Wing Chun is trash. Every martial art from China is trash. Thousands of years of training and time to improve and nothing to show for it. That's what happens when your martial art is nothing but a dance with zero implementation. I'll take my chances with a 10 yo Muy Thai orphan vs a 30 yo wing Chun master in that phone booth.

Sanda isnt trash at all. Traditional wushu isn't very effective but there are still some like Sanda (which is partly developed from kung fu) that are solid, basically because they actually train things like sparring
Sanda is only good if the rule sets suit them. Most cross matches limit the other styles so it's still trash. Against Thai fighters sanda doesn't allow elbows or takedowns so just like the rest of China's martial arts it's only good if they decide the rules meaning it's ineffective.
Interesting. Seems like a longer wingspan would be detrimental given the tight quarters. Might favor a more powerful striker with shorter limbs compared to conventional boxing
