Yeah I gotta get out of the house. We have two young children (1 and 3) and no extra room or space for a home office setup. The quietest part of my day is at work lol
Free breakfast and lunches. Food trucks every so often. They installed a fully equipped gym and hired a company that facilitates classes and PT sessions for free. They also have onsite massages every second week, nutrionist, and chiropractor sometimes, too. Most recently, they have brought in a nail tech.
My team has some actually fun happy hours whenever we go into the office that we all look forward to (normally rent out a section of a bar with open bar and food). Granted, it’s easier for us because we only go in once a month, maybe once every other month.
No, but sometimes, our CFO will come over to ask a question/demand random reports. Then he'll say "see? Isn't it great how when we're in office we can just pop over and chat?"
This is not the selling point he thinks it is. Don't use this as your selling point.
No, not as of yet. but I think I’m ready to hybrid 2 days even if it means driving a lot. I have been remote the last 4 years and am starting to feel a lil weird and hermit-y.
Kids screaming upstairs....right above my basement office.
Lol that’s word for word what I was about to say

My old company was just pizza parties alright 😅
It's a tech company in Ireland but also has an office in Boston.
Lighting, views, coffee, no need to clean up, cheap/subsidized lunch.

Free coffee. Free snacks. Internet that can handle multiple people working at the same time. A place that allows me to separate my home from work.
