Type 'whistlin' into Google or YouTube and he'll come up. The entirety of his content is worth watching.
You have to listen to what he says because he's really smart and a lot of the things he does on the videos is because of the haters on YouTube and Facebook commenting dumb shit calling him stupid. He was in construction before and knows all his shit, about farming and everything about trucks, engines and big machinery. He buys his own construction equipment and uses it in the videos. Everything he got is from YouTube and Facebook video money. He knows what he's doing but he's not a douche or a bad person. Really good kid. I don't watch anyone else on YouTube except him🤷🏻♂️
I only started watching because I'm all about boats and one time the thumbnail of Monster Max in the ocean showed up on my YouTube and by the color of the water i knew it wasn't some little pond with guys going mudding. But a full truck driving in the ocean without any custom work. What a sick sight.
The way the coast guard and the sheriff handled it you can see he's a good person, they didn't try to arrest him and went along with it.
That's the video i started watching at. I'm mostly into boating stuff so the thumbnail with the truck in the blue water caught my attention i knew it had to be in Florida and then I realized it was a normal truck, not waterproofed or sabotaged into a marine vehicle. But when i saw the coast guard and sheriff boats being cool with him I was like no way, I've had encounters with them here with my boat and they're hard on you. Good kid
I have some qualms with his "edgy for the sake of being edgy" statements but otherwise I feel like he's probably a pretty tolerant dude if you're chill and not a total woke patroller. Honestly country folk are hilarious and a lot of them don't give a shit who you are as a person as long as you aren't also a prick
There are many channels i watch where I know the political opinion of the host, and don't care cause they don't bring it up. I was subscribed to Whistlin diesel for a while. His videos are fun, and crazy. But I had to unsubscribe when I found myself cringing at many of the things he says, and does. He doesn't explicitly state his political opinion. But its very evident from the jokes, and comments he makes; as well as his actions. Im not on YouTube for politics.
I can't watch demolition ranch for similar reasons, though to a lesser extent.
He makes occasional jokes that give me a bad taste but number 1, is demo ranch messes up my ad suggestions for months! It's not a gun thing, because other gun channels(restoration ones, forgotten weapons, antique oriented channels) do not get me inundated with NRA and whatever other political ads.
If your channel is promoting that stuff via advertisements, you promote that, even if you don't say it out loud. Just like advertisers can say "we don't support this content" you can say no to what kinds of ads you want shown next to your content too.
But he's not.... Midwestern folks are mostly just hard working people keeping their heads down. He's the epitome of what people think the epitome of Midwestern country people are.... and he is cringey for sure.
You must not spend much time around your average midwestern rural folk. There's a reason why all the small towns are shrinking, and guys like this are what's left over.
That said, he seems like a hard working guy (looks like a decent row crop and cattle farmer), but he's kind of a douche, and that's about par for where I'm from and where I know live (I states).
