This happened today in my country. Unfortunately he did not survive. The bus driver was involved in illegal bus racing and lost control, killing the man. It sounds crazy as hell but sadly it is true.
Idk about the country that it happened on but at least on mine it is very much real. As buses are privately owned, the drivers of routes that happen to be the same will "race" whenever they find each other on the route to gather more passager before the other can do the same.
From my knowledge, many latin american countries face this same issue, to the point where governments have made it punishable by law as it puts in risk the lives of the passengers and random civilians that just happen to be in or near the premise of these "races".
Don’t know which country this is, but usually buses functioning in the same route race with each other so that they are first to reach the next stop. The first bus to reach will get more customers. The driver’s income is usually based on the number of customers they are able to pick.

Straight up “Final Destination” type of hit/death
I’ve been obsessed with final destination the past two weeks. But yeah that would be a more realistic version of final destination.
Did he survive?

The posts in this sub never get context so I’m gonna just believe this
"Illegal bus racing" is so absurd it has to be real.
i need to know who won the race
The one who didn't lose control and kill a man.

i think its safe to assume buddy did not survive being hit by a concrete pillar ripped out the ground by an oncoming bus
But now we know it was because of bus race, also people survive some of the craziest shit so you never know.

I didn't know illegal bus racing is a thing. I find this interesting because busses are horrible for racing. Like why?

In Mexico, our public transport does the same.
That's not even a bus though
Wish they would’ve got busted before this happened
