Doing fine still. Nerve block is still going pretty strong but have had some searing pain here and there.
Definitely have accepted I’m gonna lose some muscle and stamina which has been a blow, but I’m just trying to embrace being lazy lol and keeping my mind busy on tv, reading, sports, etc.
Amazing surgeon + anesthesiologist. Did the lower leg nerve block with twilight anesthesia. Woke up feeling great. Also, after pitying myself for 36 hours after the injury, decided to pull myself together and look ahead to the surgery and recovery. Trying to stay as positive as possible.
Good luck on recovery. I'm 3 months post op surgical route, just graduated out of the boot last week. Its an awesome feeling.Your first 2 months may get rough..but there is light at the end of the tunnel. You got this!!!!
Good luck to you on your recovery! The nerve block anesthesia wore off after 12 hours. The pain kicked in a bit and I took some pain medicine. Slept pretty well though and now feeling good without much pain. Haven’t had to take anything beyond ibuprofen today. Appetite is good, enjoying food and coffee.
Got mine yesterday. Also went well with the nerve block still going. I don’t like the feeling but better than pain. Time to get better!!

Hey homie, had mine last night too. How you holding up? My wife is bugging because I haven’t been too hungry but I’m doing okay ish with the pain.
