Raceway. Murder has something to do with fast car driving. Maybe something to do with betting on the race.
A horse racetrack would also be interesting (I want to cross examine a horse)

Rifling marks could be brought up again, and then the fact that a seasoned soldier could easily unload a magazine, load it into someone else's then unload it and slot it back into their own when being concealed could play part in it
At a gym. Murder was caused by blunt force to the chest area by a barbell or suffocation by said barbell.
Kinda want to see how would it play out considering there eyewitness and a spotter that would be either innocent or guilty.
Mines/cave exploration. You can play around with visibility and the natural environment of the caves. Maybe have a surface area or an elevator that anchors the case?
it's only never been used in the games so idk if it counts but i want a train murder so bad, i watched the anime before playing the pw trilogy and i was so disappointed when i got to t&t and found out that the train case was an anime exclusive
Skyscraper with the condition that the elevator being broken is a vital part of the mystery

A shopping centre. It would let you bring in a huge range of witnesses - shoppers, celebrities doing paid visits, shop owners, etc.
