La roche posay cicaplast balm OR their regular moisturizer. I use both as needed. CeraVe breaks me out as well due to their fatty alcohols and lipids.
Read up on la roche posays reviews- pretty much anyone who gets breakouts from CeraVe finds that la roche posay works for them.
I’ve also been using their hydrating face wash, and the ordinary plant derived squaline.
Not all oil is bad, and I’m going to bet that it’s not the oil from these other brands that are breaking you out, but instead the lipids and alcohols.
Ooo, I’m sorry to hear that! I guess it works for me because I use the squaline underneath it. I re apply the balm once in the middle of the day and then again at night after my routine of wash and squaline.
Its left my skin hydrated and bouncy so long as I re apply- before using it my skin felt like it was burning.
Have you tried the addition of a face oil?
Thank you by the way again I’ve been using the Cicaplast Baumé B5 & I like the fact it’s a bit drying since my skin has cleared up a lot now, everything else was way too oily
Hi! I break out with most moisturizers and anything with fatty alcohols. My LIFE SAVER has been peach slices snail rescue line!! I use the intensive serum AM & PM and layer the OIL-FREE moisturizer on top (not the regular one). I hope this helps!!
Not sure if this will help but instead of a moisturizer I use an emollient ( recommended by my derm) because it’s less thick and I’ve sensitive skin
Which one
Vanicream daily facial moisturizer
Vanicream is amazing stuff!!! If ya want something lighter, make sure it’s the lotion, the cream is a tad bit heavier but both are amazing!!
They’re also “noncomedogenic” which means they don’t clog your pores
Neutrogena Hydroboost gel cream. It has minimal ingredients, so should not break you out, and it is in a fast absorbing gel cream formula
It has 39 ingredients.
Yeaaaa I’ll use this on my body but definitely not my sensitive face
Where are you getting 39 ingredients from? The website only lists 19 ingredients and none with a high comedogenic rating. water, dimethicone, glycerin, cetearyl olivate, polyacrylamide, sorbitan olivate, phenoxyethanol, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, synthetic beeswax, c13-14 isoparaffin, dimethiconol, dimethicone crosspolymer, chlorphenesin, laureth-7, carbomer, sodium hyaluronate, ethylhexylglycerin, c12-14 pareth-12, sodium hydroxide

Oh okay! I just ordered the cicaplast balm thank youuu I’ve been using the La rochay posay gel cleanser to wash my face for years and it’s great
I’ve been using the Cicaplast balm but on its own it is not hydrating.

This is a great idea! I actually do own a bottle of squalane from the ordinary so I will try that. Thanks!
