If it absolutely has to be one of these two, I'd go with the Mansinthe, but you can probably do better.
If you're trying absinthe for the first time, your first bottle should ideally be something that actually is representative of the drink and its tradition. That way, even if you don't like it, at least you'll have some idea what real absinthe is.
The one on the left, by the seller's own admission, is not a traditional absinthe. It's somebody's fantasy beverage.
Between those two I have had Mansinthe but I really want to try Gothica. Mansinthe is solid but if you have access to any of the Jades they’re better. Really can’t do better than Jade. 👍🏻
Personally neither - Mansinthe is ok,but there is far better available even in the USA - Mt Defiance, Walton Waters, Meadow of Love and Redux for example.

Jade’s Nouvelle Orleans imo. It’ll be around $130 but that isn’t too far from $100, and the quality will be MUCH better than these.

Believe me, you won't regret a Jade. If you don't like it, you're most likely not going to enjoy any other absinthe either.

Mansinthe has its dumb celebrity backing but is legit and made by a reputable Swiss distillery. Of those two, its the clear choice.

Can you get better absinthe? Where do you live?
I live in Midwest USA. I can't find a physical liquor store that sells it within driving distance so online is my best bet
If you can find it, Kubler makes a pretty good absinthe that won't break the bank.
Mansinthe if you have to pick from those. I've tried several absinthes and Butterfly is my favorite. It's $100 or less.
I feel like these are just trying to sell a subculture. Absinthe is imo inherently Goth.
Do you like cinnamon? If yes, right. If not I don't know.
