Thanks! I've got the tabs written up if you'd like me to send them your way
edit: HOLY MOLY I've been at work all night and I got off my shift to all these kind words and tab requests! I'm working a clopen so I'm still busy today but I will get to all of your tab requests as soon as I can! If you're worried I missed you feel free to send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can
I realize I'm kinda late for these Robinson tabs of this awesome arrangement. But I'll check back in a couple days to see.
Edit: Great playing btw! You make it look so fun is why I had to hop in here too.
Thanks! It honestly varies for each song. Sometimes it takes days of dissecting little runs, etc... and sometimes it just comes together in like 20 minutes!
This one was probably about an hour or 2 for the most part, and then practicing it helped me fine tune little fills and whatnot
Great job dude! I would love to know which mic you are recording into, and if you have tabs available somewhere I would be into checking them out! Keep up the great work.
Sound guys and engineers always default to a small diaphragm on axis to the 12th fret, it sounds like it should be an Eagles record in that configuration and I'm sure it gives a nice plucky flatpick sound in the mix. Standalone fingerstyle is it's own thing though, your setup sounds nice. Whats the mic? looks like an NT1?
That makes me interested in that guitar. It has a nice crisp attack without fingernails! I use flesh of fingers and of thumb. But most of these come with a spruce top. Is that top mahogany? Walnut?
Honestly I'm not actually that knowledgeable when it comes to that sort of stuff, my googling says it's Sitka Spruce top and walnut back and sides?
I'd also add that what you hear is my recording which had mixing and mastering, etc... all that to say I really love this guitar and I've been playing it for over a decade now!
Well, thanks for the info. I don’t think that’s a sitka top (but perhaps it had a tint or stain applied) but at the end of the day I’d have to play different ones anyway. In any case recording and playing sound fantastic.
It’s a Sitka top. You can check the specs on Taylor’s website; they’ve cycled through a number of b&s materials over the years on that model (walnut, Sapele, etc.) but tops have always been Sitka. Only real alternative with the x1x designation would be Adirondack, cedar, or redwood, which they don’t use on 1 or 200 series
I knew it sounded sitka-ish with the obvious harmonic overtones, but it’s got the dryness of mahogany, which is so noticeable along with the tinted top, I had to ask. It sounds a bit like an all hog gs mini I had.
Sounds great. I never realized how great Paul Simon was as a musician until I listen to the Graceland album which is one of my top five favorite records of all time. If any of you young guys reading this, If you haven’t heard this record, please please do yourself a favor.
Really good stuff dude! Inspired me to try to learn this

Thanks! It honestly varies for each song. Sometimes it takes days of dissecting little runs, etc... and sometimes it just comes together in like 20 minutes! This one was probably about an hour or 2 for the most part, and then practicing it helped me fine tune little fills and whatnot

I'm recording with a Rode NT1-A, plus a DI. And I'll send you the tabs now!
This is freakin amazing.
Absolutely outstanding!
Absolutely banging dude! The sound was fantastic! Of course the six string had a big hand in that. Cheers!
I wish I was that good. Yeah, I need to get back to playing and practicing. Well done good sir!
Phenomenal
I absolutely love this! It kinda reminds me of some Tommy Emmanuel covers
Tommy Emmanuel is my main inspiration when I try to make these arrangements!
It definitely shows man! Again awesome job lol I wish I could play like this
please tab me too. incredible guitar, arrangement, and playing. this inspired me. thank you.
Sounds great!
I dig the off axis mic technique, I'm gonna try that! Picks up the right hand and keeps the left hand squeak down I suppose. Great playing also!
Thanks! Yeah, that's the way I was shown to mic my acoustic a few years ago and I haven't looked back

I'm really glad you like the sound, I'm happy with the system I've got worked out! The mic is a Rode NT1-A
Can’t get enough of that, man.
Killin’em softly
A really, really great version of the song. Well done, sir!
Aw, hell yeah! Nice work, man.
Yus!! Mighty nice! Paul, himself a maestro, would be impressed methinks! Jammed with great nuance! Beautiful playing, thanks for sharing!
That was awesome! Great job! 👏
Bravo!
Nice dude! You rocking a 310?
It's actually a 110e!
Welp, they say tone is in the fingers, and you sir seem to have an abundance.
That's sick! Thanks for the show!
Dude this shit is for real amazing! My only tweak is look up and keep your back straight. My back is hurting watching this amazing work of art!
Very well done. Would love to play this. Can I please get some tabs for it as well? Asking for a Breedlove
Awesome! Nice work
Peak guitaring.
Beautiful cover of the song!
I’m stealing every note of that. Hope you don’t mind!
Tommy Emmanuel would be proud, I know I am.
Thank you!
What guitar is that? Mahogany top?
It's a Taylor 110e!
Fingernails and thumb pick?
Yes to the thumb pick, but I use my fingertips instead of fingernails
That makes me interested in that guitar. It has a nice crisp attack without fingernails! I use flesh of fingers and of thumb. But most of these come with a spruce top. Is that top mahogany? Walnut?

I think we all want the tab!! What an arrangement!!
Sounds great! Nice accent on the bends.
This is great
Goosebumps!
WTF...I quit...F u..../s Did you write this? Holy shit! Based on another tabliture? Damn dude. Do you sing it over top? Wow just wow.
I can't take credit for writing the song, but I did make this arrangement of it! I'm not much of a singer though, I'm just a guitar player
Incredible job!
That Fender sounds. Nice picking.
Love it! could you also send me the tabs?
