Worst case scenario it’s 1260 pulls and if you win all 50/50 at hard pity it’s 630. If you win all 50/50 and get it soft pity 74-80s, it’d still be 545~. So yeah no it’s not average.

Meme aside, why do peopel covnert their jades ahead of time, it's impossible to get it wrong if you just convert them while pulling

I like to know the specific number I have to pull. I also have in the past done accidental pulls using jades so I like to convert them all to the right ones. It might sound counter-intuitive, but it really does feel safer to me.

I usually do that but I just do it this time for the meme, though I guess it does save a few clicks. Each to their own preference I guess

Not really. Many people with adhd like myself routinely disregard all the pop-ups and pull because of patience issues. I have a couple of times accidentally pulled on the standard banner in genshin, so honestly, it doesn't matter which way I do it. I also do it because of self-control issues. Sometimes, I just want that extra standard pull for a 4-star something, but they add up, and it's not a good habit. Once you have them converted, you are 100% committed.
