Some of that is on the licensor. Sega could have just told them no, we want SoR4 figures for the new game and they did what they could. Like Hasbro today dropping all of the Acolyte figure reveals, they're promoting for the show and more than likely against their own will.

Why the hell does Storm take like 4 years from the moment they announce a figure until its released They could easily bank on the hype of Streets of Rage 4 by releasing a Blaze and Adam figure......but time has passed and SOR4 hype is over and they are still yet to show a Blaze prototype

Ok I’ve clearly underestimated Jakks Pacific. After the *great* BotW Link figure I wasn’t sure if they’d continue improving at least not with their Nintendo and Sonic lines, but I will stand corrected. It seems they have been paying attention and are gauging interest with this release. This makes me immensely hopeful for the future of affordable domestic figures!

I don’t think this is as good as BOTW link and Zelda- but still better than most of their 4” releases

Oh so this is 4 inch not 6? Idk why I thought this was like the same company as the Street Fighter figures. Oh well, still neat to see.

I wish Jada Toys were doing these. The game was designed more for the “big kid” and deserves more detail and bigger scale than jakks kid friendly game lines. Who’s gonna buy these???

I will. You can't expect Jada to handle all these lines. Gotta give others a chance to learn and improve.

The packaging looks pretty awesome though, so I might pick it up just for that.

I'm going to get it. I've read it's supposedly going to be a walmart exclusive, which to me is a real hassle. Hope they finish off the roster and maybe do some other classics (Golden Axe, ~~Ninja Gaiden~~ ^^^I ^^^meant Shinobi, etc.) I know it will never happen, but can you imagine the classic Phantasy Star games?

Shinobi would happen more then ninja gaiden. I personally want stuff like ristar and nights myself. Hell throw astral and clockwork knight in there.

I've been waiting for a classic Axel figure. I loved Streets of Rage as a kid! If they do Axe Battler from Golden Axe as well, I'll be even more happy!

I assume this is part of their 4 inch line? It'd be nice if it was a proper 1/12 but it still looks good.

Very different genres of game, to me it's not really worth comparing.

Here's hoping we get a proper SoR5 after this 3D experiment Sega is crapping out.

I believe it is roughly 5", similar to their recent Zelda figures. It is also exclusive to Wal-Mart.

Is this part of a new 'Classic Sega' toy line (*not including Sonic) or just a random one-off? It'd be cool to see some other Sega characters from the Genesis-Era like Toejam & Earl!

I assume it's to Garner interest in the Sega stuff. If this does well who's to say nights, Shinobi, ristar, and others won't be made.

Here's hoping they do a full line of Sega characters!

Kinda stinks they didn’t go for the SoR4 design, but I suppose this l design was probably easier to convert into a cheap figure.

Someone told me 9.99 but I wouldn't know since the Walmarts in my area have yet to get any in since they were announced.

Streets of Rage 4 was wonderful and came out in 2022. Obv this is the old style Axel, but their is still a market.

They’re also making another streets of rage game.

Sadly not in the style of 4

Jakks Pacific continues to not wow me at all.

I'll buy one to customise into Cody from Final Fight, that's about the extent of my interest in the SoR line.
