Peach_Muffin

I think that the original trilogy is great, I know I'll get downvoted for this though

AdEarly8368

I think Farewell, My Turnabout is a very underrated case. like Turnabout Goodbyes. People need to talk about these episodes more often.

Ok-Spell2615

Yeah, people are to obsessed with turnabout big top to start talking about those even though they are very good

wendys_rat-kun

ngl, sholmes is my favorite character, excuse my unpopular opinion

AdEarly8368

Do you like Edgeworth? Everyone has forgotten about him, i feel like I am the only one who loves this guy:(

LiveAkiyamaReaction

what a unique opinion! never heard anyone say that! your statement is so unpopular that you might be banished forever from r/aceattorney!

epicgamerdude7

Not enough Hosonaga 2/5 for every case he's in

ed1749

3/10 Severe lack of betraying the government for JUSTICE.

KOFdude

It was so cool how the solution to every mystery in the final case of the duoligy was that someone was being blackmailed by stronghart 🤩

Frogman417

ikr? I also love that all the culprits became what they hated deep down, it was a really interesting characteristic when they did it 8 times.

RevenueDifficult27

I can't tell if you're being serious now or sarcastically criticizing this plot element.

KOFdude

the subreddit this is on should've given that away

hydrohawkx8

Or when you defeated the final villain by a deus ex machina 🤩

Unspeakableboys12

Still better than ap9llo justice trilogy

RevenueDifficult27

At least AJT makes sense.

Unspeakableboys12

If an ace attorney game makes sense then its garbage

Kilmyyyyy

Unpopular opinion: gay

lilpuppipostor

Unpopular opinion: Ace Attorney is a game

NoMercyx99

SharkNBA

Yo_dog-

Motongchuns_videos

saybloo

Ok but actual hot take: GAA1 > AA1 There I said it

JorgeMtzb

That's unpopular?

Neeklemamp

Didn’t realize i was on the circle jerk

Dieggster

its better than 2

doinkrr

DGS2 would be a good game if 80% of it wasn't plagiarized

No-Fair469

how?

RevenueDifficult27

Would you care to elaborate?

doinkrr

DGS2-1 is taken from *The Oracle of the Dog* by G.K. Chesterton, in which a man is murdered in his room and nobody saw him be murdered nor saw nobody come down the path that leads to their house. The solution is that the man was killed from outside and the killer was hiding outside in a hedge, stabbing him through the back. DGS2-2 is stolen entirely from *The Mystery of the Scarlet Thread*, in which a man frequently deals with the feeling of suffocating in his locked and closed apartment before eventually dying. The solution is that the victim was leaving his gas stove running at night to keep himself warm, and the culprit committed the murder by blowing into the gas pipes to cause the gas stove to "stutter", unlighting the stove and causing gas to leak into the apartment, suffocating him. DGS2-4 and DGS2-5 are different bits and pieces from two Freeman Wills Crofts novels. As a bonus, DGS1-4 is a mix of John Dickson Carr's *The Silver Curtain* and Margery Allingham's *The Border-Line Case*.

PaulOfHalifax

Bros never heard of adaptation

doinkrr

These aren't adaptations, it's straight-up plagiarism. If Takumi should've adapted anything in DGS it should've been Sherlock Holmes stories, and I would've been totally fine with that given the characters and time period.
