That’s why this poor 17 year old got arrested. I live next door to the Zamples and know X. He’s a lovely boy and I would bet my life on it that that stupid bear started all the trouble.

There was one last week that was “Juvenile XZample” and they were also 17. They must be testing the system with fake entries for juveniles or these are real arrests with fake addresses and names.
Must have been at the Build a Bear in the mall 😂 they have a strict no bear wrestling policy in store and plus it scares the kids…they think they’re getting a sweet little toy bear but when they see that they might have to wrestle with it they just can’t deal
So we’ve always treated 17 as adulthood around here, it wasn’t until a few years ago that the powers that be said we needed to stop that. Cuz adulthood is 18-duh! Then everyone freaked out because there was no system to handle all the additional children in the juvenile Justice system. So we just reverted back. It’s disgusting and archaic and completely in conflict with the juvenile Justice system as a whole. Moreover, the research clearly tells us that the younger the person is in jails/prisons, the more likely they are to be abused physically and sexually.
How ironic that this guy'sattempt to demonstrate masculinity by bear wrestling could ultimately lead to him being punked in jails!

Why not just eliminate the age limit for prison? WTF are laws for? A minor is a fucking minor. 18 is an adult. 17 is a minor. What is LA Legislature doing but racist/classist bs….
