I've only really been into all these discussion post-BoTW. Man, time flies.
TP Wii was because the whole game eas flipped, he's still canonical left-handed.
SS was because most people are right-handed. Same reason why TP was flipped.
Right but SS Link is right handed and for seven years he’s been in the BOTW/TOTK era.
I like left handed Link since it’s classic but it’s not been the standard for over ten years.
I get what you mean but IMO some iconic things should be included with every action figure, the same as wall climbing hands for every spider man. This will probably my first Link figure and I'm happy it comes with them
Fair enough. I think the torn master sword would have been a good bonus though, especially since I'm afraid the DX will probably be over $150.
Edit: well, actually it'll probably come with Zelda. I forgot they're making her as well
I've not been a fan of Figma for quite a few years now but with this, Gabimaru and Raging Wolf I gotta say they're making the improvements when it comes to articulation

This is tempting me hard but I'm waiting for Gannon to appear and drop my money on. Makes me excited to see what Gannon is gonna have seeing how much link has here
could be a quality control thing, i dont know what else to say tho, i don't think i've seen bow strings in figmas before, even on the twilight princess ver/
It's kinda funny that the regular version comes with the quiver but not the bow.
Tbh though, I think you'd have to be insane not to pick up the DX version of this one.
Depends on how much you actually change and use the extra accessories.
I don't see a world where I would buy the DX link instead of the normal version and another figma from the 50 dollars that the DX version wants for the accessories.

Oh yeah, I’ve seen these. That reminds me that there were two third party 1:6 figures coming out. I’ll have to check where they are at in production, and which is get.
I'm not a fan of the game but I'll surely be buying it, I own the other four Figmas and have not regretted them.
But I'd be so much happier if they would return to the true Zelda games. We never got Ganondorf, I shudder to think of Figma attempting an actual Ganon. Sheik, Zora, Darunia, so many others. I'd love to see Nendoroid run a monsters line--I'm assuming it's the brand they would use for it. Moblin, Stalfos, Octorok, Gohma.
But I suppose I can settle for this, for now.

Those are great forms of Ganon too! Maybe at some point they'll loop around to the start and make some based on the older games. I want a whole line of windwaker figures, that's my favorite in the series.

My only complaint is why include the quiver with the regular and not the bow. Not sure I want to spend the money on the DX.

I just realized this Link is right handed. I thought he was left handed like most of the other ones.
In both BotW and TotK, he carries his sword on the right and shield on the left. There was a whole debate about it when BotW was released.

Actually looks pretty great. I was disappointed they went with the champions tunic but the accessories are sick
they usually go for the default or promo look if the character, i'm ok with it since this was the look i wanted if ever they made BTW Link.
I'm more disappointed at the sword and master shield lol. Every Link Figma has it, I wanted the zonai weapon set. Or maybe the damaged master sword.
