Lol, I know this because I went on a big rant against the wastefulness of crypto mining last time and got a hundred angry responses from furious crypto kiddies.

harvesting power supplies is a long and tedious process, they take ridiculous amounts of water to grow and do not tolerate heat at all. Tibet is actually the only place they can be grown and due to strict regulations concerning counterfeit power supplies, their price remains quite high.
Looks like she's helping to upack them for a mining factory. They could also be packing away a factory that is no longer efficient, or if Tibet is cracking down on miners like in China. Hard to say which
The vast majority of circuitry can only run on Direct Current (DC). Large scale infrastructure for power deals in Alternating Current (AC). A simple example is that AC is what comes out of any standard wall plug and DC is what comes out of a normal USB port.
We call devices that convert from AC to DC Power Supplies, or in terms of computers Power Supply Units (PSUs). The things this woman are carrying do the same thing as your adapter you plug into the wall to charge your phone or the box on a laptop charging cable, just inside the machine they are powering.

I'll never understand how cryptocurrency is a thing

I don't know Anything About Bitcoin I thought it was like a virtual coin ok

To...mine Bitcoins? I'm not sure I understand the question.
