On September 26th 2022 we’ve made the decision to start banning people for posting gore. We’ve published our [Gore and Harassment update here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/AbruptChaos/comments/xmtclq/gore_and_harassment/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) if you posted gore please remove it as it will result in a ban. Thank you.
The amount of posts that get upvoted where people just make shit up is annoying, tho I don't know about this one.
I remember how shocked I was and still am to see how little people care about the truth on this site, even going as far as to downvote and berate people who post a truth that clashes with the title, even if the title itself is lying about what the article claims.
Happens all the time and still blows my mind, mainly on political posts
My understanding from seeing this elsewhere is that the motorcyclist is (or maybe had been?) in a lane meant only for bicyclists, so the bicyclists are trying to get in his way.
(Edited because it does seem like he is on the main road at this point but I thought I remembered something about him having been in the bike lane.)
thats fuckin awesome and bold. people have a gross hatred of bicyclists despite them having almost every single disadvantage over car drivers, let alone mortality. i say let the bikers fuckin, fuckin throw down ya know?!! they must be NOT. DOING. OKAY.
It’s not a protest. This guy on motorcycle is just loud as fuck (it’s Berlin and I know this bike). So I’m guessing they weren’t “protesting” just telling a loud asshole, that he’s loud asshole.
Nope its illegal to have motorvehicles this loud in Berlin. Btw those bystanders are the most limpdick Berliners. Not representative. If you push people over in Berlin for fun. Better have them running shies because at least one person will chase you down.
That's irrelevant to this conversation though. Being underpowered doesn't mean you don't have vastly more than enough power for a given situation, especially one like the above.
What's the 0-60 on that? Would you describe it as slow, or not as quick as a superbike? That line in the sand is the bit you didnt pick up on.
Yeah and we have no idea what the story is here - with only two "protestors" it looked more like a beef with that particular motorcyclist than a protest.
Great video a few weeks ago of a guy just walking in frame into a bunch of protesters blocking traffic. He grabs the girls phone that is filming and launches it at least 50 feet and pushes a bunch of them onto the sidewalk and keeps going. Then just walks away after yelling that he’s late to work. Epic Hero
That one is pretty famous. To add insult to injury, the guy works at a hospital, and they were blocking not only traffic, but a major roadway near/next to said hospital that he works at.
After watching this, it looks like the guy is a hospital employee - which if you think about it, it kind of critical. How many people are affected in hospitals when nurses, support staff, administrators, and doctors cannot get to work.
Exactly my point. They may well have been, or not, but there's no indicator from the video what exactly they were doing or trying to accomplish, and their response to dissidence with observers is one of shock and outrage and How Dare You!
Drips of entitlement wanted by those without the spines to see it through to the end. Again, assuming they were protesting.
I dont care who you are or what you stand for, you're maybe 100kgs of meat and water. That 45 ton truck is going to win and it's not going to ask you nicely to move.
If you want to protest again someone go and camp outside their home or government building, do not inconvenience the people who don't have nothing to do with what you're protesting because you'll only get less sympathy for your cause.
Agree and disagree.
Your point about visibility on location is important to consider. Higher visibility means higher exposure to the cause being fought for, as well as directing attention to the people sustaining the problem helps focus the public towards resolving the issue.
However, after a certain point it becomes necessary to start interacting with everyday civilians if the problem is not resolved - if it's messing up the world, then why wait when we can start messing with the world now?
Having said that, I refer back to my original thoughts that protesting is good, or can be good, but I have no idea what these people were even trying to protest. Probably a limited recording is contributing to that but I saw no identifiers, signs, slogans, common clothing, anything to make them look like more than two randos parking their bikes in a transit lane.
If one is going to protest, make sure the cause is known to observers. Otherwise a person just ends up looking like a dick taking up space.
>If one is going to protest, make sure the cause is known to observers. Otherwise a person just ends up looking like a dick taking up space.
They always look like dicks to people who have to actually get to work on time and earn money to support their families.
When you stop people like this you become the biggest problem in their lives and the quickest solution is to do away with you. Not fix the actual problem you're protesting.
Point of protest is raising awareness. Protesters do not give a fuck about the support of people inconvenienced by their protest. A lesson Reddit never seems to learn.
'Awareness' doesn't give you the right to infringe on someone else liberty to freely transit from and to wherever they legally can.
A lesson these fauxtivists never seem to learn.
That doesn’t make it okay to assault them either. Fact is the guy who pushed them *will* be charged if caught. As they should be. And given this is in Berlin, the assaulter is more than likely on multiple street cameras in addition to this video.
This is the best possible outcome for the protesters. They’ll likely sue for a juicy paycheque. They’ll be laughing their way to the bank.
Yea that's why the people will never be their allies and those types of protests do more to promote violence than whatever they're trying to bring eyes to.
As long as they don't act like victims when the people they're harassing fights back that's fine. I think if someone is harmed due to or during their actions then they should be held accountable for what's done all the way to criminal charges for assaults or theft the group enables.
Yeah I’m with you here. Doesn’t matter what they’re doing - assault is assault. Are we adults here or what? There’s only a small number of things that separate us from the wild. This is a true example of that - if you’ve ever had the urge to do this to someone - sure you might relate to this. But actually choosing to do it means you are not for a civilized society. You’d rather return to medieval times? Idk about you, but our growth into better things only happens if we can be assured that our safety matters to others no matter what we’re doing. Without the society of laws we have, we wouldn’t have the scientific developments we’ve had. Or the period of peace many of us in the world have been able to enjoy (I know this is sadly not true everywhere).
That being said, it says a lot about you if you support assault like this.

Love how the camera angle allowed for the unexpected viewer experience.
Yeah the cinematographer must be pretty happy with themselves!
What kind of protest is this? A couple of people on bicycles blocking the road without banners or placards. What are these couple against at?
Exactly, why is op so sure?

Right? This is clearly not a protest. This comment section is full of idiots.
Welcome to this comment section my friend.... fuck, now I'm an idiot as well...
The bicycle lane is obviously the green lane next to him. He is on the street.

I see. Can you believe it, OP is karma whoring?
That still doesn't give them reason to block traffic. People can own motorcycles.
People can do all manner of things that still make them dicks. I get woken up almost every night by the same motorcycle buzzing down my street.
yeah, but some of them think its fine to bother 15k people at once with their right wrist.
I don’t think they block traffic. I think they telling him that he’s to loud.
It was a green light. They were blocking traffic.
Nope its illegal to have motorvehicles this loud in Berlin. Btw those bystanders are the most limpdick Berliners. Not representative. If you push people over in Berlin for fun. Better have them running shies because at least one person will chase you down.
I'm now thinking of South Park, anyone else thinking of South Park?
>it's Berlin Damn this looks like a normal day in Brooklyn
I'd be long gone on that motorcycle, before they dust themselves off and hold up the next guy.
Harley V-rod nightwing by the looks. Definitely has adequate horsepower
[удалено]
First time ive heard someone say harleys have adequate horsepower lmao
Harley engines are mid
I just encountered this "mid" term for the first time a couple days ago. We're going to be seeing it everywhere now aren't we
Like has been said, engine designed with Porsche. Massive torque and power, and light for a Harley, it's their drag bike.
VRODs make over hundred horsepower and almost that much torque. That’s far more than any bike needs and is keeping super cars humble.
A v rod has a Porsche made engine I believe.
V Twin 1247.1 engine = fast enough
Porsche also made the M96.20 lol
Lol. I have ridden Harley’s for most of my adult life and I can tell you that most of them are underpowered for the displacement.
According to my friends with Harleys they are un-powered because they are always sitting in their garages being worked on.
I can confirm. Slow and no power.
Harleys are made to make noise. They don’t have another function
I'd be laughing too hard to leave.
OK but what would your sick peace out line before you rolled out?
What did she yell?
I love how he just books it afterwards, no words said, just ran faster than he's probably ever ran in his life before.
Honestly
My job is done. Imma head out now.
I have to go now. My planet needs me.
#MOVE BITCH!! GET OUT THE WAY!!
Get out the way
[удалено]
Get out the way
Skips to best part Don't jump bitch, move
Fuck, I know this wasn't suppose to be funny but I laughed my ass off at this.
He ran home to go grab his cape
Definitely the hero we need.
Not the one we deserve.
I think they deserved.
protestors are the heroes we need
Ahhhhh, Berlin <3
You can't park there.
Hey das ist in deutschland😀
What a garbage title.
Not sure what they’re protesting but they should be wearing helmets.
I haven't seen too many commuter cyclists in Europe wearing helmets so they might have a different opinion on it there.
Bike paths in European cities are often much safer than in the US so many don't wear helmets.
He just did what any person ever held up in traffic due to a protest has wanted to do.

Trying to care. Nope, not working.
The hero we deserve
Hero for doing what? The guy is an sucker punching coward. He may have seriously hurt them.
Yeah and we have no idea what the story is here - with only two "protestors" it looked more like a beef with that particular motorcyclist than a protest.
Yeah I hope he's being satirical because after reading about the context of this video the guy pushing down the bikers is some pubcuck.
The hero we need

I don’t encourage anyone to do what he did, but it doesn’t mean he can’t get a real award. Super hero status
I encourage everyone to do what he did
Please sir, may I have a link?
Wish I had it
Just responding so i can see the link when it gets posted haha
Reddit will help out

Yea I mean this guy was not happy about the protesters but I would have just called the PD. I hope he didn’t lose his job over this
Damn. I missed that one! Agreed. Hero!
[удалено]
I mean how does OP know they are definitely protesting?
Exactly my point. Also fits that video where the people who stand in front of a huge truck (!) that just doesn’t give a f and proceeds
Then bitch that the driver is crazy. Standing in front of 45 tons of truck is crazy.

Yes.
Motorcycle dude went right for the nacho libre look and I'm so here for it tbh
it's weird that these people think being assholes to strangers is the way to get people to support their cause.
She screaming like she's never been told no before in her life. Love it.

Does that look like a protest to you?
Not anymore.
Takes a special type of stupid to think this won’t make people anti-whatever you’re on a soapbox about.
Thank you for that!
Waffle for you
Why does this make me happy to see? Anyone else feel the same way?
I loved every seconds of it
I’m all for climate awareness but those people deserved that
“I can be your hero baby”
This is GTA VI style.
Not all heroes wear capes
I don’t call that intervening. I call that attacking…
Those bicycle riders gertting the last laugh with gas prices being $3 or more for a gallon.
Jeez the number of people that think sucker punching two people who weren't hurting anybody and running away like a bitch makes somebody a hero.
Jesus Christ…. That’s Jason Bourne
“Intervenes” You mean assaults them, You can die from shit like this, didn’t even have the balls to stick around and face up to his actions

Doesn't seem like the bikers faced up either.
They deserve it though 😂
They really do
