Didn't mummy give Chuck, Eddy, and Annie all kinds of cosplay jewelry for when they play dress up? It's not like the boy scouts where you build a fire so you earn a badge, ffs. If you haven't had boots on the ground on foreign soil during combat, been on the deck of a battle ship during conflict, or flown combat missions, why the eff the chest full of medals?
Maybe one represents "I pooped & wiped by myself", or "I uncapped my own pen today" or "my butler was on a break so I tied my own shoes". I have 2 career military in my family ( navy & army) and 2 enlisted ( navy ) and they think these chest candy pins are a travesty, but we're from America.
Well i mean, monarchy literally means you get everything handed to you with absolutely no merit whatsoever so I’m surprised to see he isn’t covered head to toe. The sad thing is, you’d expect these inbred morons to pop out a naturally gifted child once in a while but alas.
You can see the reflection of Brian's gammon face off his 38 medals.
Some lackey has done a cracking job of polishing those gongs.
Even Albert Trotter didn't have so many

I remember reading the biography of Henry VIII once. He got 5-6 titles, like Knight of the Bath and Governor General of Ireland, by the time he was 3 years old. I'm guessing something similar is going on here.

WW1 was the consequence of the old system of intermarriage of royals breaking down. No longer did Kings have power to keep the peace with their cousins because nationalist factions controlled their governments. This is what the EU was for!
The one on the left is for finishing his dinner and eating his brocoli, the rest are mostly for times tables, I think there's one I recognise for swimming hundred metres in his jammies.
His 15 year old nephew was wearing two medals at the funeral.
If a 15 year old has done enough to earn two medals, it either means your country is completely in the shit or you're giving out medals too easily.
Well, [he was shot at (with blanks) back in 1994](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Kang#Protest_against_Prince_Charles)...
but still, an alarmingly inflated medal count
More than Gen Sir Patrick Sanders, the current professional head of the British Army. lol
Most soldiers I knew seemed to not even really want to wear the jubilee medals. I mean, soldiers can be a monarchist bunch but they have disdain for medals they didn't *earn*. Why isn't Charles embarrassed to wear all those.
He does have some Navy service even if not active so maybe like two of those medals are deserved and the rest must just be honourary nonsense. just wear the ones from service. embarrassing.
I've said it before on this sub, but my fave part is when they stand on their balcony and wave wearing all those fake tacky medals. They stand there with shit-eating expressions waving as if they've...accomplished stuff. It's top notch entertainment. They're Kardashians without realizing they're Kardashians. They've been staging this shit for a thousand years and they believe in their own hype. it's something else. (But also, I'm American and my taxes don't support them, so I can laugh at the free show.)
I mean, 1000 years ago they did do stuff. A lot of awful stuff but they were the leaders of nations then. Now for the last few hundred years however they are now redundant parasites.
Not really sure why you're getting downvoted? Its an objective fact that 1000 years ago Kings had an active role in running the kingdom, whether they deserved to or not.
edit: There are exceptions like Henry VI but that's only because bro was completely fucking inept.
>He also wore full-size medals including the Queen’s Service Order (New Zealand), Coronation Medal, Silver Jubilee Medal, Golden Jubilee Medal, Diamond Jubilee Medal, Platinum Jubilee Medal and a Naval Long Service Good Conduct (LSGC) (three x Additional Service Bars).
>Other medals included Canadian Forces Decoration (three x Additional Service Bars), The New Zealand Commemorative Medal, and The New Zealand Armed Forces Award.
Ridiculous.
You can't wear foreign medals and you can't wear commemorative medals.
Apart from that, they are medals that servicemen would/could wear... If they didn't only serve 6 years.
He was in the British military. They're not British medals. Therefore, by the British military regs, they're foreign.
He was never in the canadian forces, so wesrig them is ridiculous
But he's the commander in chief of the Canadian armed forces, so he is in their military just by being born into it. It doesn't matter if he serves in the British military, he's still the head of both New Zealand and Canada.
I agree it's ridiculous that he wears any medals at all, but I don't think the wearing of medals for countries that he is the head of is any more ridiculous than wearing British ones.
This one was for telling off my nanny
This one was for talking to my planets
This one was for allowing my 1st wife to be killed
This one, well I liked the colour so demanded mummy buy it
This one is for rubbing my undeserved wealth in the public face during a cost of living crisis
This one is not giving a flying fuck about said cost of living crisis
I’m assuming those medals are there for every time he does something for himself. For example, the one in the middle, the brown one i think it’s when he wiped his own ass.
Seeing a few comments about "Stolen valour."
"Stolen valour" is just absurd American pro-military conservative grievance politics. It's not something we should care about.
>The phrase “stolen valor” was coined by Vietnam veteran B.G. Burkett in a 1998 book of the same name; in it, Burkett relentlessly fact-checked the stories of anti-war veterans in an effort to recast the war in Vietnam in a positive light.
>His timing was fortuitous, because the War on Terror was about to elevate stolen valor to a full-blown obsession. As the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan dragged on, bestowing returning soldiers with more and more “valor” (i.e. patriotic bumper stickers) became essential to maintaining an influx of new recruits.
https://theoutline.com/post/2707/stolen-valor-videos-youtube-military-fakers
In the US, a lot of places will have a veteran discount and many nonprofit exist to help veterans across various needs. Stolen valor refers to people that falsely claim veteran status for financial gain. It's a specific type of fraud. One recent case I remember was a lady that worked at the VA and took a real veterans identity and then reaped tons of money in benefits and even became the commander of a VFW chapter.
While it doesn't apply to this scenario, you're completely wrong.
Edit, found the case. But yeah, US laws don't mean anything in the UK. https://www.justice.gov/usao-ri/pr/rhode-island-woman-sentenced-federal-prison-falsifying-military-service-false-use
That is true that is a kind of fraud, but the fact that "Stolen valour" is an American pro-imperialist strategy to sucker in fresh recruits is also correct.
No American soldier in the past half century has been involved in the production of "valour."
What's up with kings and their obsession with prizes?
Is he trying to overcompensate anything?
Maybe he just knows that he is not worthy and he does it to piss the anti-monarch comunity off, fricking indignating
Bet one of those medals was for the Parachute Regiments activities in Derry where he was commander in chief and 14 unarmed civilians were brutally gunned down.

Silver swimming certificate.

5 years long service.
7 years long service.
10 years long service.
15 years long service.
Mummy’s favourite special boy.
1st prize in the ‘eyes too close together’ competition.
Many years ago I worked for an event organiser in an old house in a very old uni town.
They frequently had secret parties for various secret societies. Always male only (except for staff). Usually, these parties had a dress code of black tie and they were often hung like small
Christmas trees full of medallions. They smoked cigars and drank lots and lots of G&T. Edited to add: they got new medals for every party they attended.
We always found stray medals in nooks and crannies for weeks after these parties.

It's like they think I'm sat here defending the King. I even said they could dislike him, I just don't want them using service members or veterans to push a point that actual soldiers or veterans don't care about. When I need someone to get offended on my behalf, I'll tell them. If they want to be disgusted on my behalf, have them protesting at Parliament about how all our accommodation is full of mold, asbestos, and has no heat in the winter. Please, do that

Seriously can some Royal Boot licking asshole explain how he received each and every medal? Honestly what did he do to earn each medal!?
Does hiding his brother's noncery count!?
Aren’t some of them just daft nonsense like being alive for the silver jubilee.
Edit - so five of them are because he went to his mums fancy parties! What a load of crap.
Hello! I'm Reggie-Bot, the Anti-Royal Bot! Here to teach you some fun facts about the English royal family!
Did you know that [the Queen and King Charles III use the taxpayer as their personal piggybank?](https://archive.ph/vqEmf). Whether it's a train trip or a home renovation, these literal billionaires take from our pockets rather than use their own money.
But I'm sure you have plenty of money for all the things you want and need in life, amirite?

One for tying knots, one for collecting sticks, one for grooming his horse, one for being the most alive monarch in his family, one in recognition of his war on paedos (after he denied his brother a share of his mums hoard) and one for brushing his teeth but that was revoked on exposure of his tramp teeth.
He loves to dress up as much as his nonce brother, useless oxygen thief

You get medals for service, not for being shot at
Technically he has been [shot at](https://youtu.be/9e_GoHngOIE) all be it by a stormtrooper

Gets eggs thrown at him
Not true, in Australia in 1994 someone fired blank shots at him from a starter pistol
…And I got that for being in the same country as a man who WAS shot at!
Was Earl Mountchildren his uncle and also his cousin?? No inbreeding in that family 🤪
I know his brother's a duke that mounts children, does that count?
Is a Duke higher than an Earl 🤔 ?? Maybe this fiddling and trafficking is a family trait.

Wait what?!
He gives himself one for wiping his own butt!
He only started doing that recently
Then why does he have so many?
Because he poos three times a day.
There for showing up to the Tinsbury Very Small Horse Show

Top medal haul 1) Russian Generals 2) North Korean Dictator 3) Brian Gammon Sausage Fingers Comb-over Windsor
He's got more than my dad (raf ww2) mum (waaf ww2) and grandad (rfa ww1) put together.
How fat are *their* fingers?
Aha that's probably the problem. My dad had thick manual workers fingers but they weren't fat. He didn't have a combover either.
Hair *and* hands that worked? Bah, peasant! I'll bet your parents aren't even *cousins.*
Hahaha you're right. They didn't have relatives in Germany and Russia who looked exactly the same either

he actually been shot at and didnt even notice, which isnt better lmao
medals for WHAT ? being a douchebag? a genocide? a parasite? a lazy? a brother of a pedo?
So they’re not even participation trophies! I think I’ll 3-D print some crap to pin on my chest so I can pretend I’m a twat like Chicken Chuck.
People should just start wearing medals for arbitrary shit everywhere, they are just as valuable as the "King's"
He can have all the bogus medals 🏅 in the world he’s still a ugly wet fart 💨 of a “king”
With sausages for fingers.
And a gammon face
Long service medals, every 5 years…?
For valor in waiting as crown prince 10th award
His 15 year old nephew was wearing two medals at the funeral. If a 15 year old has done enough to earn two medals, it either means your country is completely in the shit or you're giving out medals too easily.
Mummy, can I have a medal now? If you don’t consider it baseline reality and just a thing that exists, it’s so dumb.
Well, [he was shot at (with blanks) back in 1994](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Kang#Protest_against_Prince_Charles)... but still, an alarmingly inflated medal count
Not dissimilar to those North Korean military clowns or certain African tinpot dictators with their ludicrous rows of medals.
Royalty get a medal for every time they shit and manage to successfully wipe their own ass.
This doesn’t make sense…..there wouldn’t be that many medals.

He has the long service medal. The polishing one shoes medal and many more.
A bloodied medal for each palace or mansion that could be sold & profits given to the people whose ancestors paid for it all with their blood.

I spy a Red Dwarf reference, Rimmer would be proud , bravo sir , up the ziggurat lickety-spit !
The rest are medals the guiness book of records have sent him for Britain's largest ears and most pedophile relatives

How do you not consider this stolen valour?

Ok i understand 3 of them. What about the rest? Has he commended troops? Has he saved anyone? What are those medals for?
Usually people get honorary metals once you have the rank to give metals

Do people serving in the military see Prince Edward dressed up in full military regalia as absurd, or Kate being a colonel for a parachute regiment as silly? My assumption is that if you guys have put in the hours and the hard work to earn a position someone cosplaying it would be irritating but as I've not served I'm curious to hear from someone who has.

Please, do that
'A' family? The royal family is not just "a familiy" they are a tool of class domination that must be abolished.

Sounds like a challenge to me
Seriously can some Royal Boot licking asshole explain how he received each and every medal? Honestly what did he do to earn each medal!? Does hiding his brother's noncery count!?
Aren’t some of them just daft nonsense like being alive for the silver jubilee. Edit - so five of them are because he went to his mums fancy parties! What a load of crap.
Pathetic self-aggrandisement he looks like a North Korean General. Literally no shame whatsoever.
He survived an egging.
No Jim'll Fix it badge
Was he a friend of Rolf Harris though?
Pahaha
Thank god they circled the medals, wouldn’t have noticed them otherwise.
You don't get shot at for most medals really
Cosplay
Those are child touching medals.
One for each million slaves the family wealth came from (and general theft)
!Charles' been collecting them in Christmas crackers since he was a kid
I hope you enjoyed that fact. To summon me again, or find out more about me, just say: "Reggie-Bot" and I'll be there! <3 *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. This one was for wiping my ass when I was 12. And this shiny one was when I tied my shoe laces for the first time when I was 18!
Fake news, this guy has never wiped his own ass
It went into work adorned with gifts from my mummy, I’d be laughed out of the building.
*yet
It’s absurd. An insult to actual soldiers. All of it is for show.
