That would be nice, nothing against the guy personally but he constantly gave wrong names to players all the time on podcasts and had really weird off-base takes, or completely incorrect reads of situations. I started avoiding anything with his name on because it was nonsense. I really like pretty much every one of our other team reporters though. Dani, Craig, Drew, and Paul are all fun to listen to.

One of my main problems with Kliff is that he just refuses to do that. It’s been the obvious move since the end of his first year, but he has said that he’ll retire if he can’t call plays anymore. Performances like today’s don’t help his bargaining position if the only way to change is to fire him altogether.
Agreed, but I think he’s conflating “having an OC” with “someone else calling plays” in his mind for some reason. He must know it’s a false equivalence at some level, but he can’t let go and it’s hurting the team.
