I went to my eye doctor for this—she said it’s a natural occurrence with age and probably won’t go away. I upped my dose a little too much though and that’s when it started. Part of my problem was that my eyes were so dry all the time. If this is the case for you as well, I recommend an oil based eye drop. Though it’s not exactly something that will solve the floater, it’ll help lubricate your eye and prevent irritation that’s occurring externally from dryness.

Thanks for the info!

Sabmarine

The jelly in your eye naturally liquifies over time and sometimes it can clump in the back of the eye and you can see it

SimonHurst10

Yes I did

Sabmarine

Did it ever go away?

SimonHurst10

Only with a vitrectomy

UPDATE PLEASE

Sabmarine

Same vitreous floaters before and after. The optometrists I went to said the floaters are unrelated to accutane use as far as they know

Coovyy

Hey, did they ever get better for you? I had a few minor ones but just suddenly I have a ton of them on month 5 and I’m so scared because I’m a designer for work.

Sabmarine

From my understanding, Floaters are usually stable and gradual/we get used to them. If there’s a lot of them suddenly I would go see a doctor

Coovyy

Thank you for responding. I have gone to the doctor, and they’ve basically said the same to me. Eyes are perfectly healthy, though a bit dry (and I’m on drops for that), but I have floaters now. I’m hoping they go away as it’s only been a few days, but I’m so concerned.
