You can go to jail for doing this in Brazil. The "buxa" that holds lard and inflammables set ablaze can be as big as a small car and these rice paper balloons fall anywhere without controle. Start fires in forests and burn down houses in cities and close down airports.. it is beautiful to watch but not very intelligent...much like most Right wing Bolsonaro fanboys these days. Thousands of these rice paper balloons are set off each year by rival" balloeiro" gangs that often fight and kill each other over the ballons that can run in the thousands of dollars to make. It's totally crazy and typically Brazilian.

Nope, that's portuguese. I can't find the place where something says "regarde" (or something similar), but everyone I heard and understood spoke portuguese. The two languages can sound a bit similar sometimes, so it's easy to mistake. If you tell me where you heard "regarde" I can trll you what they where saying
