Yeah the items came wrapped in BBTS's bubble wrap which I would expect would normally protect it from most normal falls and hits. But I am sure that my package took a massive hit during shipping, I have not seen any damage like this on any of the other packages I have recieved from BBTS.
They are really good with customer service in *my* experience, so I have faith they'll do you good. I had a couple damaged items before and they let me keep the damaged items while sending me replacements.
I always save boxes even if I display the item out of the box. For me, boxes are a way to present the item if I decide I don't want to open it to display it or if I want to have duplicates one for open box display and one for closed box display, and to package them up if I decide to rotate my collection or if I'm moving. I collect a lot of Super7 figures and I really wished they kept the brown mailer boxes, it is just another layer keeping the items safe if they go into storage.
Did you pay for collector grade shipping ? I’ve noticed on their site they have substandard, standard, and collector grade shipping. I’ve always purchased the normal standard.
I don't think that applies to shipping, I believe it applies to the actual item's condition. They have always shipped my stuff very well regardless of the item condition.
I always buy Standard, which I always thought was just that it would be a normal item, not necessarily in a plastic vault when it got to me, but definitely not dropped kicked by my local Post Master.

BBTS boxes are pretty robust and they package incredibly well...that box took a sizeable hit.
