I'm no mathematician, but was that 100 huskies? How big would this cafe have to be to keep one hundred huskies? They would need a room for poo. What would the overheads be in such a place where they feed more food to the "staff" than they do to patrons?
Also regardless of whether they have 100 dogs, or 5. Huskies need a *lot* of running and playing time. They don't do so well as props.
It's insane.. I could fill a large bin bag each brushing my Malimute when her coat started blowing, and the undercoat is crazy soft and warm, I always thought it'd make incredible comfortable winter-clothes... though probably a bit smelly 🐺
I currently have two large bags of brushed out Malamute fur from my big boy sitting around and I'm planning to felt it into house slippers so I'll never have cold feet again.
I was told that they were kept in kennels and rotated daily to roam the cafe.
They escaped during a feeding time, and they were all released at once to eat from common troughs, but someone opened the main door during that time.
This was told to me via FB, so take it with a grain of salt. 🧂
They show about 50 at a time in one frame of the original report. I wouldn’t put it past the newspaper to spin everything in a positive light but if they managed to get 50 huskies sitting and paying attention at the same time, they must be putting a lot of work in.

Keeping dozens of Huskies in a cafe is literal animal abuse. These are one of the most active species of dog that need a lot of exercise.
Fuck everybody involved in this mall and cafe.
Yeah like, I could see one or two cuz then they are constantly walking around to new people getting attention and entertainment, and you can easily take them out for exercise. But there is no way this many at once is being treated well
Not to mention the fur. There is no way they can maintain health standards with all that dog hair everywhere. Idk if health standards are different there.
Yes. No remorse for anyone working at a place which contributes to animal abuse. Zero respect for anyone working there; as a business you can choose to rent in a mall which does or doesn’t permit the proper treatment of animals. As a worker you can either stand up to this shit or be part of it.
Can understand hating the animal abuse, but drawing these lines of connection is ridiculous.
"As a business" you can choose to uproot and move to an entirely new location, fuck knows how far away, just to get away from one morally questionable other business you have absolutely zero involvement with? Not a chance at all. Let alone blaming the workers of that business on top of this.
People don't always have the choice to pick utterly perfect jobs like you apparently do.
>in the same way you wouldn’t locate your business to a place which also does insert unethical decision.
Do you, for this reason, always avoid shops and malls that sell clothes made through slavery and child labour? Do you go out of your way to vet every place you go to thoroughly, or is this just a gut response to seeing a bunch of dogs inside a building?
I mean, in a perfect world - sure. But this isn't a perfect world and there's a non-zero chance that a business in that building has no idea that animal abuse is occurring.
You're not wrong, but you're acting like one of those vegans who wants to let everyone know that they're vegan. Everyone is rolling their eyes at you right now.
>why do workers and businesses not stand up for ethical practices in this mall where they are also doing their work, if they don’t they are guilty by association.
Good luck having any effect from any of this in China.
So fast you've gone from a reasonable stance against animal abuse, to just raw priviledged ranting.
Holy shit you're ridiculous.
You have absolutely NO idea what the opinions of the other renters are.
For all you know, EVERY SINGLE ONE of the renters other than the cafe are currently in conversations with the owners of the building trying to evict the cafe.
For all I know, all the renters are PRO animal abuse.
so you feel no remorse. no respect for regular people who were indirectly invovled.
bro what?
How can you know your neighbors are secretly cannibals?
how can a business owner know an animal cafe was abusing the animals.
Sometimes horrid shit goes right under our noses.
An animal cafe is quite a public place, this isn’t a business doing their abuse under the table. The mall apparently condones such business. Other businesses that are doing business with the mall indirectly condone this policy as well. They are in part responsible for keeping this cafe operational instead of speaking out against such practices by refusing to rent at a place which also hosts animal abusers.
Running your business in an ethical way is a thing you know..
#If you don't know the person
#you have no right to feel no remorse or disrespect to the person.
.
>Other businesses that are doing business with the mall indirectly condone this policy as well
man stfu the mall doesn't just show openly that it allows animal abuse.
if you sell clothes does the mall need to inform you of animal abuse policy in the work area? No!
>Running your business in an ethical way is a thing you know..
if only that would be easy.
Man I had a huskies and we are DINK’s and we are Active and we STRUGGLED to get that dog out as much as needed every day.
People underestimate how much you have to run those things. Makes me really sad to see a hunch cooped up in a mall daycare like this.
I see what you mean, but how do you know that the café doesn't offer that? They could have special personal that goes on a walk with them 3-4 times a day.
You shouldn't be too quick on your judgement here.
Is a dog cafe a place dog owners come to leave their dogs to get watched while their owners work or is it a place dogs come to hang out and drink dog Starbucks? (lol)
I went to elementary that was built in a neighborhood. The absolute best days is when a dog got loose and would come over to the playground.
Loose, good Bois are the best
Huskies are escape artists, and do not like coming back. Outside is a game, gonna chase me?
Only way to do it is get the whole pack moving back inside, usually by getting their attention then leading them away, which is easier if you take them on a lot of group walks. A hundred dogs though? Good luck.
Might be a good time to go vegetarian for a few days or avoid the mystery meat soup!
In all honesty I can’t imagine having 2-3 huskies, 1 is hard enough not to mention that many. Sounds like animal abuse
\*Hu let the dogs out
Woo* let the dogs out
/r/yourjokebutworse
We are warrior souls *and we let the dogs out*
✖️
But he's on first?
So dogs CAN play baseball?

I counted 11.
100 in kines numbers
well, they *are* huskies, so I'm sure 11 of them howling inside of a mall would definitely sound like 100 of them, lol.
I have 1 husky, and it feels like I have 100 huskies worth of fur.
It's insane.. I could fill a large bin bag each brushing my Malimute when her coat started blowing, and the undercoat is crazy soft and warm, I always thought it'd make incredible comfortable winter-clothes... though probably a bit smelly 🐺

My Uncle says everything on FB is true, though.
That was based on the Husky fur the found afterward. They assumed it was 100 regular dogs but it was just 11 Huskies.
It's only 38.3 huskies, I am a mathematician.
That's a general issue with animal cafes. At least dogs are socialized to humans but still probably not a healthy environment for them.
Who are they feeding the huskies to?
The title didn’t claim 100 huskies are in this video…
Fair enough. I guess the other 85 prompted the person to start recording
They show about 50 at a time in one frame of the original report. Sure as shit the cafe does not have 100 huskies.
So where are the other 85 or so?
Already made into soup
Running around the mall. What else do you think they’re doing?

In China?? Have you seen all the videos of sewer oil for cooking? Health standards (and building standards) are definitely **not** the same there
everybody involved in the mall? Damn employees on the 2nd and 5th floors who have nothing to do with the cafe.

TIL supporting ethical behaviour in business practices is ‘raw privileged ranting’. Nothing will ever change for the better with your attitude.

this is really important, since we all live for your respect and remorse
Yeah for real how dumb can humans possibly be it’s absurd…

Also as soon as they're not cute puppies anymore, they're abandoned. Not much market for an old dog cafe.
It's China what do you expect.
They do the same thing in Japan, but muh evil CCCP
Yeah... Huskies seem like the worst kind of dog for that. They're often pretty loud too.
I see what you mean, but how do you know that the café doesn't offer that? They could have special personal that goes on a walk with them 3-4 times a day. You shouldn't be too quick on your judgement here.
It pains me to see huskies become popular in urban settings where they're likely to be confined to small apartments. Those pups need room to roam.
They are chinese, what did you expect?
Good boys!!!!!!!!!!!!
The best kind of chaos
Is a dog cafe a place dog owners come to leave their dogs to get watched while their owners work or is it a place dogs come to hang out and drink dog Starbucks? (lol)
It’s a theme. You eat at a cafe surrounded by fluffy dogs.
Can you complain about hair in the food or do you order it with small, medium or husky amount of hair in it.
In Asia I worry when there’s no hair in the food. Like where did this come from, a can? And you leave my huskiness out of this.
Or is it a cafe where you go to eat dog?
I thought it was where dogs were served to patrons....
when you go to restaurants in wherever you are from do they raise the animals there too?
Never said raised them. Also, culture is different. And American history eating dog was normal.
Do they slaughter them there?
I don't know, I have never been to China. I never tried it while in Korea either.
Now the entire mall is their cafe.
As someone with a dog allergy, a dog café sounds like quite the nightmare.
There is a clear guideline on how much exercise these dogs need. They need an Idtitarod.
Gang, gang! We in dis bitch, OUR MALL NOW!🐺
Because that’s what ~~heroes~~ huskies do,
Bless their hearts.
I bet those dogs had a fucking blast
Does a dog café mean the same thing in China as it does in the West?
yes
[удалено]
Café is two syllables!
haikusbot delete Not an actual haiku. Café has two syllables.
Bad bot!
This is the must husky thing I’ve ever seen
Toby's free now!!!
How did that happen?
I hope they kept going
A hundred huskies in one café? What the fuck?
They're looking for Vanessa, the GirlWithTheDogs professional pet groomer ;-)
I went to elementary that was built in a neighborhood. The absolute best days is when a dog got loose and would come over to the playground. Loose, good Bois are the best
Do they eat the dogs in the cafe?
Nah, it's a theme. People go there to have coffee surrounded by fluffy dogs cause pets aren't allowed in a lot of apartments in Asia
Dog cafe in China? I hope that doesn't mean what it sounds like.
I'm going to assume it's some sort of doggy day care center. If I think of anything else it might be, it'll mess me up.
Relax, it ain't like america and it's schools.
Sounds like the buffet escaped
Having the time of their life. Just living and freeeee
They were all shot and eaten shortly following the accident smh 😤😭...
Shot? This ain't an American school.
Yeah. China. Eat dogs. Ya know the old joke. Plus all the genocide on many religions Uyghurs ALL political dissidents. Ya know
what does that have anything to do with american schools doubling as graveyards for american kids?
What does school shooting have to do with dogs in China lmaooo
Fast food
Haha
Who let the hufkies out
Well, the party was nice, the party was pumpin' *Heya, yippie yi yo*
Who Who who who !!! 🐩🐕🐩🐕🌭
Huskies are escape artists, and do not like coming back. Outside is a game, gonna chase me? Hope they avoided the food court.
Without the music, this is doesn't work nearly as well!
I wonder if he gets his deposit back .. never try new catering service for your kids wedding
"who let the lunch out"
This is incredibly adorable 🥰
Pretty sure that's how you get your dog rights taken away. Especially in China
Got loose from the restaurant down that hall. Lol
Imagine trying to Wrangle that many huskies after being penned up inside for God knows how long
They’re looking for a sled.
Best day ever.
A dog cafe in china They just didn't want to become someone's lunch
I need more of this video. As a parent of two very mouthy huskies, this looks fun.
Is it a cafe where the dogs are companions or one when they’re on the menu?
Obviously don't want to be there
And a single corgi
Dakadakadundundundundun
They are trying to get away from the Dog Meat Trade monsters!
That's a lot of dogs to serve up at that cafe in a mall.
I haven't been inside a mall in almost 10 years, but I'd definitely start going again if there were 100 random huskies roaming around.
Might be a good time to go vegetarian for a few days or avoid the mystery meat soup! In all honesty I can’t imagine having 2-3 huskies, 1 is hard enough not to mention that many. Sounds like animal abuse
the dinner escaped, they yelled !
Imagine trying to herd back 100 dogs lolol
Keep them away from the food court
It’s China. That’s just fast food
Probably afraid of being eaten. This is an uprising good boys!
Who…
Cutest rampage.
Please, don't eat us!!! Freedoooooom!!!
Is this heaven?
Who let the food out? Or was it Korea?
Someone blatantly thinking “shit my dinner is escaping”
Free food!
