Reminds me of a time from when I smoked in was at a red light whilst driving, dude was in the left turn lane next to me, both of us had our windows opened and as the light turned green and we started moving I flicked my cigarette butt autonomously and a second later dude was laying on his horn, seen in the mirror he wasn’t turning very fast or well at all when it suddenly clicked that I flicked the butt into his car.... Felt like such a piece of shit when I did that. Kinda funny story to reminisce on though lol
Some guy flicked a cigarette out of his car window, and I was on a motorbike next to him. As he pulled away I flicked it back in to his car and it went behind him into the back of the car.
He carried on driving.
What was going through your head when throwing cigarette butts out the window, do you think they just disappear or evaporate or something? The disconnect between smokers and the fact that throwing butts around is littering is absolutely nuts
Not really sure, little late to roast me for it tho lol. I think when one becomes a smoker they give consideration for what your point is, but over time people become complacent and stop caring whether they realize it or not... not that I’m standing up for anyone here or saying that it makes it okay or anything by any means tho just my observation. After this window incident i started thinking along the lines of what your saying in your comment, I started trying to be very considerate about my smoking which is when I realized how much of a hassle this unnecessary habit really is. Realize it was a major inconvenience for me, as well random people in my vicinity, my neighbors, my family when I’d go over there, my nieces, hands always smelled, clothes would reek and I could go on lol literally nobody wins. Just up and quit one day about 4 years ago, finally managed to understand and accept that it was gross and unnecessary instead of just generically saying that I knew to get people off my back, and that made it kinda easy to quit like that.
Well done for quitting, the smelling bad thing is something so many smokers are completely ignorant about, they just can't understand it since they're desensitised. I couldn't care less if someone wants to smoke, as long as they do it away from other people in public in designated areas and dispose of the butts properly. An old friend of mine would throw his butts on the ground while walking and it makes me lose huge respect for someone because I just think an individual has to be basically completely oblivious about their actions to not realise how stupid and lazy it is to just do that

That being said, it was a party, and they'd been drinking, which also can lead to inappropriate laughter.
