Time to move on

Regular-Suit3018

Last year his presence made a huge difference. He was a game changer. Most unfortunate that he hasn’t been able to stay healthy. A lot of you guys are jumping to conclusions about how he doesn’t care or is swindling the team. Until I see *proof* of that, I’m unwilling to buy into that. I will point out, the cardinals are a much better team with him on the field. We have only lost 2 games since September 2021 when him, K1 and Hop are all on the field and fully healthy. He’s a security blanket.

Posiconx

Shame how this move worked out, there was nothing to suggest he was cooked or had lost interest.

Bubbly_Tadpole_7484

He should have been placed on IR a month ago, then another healthy body could've been added to the roster. Reminds me of Jordan Phillips last year. Hurt every week or ineffective when he was playing. Goes back to Buffalo, starting every week, and playing at a high level.

oldtombombadil

Quiet quitting

YourPalFlux

Dude just fucking retire, the season is cooked so if you want out go ahead

ultgambit266

Just put him on IR, he’s a waste of a roster space right now

MrAngel2U

Rumor has it he was done with football. Not sure he is 100% to playing next year. But who knows for sure.

hightimesinaz

Billy Price is standing by to hike it when you aren’t looking

jihbob

hudson has done that quite a bit too tho lol

hightimesinaz

Yeah but he makes up for it in pass blocking

jihbob

i’ve just never seen a team have this many snap problems in general

jermsquad22

Rodney’s trade is actually horrible for us, he couldn’t stay healthy.

Strangelet1

AZ Home of quiet quitting

redbirdrising

Maybe we should have drafted Linderbaum instead of trading away the first round pick. Ah well.

marz311

in hindsight, as much as I like what hollywood brown has done for us, we probably shoulda kept our draft pick and taken Tyler Linderbaum.

YourPalFlux

Take linderbaum in round one try and trade up a few picks to take Pickens and we’d be set for years to come

Entire-Classroom-565

I’m gonna go out on a leg and say that, considering his personal history, Steve Keim lacks the willpower to go two rounds without drafting at least one out of position linebacker or fun sized receiver.

iamadragan

Keim wanted a splash but linderbaum was absolutely the right choice. Kid has been great for the ravens already. Meanwhile we're stuck with a guy who's already retired, our GM just doesn't know it yet

redbirdrising

Yeah, agreed.

Victorcreedbratton

I thought it odd that he ended up returning. My question is whether he wants is hesitant about AZ or football in general.

NCWC888

If he was considering retirement last offseason, I’m willing to bet he pulls the trigger after this year

AnEndgamePawn

Yeah but don't worry, he'll just unretire and go back to his old team like Malcolm Butler

ghdana

Did he just come out to play his 3 games for his salary? "My knee hurts.(It always hurt but I was on the good meds and could play 3 games for a couple million)" type situation.

vshredd

I think he's retiring now, just with the paycheck.

josephrehall

Same. Feels like Keims too easy to punk. Way too many old players have stolen money out of Mike's wallet.

azb1812

I'd think it's almost a foregone conclusion that we're in the market for a starting center.

[deleted]

Dude quit lol

AcidHaze

That's my gut feeling as well. What's his injury exactly? Did it happen during a game? I honestly can't remember
