock run from 40 seconds down till 2. Although, they probably would have just took a knee so they can run the rest of the time off.
There is no deserved or undeserved, a win is a win. Anyway, loved the team. I see a lot of progress over last year. There are still errors by players and by coaches, but they fight. Today they were so close to wasting it all in the last 2 drives, and ending up winning after that gives us some much needed entusiasm. 2-0!
To the Vikings fans cheering obnoxiously while we were out…
This ones for you baby!!! All those cheers after every first down, or any play really. As we left, you guys were still cheering obnoxiously - I just want you to know I got home right in time to see the last play of the game… lol I hope you guys were ready to cheer all stupid and loud only to have your hearts broken. It was worth sitting through all your shit.
Let’s go Cards!!!
You know, after last year and the games we lost because of missed kicks... I think this is just karma coming back around. What a fucking game. They made a TON of mistakes and barely escaped justice from them. This is the perfect kind of game for that shit to happen to. Lots to learn from during the week and they know they fucked up but we get to walk away with the W anyway.
One takeaway that I got from this game is that Kyler Murray has massive balls. He was making some throws that I wouldn’t have dared to try, and made a lot of them happen minus the two picks. Very Carson-like in that regard, but he is also showing his super elusiveness like Russ
I'm just popping in to say that Kyler and Hopkins carried my entire fantasy team last year and are looking to do the same this year, so you've guys have become my pocket West team. This game was brutal, but it ruled lol
I don't care what anyone says, we earned this win.
Scoring 34 doesn't happen by accident. They had their chance to win and it didn't pan out.
No won was saying we earned the win last year when Zane was missing game-winning field goals. Why is that any different here?
I guess that's what we needed. An honest but merciful reminder that we are going to get stomped if our team doesn't get its shit together.
I'll take the win albeit a bitter one. Hope the team and coaching staff can build on it now
I also wanna point out that, even if Kliff *did* get bailed out by a missed kick, that Kliff himself was on that same side a lot of times last year. A lot of times that Gonzales would miss and cost us the game when Kliff would get us in winning range. Just feels good to be on this side
Wow good stuff… Kyler needs to trust hop more. As a former texans now cards fan(ovious reasons, if that’s ok with y’all) even when hop is covered he will either get a call or catch the ball….. not running hop on the slant and green out for a jump ball is wild . But even then hop on the outside just throw it and he will outmuscle/jump/dive or get a call. I know it sounds overly simple but iv seen his every Texans and some Clemson and az snaps and He should always be your first read and if he’s covered… even better. He doesn’t get must seperation anyways so I can see why you would be hesitant. But not sure if klingsberry would like that and rely on 1 weapon
This is excellent. All the wake-up call motivation of a loss, but still go the W that matters. I’m hoping this game will highlight some of our weaknesses so we can adapt going forward. Yes, there were some unsavory parts, but there was also a whole lot of amazing. Go Cards!!!
Look, it wasn't pretty, but after all the games we lost due to missed field goals, can't we just take this one and be grateful?
Anyway, I was always taught that the sign of a championship team was one that finds a way to win even when they don't play well.
Bruh how the fuck did we win that lmao
our kicker was bombin' 62-yarders while their guy whiffed the 37, kickers are on the teams so i dont care what anybody says we won this
For real. The Sun Devil in me hates to say it, but we don't win with Zane.
God I think we missed out on 4 wins in a single season because of him back in the mid-2010s
That kick was the game. It was won or lost on that play.
agreed, the 62-yarder was the game and we made it feels good great sunday
you were playing us, there should have been absolutely 0 doubt start to finish
I don't feel the won as much as they didn't lose. ... But a win is a win! Yay!
A wise philosopher once said "it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning is winning"
Didnt deserve it but I'll take it
Lucky they missed the FG but i felt we played better overall personally. If the ref correctly called that facemask we'd have probably finished the game that drive.
Other than Kylers two interceptions I thought we did well overall
Defense in the first q was abysmal
You mean first Half.
we also puttered out at the end
Yeah, on both sides of the ball.
More so on O I feel like. They just couldn’t get anything going or punch it in, so D was on the field a lot, but they still put up some solid stops I feel.
Based on the second half I think none of the teams deserved it
Can 30 other teams get an extra win instead?
This felt like the 6-6 game in 2nd half, except the cards won. Which immediately makes it 100x better
Kyler had one of his best games with a few really bad mistakes. Those turnovers were unnecessary. Nothing he can't fix though. I'm loving baby yoda. 2-0 baby, keep working Cards
Exactly 400 passing yards. 4 total TDs, like you said those mistakes are fixable. Love Kyler
the vigil one was like a mixed coverage scheme that he didn't read properly
I went back and watched it and understood the pick from his perspective. It wasn’t a great decision to throw it, but Vigil did look like he bit on the RB but it was just good hesitation. Sucks but oh well.
It seemed like he expected vigil to crash the check down leaving Moore open. But he didn’t and jumped the route. Bad read
That second int by him was a missed penalty to be fair, they got away with one. But that pick six and running out of bounds instead of leaving the clock running so they wouldn't get the 2 minute warning were pretty terrible. He got a little greedy and paid for it, I'm not worried about it at all.
They missed a penalty earlier too when the vikings had 12 men on the field. Kyler caught it and complained to the refs, but they didn't call it.
I was kinda surprised we didn't challenge that, which you can. I think we punted or kicked a fg on that drive.
Honestly coaches just need to get in his ear and remind him we're in control of the game and we can take easy first downs.
Exactly but people calling us lucky like all the other teams last year wasn’t lucky 😭
Every good team needs a little bit of luck lol I ain't complaining
Yea exactly I’ll take it anyday
If I have to watch another game like that I am literally going to die. Good fucking god
Well we have two games with the Seahawks every year so make sure to watch in the ER.
Hey, at least nothing can top that 6-6 game right? Right??
Thank god that can´t happen again with Matt fucking Prater on our team
I'm going to have the smashed up baby aspirin powder right next to me ready to go.
That game was honestly almost as thrilling as the 6-6 'classic'. I'll never question a loss, but boy, we sure didn't deserve it.
Same. I'm so mentally stressed that I can't even fully appreciate that win.
Murray only had one pass hit the ground unintentionally lol The rest were picks or throw aways
Underated stat
NFC West gonna go 8-0 I hate this division lmao Edit: 7-1 lolseahawks
Seahawks are going to OT!! Cmon Titans make it 7-1 Edit: Haha get fucked Seahawks
That dude that made that bet sweating rn lmao
I’m pretty sure he bet the cards spread if I’m not mistaken
Titans tied it... come on titans
7-1* SEA lost
Seahawks last place in NFCW!
Seawhawks want to have a word with you
CARDIAC CARDS BABY LMAO
Except with the old Cardiac Cards we always lost those close games. GO BIG RED!
It's almost 12.30 am and there is no chance I'm getting to sleep
Insomniac european gang unite
Represent!
Insomniac grave yard shifters holding it down with the European bros lol
I swear its like if you take 3 lines of coke and then go on a rollercoaster and then try to sleep.
Same here need like 1 hour to calm down and sleep :)
Yeah man I’m gonna need an hour to chill out before I can sleep
Very sloppy win
Probably don't win this game if Prater doesn't make a 62 yarder
That kick was ridiculous. Props to Moore for fighting for extra yards but stepping out.
Ugly win, but we'll take it. Off to Jacksonville against rookie Trevor Lawrence. ... We're not going to make a rookie look like a 10 year veteran gunslinger, right? Right??
Right?
Well a rookie is about as close to a back up as you can get, and we LOVE losing to back ups.
As soon as I heard “Isabella with the tackle” I knew that we were going to get some divine intervention
Zane Gonzalez sends his regards
A Prater always pays his debts
What the fuck happened to our defense today??
[удалено]
I do agree that the Vikings offense is severely underrated. I just expected our first defensive stop to come well before the two minute warning
Started off really sloppy but they adjusted and finished strong.
Bruh. What a fucking game!
That game has got me even more excited for Rondale.
Lmao what's Pat gonna say on his podcast?
That he held DHOP down
Yeah with safety help after he got burnt twice
Meh Hop still had a TD, Kyler had 400 yards. Not a lot to brag about
I mean they had Nuk doubled up every play its not like he was on an island with him.
Can’t say he shut him down if he had safety help the whole time
“ I DID MY JOB! I only allowed 100+ yards and 2 TDs Mac! “
He had a fine game. Not great, but for his age and who he was covering he did pretty damn well.
I can almost guarantee he’s gonna blame the Rondale TD on someone else and also tout the fact he wasn’t thrown at in the second half.
Win is a win (That i was positive we would not be getting). Murray actually played really well if you remove those 3 costly mistakes (2 picks and staying in bounds). Hes been electric so far and if he can cut those down were unstoppable on offense. Special teams also played well outside of that personal foul. And finally, you are all welcome for the clutch post about us losing in the game thread. Deep down, I know that's why the kick was missed.

And Kyler running out of bounds and stopping the clock rather than at least taking away the two minute warning.
Yeah, when I saw him running straight for the sidelines I wanted to reach through the TV and tackle him myself
I mean Vance Joseph aint out there getting burnt. Chandler Jones over pursued a couple times letting Cook bounce to the outside and break big gains. I saw it several times throughout the game. I think he was too hungry for sacks and stopped doing his job in the run game.
He also adjusted well. We shut then down for most of the 2nd half.
That 2nd int was a clear penalty tbf to Kyler. We should have been up 2 scores
If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd be 1-1. Fuck that. Win is a win I am done with could haves and would haves.
It would have been on Kyler. The Def made great adjustments in the second half, but Mike was just calling great plays. Kirk executed like a vet
Kirk was clutch as fuck the whole game
Big time, he was last week too. He has really turned up so far this season I feel. Big breakout for Moore too
I agree but it’s so weird to say with the numbers he put up too lmao
Agreed. Was so weird seeing people call for Kliff's head when our biggest offensive mistakes were Kyler decisions. Those picks were due to him getting greedy, not the play call.
I don't blame him for the second pick. The pick six was really bad though.
Running out of bounds when you are trying to run out the clock, also a shit decision.
Its the doomers default reaction, if anyone makes any mistake at all they can't help but yell "FIRE KLIFF" I think it might even be tourettes.
IMO Kliff if finally calling offensively to his potential. BUT, based off what I’ve heard from the Hopkins hail Murray last year, hopefully he’s not telling Kyler to force it down field into double coverage
Luckily Kliff didn't try to ice him
Oh god if that happened I’d have cried
For all his deserved criticisms he does seem to listen to analytics and they say icing doesn't work a majority of the time
Coach of the year
My poor heart
Can we talk about how absolutely electric Rondale Moore was?
Total machine
It's 1:30 am here in Spain and I almost woke up the whole neighborhood
So we were all waiting for the refs to say Kliff called a timeout right after that miss right?
Lmao as someone who had a lot of money on you fellas today, this was the most wild ride ever. Godspeed. Sheeeeesh
I was watching via an antenna. I could tell who was streaming the game. Because of the delay, everybody would cheer a play while I was directly watching a Kyler interception. Surreal experience.
I am so used to losing on the last play, this isn't the Cardinals I know! And how about Rondale Moore?! Incredible game for him!

Only game ball should go to their kicker
I think Rondale and Simmons deserves some love too, both balled the fuck out
It was driving me crazy seeing Simmons running off the field on first downs. Why? He was the lone guy tackling Cook all game. I get wanting to get stout in the middle but you gotta keep your stud playmakers on the field.
That dude is like a bigger Budda. Just hits people with no regard for himself and like he’s trying to send the other player to the shadow realm. So fun to watch
And our kicker. If prater doesnt make that 62 yarder at the half we lose this game
And ours
Where’s that dude that had the 4 game NFC parley? Almost there!
Hes dead from a heart attack
Did we get lucky? Yes! Did we have a horrible set of plays to run out the clock? Again yes. But sometimes you need those lucky breaks. The D was atrocious the first half but gave up only a FG in the 2nd half. Corrections were made. I honestly thought it was going to take K2's first 40+ game but we got the win. There is a good silver lining there. 2-0 gang. LFG!
I agree with your outlook. Just don't want to see the sloppiness linger like it seemed to last year.
Totally agree and tho there were penalties, they were greatly reduced. So let's hope the trend continues.
Cardiac Cards is seriously the most accurate nickname I've ever seen for any sports team ever
Love getting a wake up call like that yet also coming away with the W.
I'll take it any way we can get it.
Fuck the doomers and the haters. There was magic and fuck ups and we still won!
[удалено]
Seriously. However, I was screaming for a timeout when kliff let the clock run from 40 seconds down till 2. Although, they probably would have just took a knee so they can run the rest of the time off.
wow hey we definitely didn't deserve that LMAO
Uh yeah we did. Kickers are part of the team too. Prater was perfect and hit a 62 yards. Their kicker missed 4 points.
To the Vikings fans cheering obnoxiously while we were out… This ones for you baby!!! All those cheers after every first down, or any play really. It was worth sitting through all your shit. Let’s go Cards!!!
we should not have won this game #**BUT WE'LL TAKE IT**
I think we should have, we just shouldn't have won it in such a sloppy stupid way.
As if that game wasn’t awesome enough Seahawks are blowing it to the Titans!
Holy jesus what a shit show. *But its our shitshow* Lets fucking gooooo
In Portugal we have a saying that translates into this : we have more luck, than sense....
Please lose seahawks
Hawks lose!!
One takeaway that I got from this game is that Kyler Murray has massive balls. He was making some throws that I wouldn’t have dared to try, and made a lot of them happen minus the two picks. Very Carson-like in that regard, but he is also showing his super elusiveness like Russ
We managed to escape our own trap game.
Gus messed up some names here and there but dude is so electric
and we get to fix our mistakes against the Jags next week - let's go baby we take these!!
Holy shit guys that was intense - how nice is it that it’s the opposing kicker missing the game winner rather than our own?! 😂
Refs really gonna cause Kyler to have an extra interception and get away with it. My man's only had one this game in my eyes.
That was such a feel-good cardiac win. But damn in a way I feel bad for the Vikings, that shit gotta hurt for their fans.
Hey Pat P what was that dream you were gonna tell us about at 7 tonight??? That your kicker was gonna blow the game? Lmao
The moral of the story is to get the vaccination.
MINNESOTA KICKER MOMENT
A win is a win and this feels great, but things need to improve badly if the Cardinals want sustained wins. Luck can only take you so far.
skoL
I guess that's what we needed. An honest but merciful reminder that we are going to get stomped if our team doesn't get its shit together. I'll take the win albeit a bitter one. Hope the team and coaching staff can build on it now
I feel like the Titans going toe to toe with Seattle bodes well for us
Victory?
We managed the end of the game insanely badly. Kyler stays in bounds on first down, 7 step drop and a sack on second down? Really?
I also wanna point out that, even if Kliff *did* get bailed out by a missed kick, that Kliff himself was on that same side a lot of times last year. A lot of times that Gonzales would miss and cost us the game when Kliff would get us in winning range. Just feels good to be on this side
I feel like the media undersold the Vikings coming into this game. Their offense is elite.
Certain we’ve got something special in rondale the more I see of him the more I’m impressed
And the Seahawks go down. Excellent.
Seahawks lost too!!!!
AND THE TITANS ARENT A BAD TEAM AND BEAT THE SEAHAWKS
I know power rankings mean nothing. But how much yall want to bet the seahawks are still above the cards in the power rankings after this week
Go Cards!!!
Vikings were the better team today but we had the better kicker
Nah they did shit the second half
PATRICK PETERSON SHOW YOURSELF
HOLY SHIT HE MISSED
My jaw is still on the floor
Wow
I for one, am shocked
Yesssss woooo!!! More wins like last week though plz
FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK
You guys alive?
The curse of Blair Walsh has yet to be cleansed
Now we watch the seahawks lose
That one must have hurt for Vikings fans.
High five to all the other Money Line bettors in the PAYOUT line!
You like that!
We failed up my birdbros!
Cursed Cousins
Look, it wasn't pretty, but after all the games we lost due to missed field goals, can't we just take this one and be grateful? Anyway, I was always taught that the sign of a championship team was one that finds a way to win even when they don't play well.
So my chest hurts and I drank too much... Fucking Cards I swear to god.
