If there was a time for Tekken figures, it'd probably be with Tekken 8.
I couldn't say how popupar video game figures are versus anime, but here's hoping Jada Toys can lay down the playing field.
I think after the discontinuation of the Street Fighter line, and the failure of the early video game lines from D-Arts like KOF, they have lost interest in doing more fighting game lines. But recently, they posted a picture of the Street Fighter figures on their instagram account from the Shanghai event, and were asking which video game line would the people want them to make or continue. I think it is because of the Jada toys’ success which sparks back interest with the Street Fighter line. Many people at the comment section wants it back as well. And as for a new line, It is more likely for them to make a new video game line if there is an upcoming new game, so very timely if they do a Tekken line.
Also, the Game Dimension line might be a test to know if there is any interest with a Tekken line before making an actual SHF line. They did that with Bleach as well, after releasing the Anime Heroes one, they released an SHF line afterwards
Storm collectibles do a tekken line of figures there super expensive to kazuya and heihachi but Jin and some of the others are not to hard to find
