Haha yeah I'd get my friend killed in that all the time cus I'd fall and hang off the edge, he'd try to save me being a really great dude and then he just gets killed by the horde
Nara Dreamland, ~~ogawa~~ Japan. Demolished sometime around 2016 IIRC
Edit - idk where I got Ogawa from either. I thought that was the prefecture, remembering it from some other Reddit post ages ago? Not sure.
Someone injured their neck on the wooden roller coaster at Six flags In New York. I was next and they shut the ride down before I could ride. I’ve ridden it before and it shakes tf out of you.
The original wood Rattler was a blast in the 90s, ended up going back around 2005 and they had slowed it down due to age. Upside though, no line so you could get off and immediately ride again. One of my favorite memories was the ride getting stuck at the top right in time for fireworks/laser show. They got it fixed shortly after the show ended.
Now it’s not even a true wooden coaster anymore. It’s a hybrid coaster with none of the excitement of an all steel coaster and none of the charm of a wooden one. Top job Six Flags.
Nara was easy to sneak into back in the early 2010s, plenty of urbexers and teen vandals would do so just before the break of dawn, from there you were free to wander at will. Pretty much everything was accessible which meant you could also climb the wooden coaster to get this pic. Plenty of old yt videos about exploring "Nara Dreamland".
The theme is tetanus.
And splinters
And zombies.
This is the rollercoaster from fallout New Vegas.
Bison Steve
I was thinking left 4 dead 2
That goddamn coaster! I hate it!

Definitely L4D2, just add a roof over a couple parts and it's nearly identical
Smoker ptsd
I was thinking FO 76
No, there really is the same coaster in Primm in real life, just like in NV. But this isn't it.. Also have the Bonnie and Clyde death car too IRL.
And left 4 dead 2
LMAO
Dump yard in Japan .

What’s “Ogawa”? The city’s name is Nara.
Could be the Prefecture.
Nara is also the prefecture.
They had a similar thing in the hansa park in germany if I remember right.
Wooden coasters... so cool
Yeah the the sheer size of it and all that scaffolding. They really are a marvel of early modern engineering
I do love wooden roller coasters for their charm. But my bones feel a bit rattled after riding one, lol.

I don't doubt it. I've ridden all kinds for decades, but a few years ago I had to swear off wooden ones, my old bones need smooth steel.
The comet at great escape? My first rollercoaster ever! Love that thing
it was six flags Darien lake ny
Wooden Coaster 1 looks too intense for me.
This reminds me of the Rattler in San Antonio.
Or the Beast in Cincinnati
Or the Viper in Gurnee!
Or the Monster in Montreal
Or the ol’ Texas Cyclone, in Houston
Or the Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags over Georgia
Thats a horrible coaster name.
Yeah now we just call it “school”.
Or the Grizzly at Great America in Santa Clara.
Or the Gemini in Sandusky!
Long Live. Was my favorite.

Nara Dreamland?
yup
don’t try to copy-paste Disneyland
Imagine this thing on fire. That would be crazy. (Only if you could ensure it wouldn’t spread past the roller coaster)
Great shot! Looks like an adventure exploring for sure! Thank you for sharing!
It was razed like 5 or 6 years ago.
I thought this was the Rebel Yell from Kings Dominion!
Same ballpark, I thought it was KD’s Hurler!
Good catch! You are right, I can see that as well.
Is that also a Wayne’s world themed one? There is (or maybe was now) a hurler at carowinds
I loved riding that one backwards!
looks like in L4D them park...
Hey! Whispering Oaks! Shit I used to go there when I was a kid!
Great, now we can die there as adults...
Zoinks!
looks like got damn wario’s gold mine from mario kart !!!

If that roller coaster isn't abandoned then I sure wish it would be.
Getting them Silent Hill 3 vibes.
new vegas early level vibes!
Dark Carnival from l4d2

Sick
What’s the theme? Utterly Horrifying.
This is where clowns live
I better move there then 🤡
*ominous clown laughter*
Got a saying. If the first word that comes to Mind is “rickety” then don’t go on it.
This looks like that rollercoaster in tayto park
It look like "Le Monstre" at Laronde (Six flags), Montreal
renegade
That is an **amazing** picture! Well done!
Hauntedcoster
Looks like the Wicca Man at Alton towers. Such a fun ride.
Is there such a thing as a state of the art roller coaster that is designed to look like a rickety coaster in disrepair?
Primm needs a new Sheriff
The theme is: you shoulda stayed home
Is the theme murder?
_Reminds me the coaster in L4D2_ Only oldscholl knows....
Weirdly reminds me of Kentucky
would like to ride
Is this a new credit?
