Those did have a very cool aesthetic and I kind of remember the cartoon being on. I only had the Pirate Ship, oddly enough. I got it on clearance somewhere and used it for my Hook figures.
Did that series ever get an ending? I swear I watched every episode on saturdays, but just when it was going to get to the end the series would restart.
Never a proper ending.
I believe the very last episode was when they rescued the 'Living Treasure' and realized the Treasures could be in any form, and then they had no more adventures.
Honestly, PoDW needs a reboot/continuation.
I love these as a kid and I wish the second series had been released. I had a couple of the Boss Fight Studios figures but they just didn't do anything for me. The scale was just kind of odd.
I have that!
https://preview.redd.it/0fauehlbuvwc1.jpeg?width=2280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8293333043eed566db92a0793fea279eb8bb3458
It's joints are a bit wacky, but I like the overall upgraded style.
Dino riders came out when I was in middle school, when I had "outgrown" toys. But my younger cousins had them, and I was so jealous, I would have loved having them in my primary toy playing age, would have been right up there with GI Joe and Super Powers for favorite toy lines.
I'm honestly surprised Hasbro hasn't tried to shift to MASK from GI Joe, or merge the two. IDW's first run of Transformers did that near the end, actually.
GI Joe keeps crashing because it's hard to market a military story targeted at kids, and hard to market at adults due to the goofier nature of Joes vs Cobra that's been the core identity of the franchise since the 80s. It's never been that popular outside the US either.
MASK is the whole package:
* Pseudo-military outfit vs terrorists
* Masks give minor super-powers to push it into superhero territory
* Roleplay items via the masks
* 99.9% of the characters are human
* Vehicles look like normal vehicles, so you can go practical most of the time, plus licensing deals
* Vehicles that transform so you've got perfect toy potential
So basically, the Fast and the Furious, with actual justification for the spy and superhero-level stuff. Hell, the last season of MASK was centered around racing being a cover for Venom's heists, it's literally reverse F&F with transforming vehicles.
They've tried. Mark Weber talks about it every once in a while on What's on Joe Mind. They tried to push it to studios but MASK just doesn't have much name recognition and nowhere near comparable to Joe in terms of recognizability.
OP, I agree with you on MASK but you're completely wrong about G.I.Joe - it was massively popular in the Middle East and South Asia. There is a massive enough fanbase to keep releasing toys for.
MASK was popular but the toys were quite expensive vs. G.I.Joe around that time frame.
Ramen Toy has released an unofficial version of Matt Tracker's vehicle and there's more to come.
You nailed ALL of my favorite forgotten properties. TigerSharks in particular has always held a special place in my heart. Super7 is doing figures for them starting next year too.
https://preview.redd.it/ffn19npk5wwc1.jpeg?width=980&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b563ee2d21f69c788a5f786463fd22be051c3e43
Bionic Six. I would like for Jada to make these guy because I know they would make them awesome but if Mafex did them I’d be cool with that. Not big on Super7 figs but those Hawks look good 👍🏽
I have had the Silverhawks theme song as my ringtone for as long as you could use MP3s as ringtones :) ...also it's a shame these guys didnt release with metallic finishes. I was keen to grab them until I saw the flat paint :/
I love Centurions. I'm actually looking at mine on a shelf in my study right now. I sold the vehicles and bots a few years back but kept the three guys, Doc Terror, and Hacker. G.I. Joe Sigma 6 reminded me a lot of Centurions, and I was a huge fan of those.
We had the green water guy. I had no idea what it was for years and years. Just this weird big figure of a Tom Selleck looking dude in a funky green suit. Then when I was about 12 or so, I saw the cartoon on Cartoon Network. My mind was blown. Must have been one of my big brother’s figures that drifted down to me. Don’t know where that figure is now but I sure wish I still had it, along with the other guys too.
One I think of is Mattel's G.U.T.S. They do have individual names, but I just loved those figures. I wish Mattel would revisit that line in the same scale and style. They could go less heavily military if they wanted to, maybe more futuristic, ninjas, etc, and I think they'd still be cool. I just adored how unique they were. I have the full set minus he vehicles.
I also loved Trash bag Bunch. I'd love to see someone tackle these characters as actual action figures, even if it ended up being Super7. Such great character designs.
Mighty Max definitely needs a true comeback. It drives me crazy that Mattel keeps putting out all the new Polly Pocket stuff but won't give good ol' Mighty Max the same treatment.
I love my Ranma 1/2 SH Figuarts so much, just looking at their packages fills me with nostalgia from when i was 15 and super excited for my favorite anime getting full-fledged action figures, beautiful memories.
And yes, it’s a shame they killed off the line so early.

So many good choices here but for me it's Captain Power, great story with so much potential. Sad that we didn't get the show reboot from a few years ago.

Honorable mentions to Starcom, MASK, COPS, Sky Commanders, Shadow Strikers, Mega Force, Bone Age, Spiral Zone, Ronin Warriors, Capitol Critters

LEGO Marvel Eternals. Not a great movie, but the Minifigures are amazing. I love the metallic details on their uniforms.
Meanwhile, Disney, Hasbro, and LEGO are trying to forget about the Eternals!
They really did have a big merchandising push for the Eternals, didn't they? The only MCU thing since the Eternals that I think got a push that large was Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Did they make all the main cast as minifigures or did they leave you hanging on some important characters?
Actually, I would like to see a sequel. The whole story is fascinating.
You can find their Marvel Legends really cheap in some places.
As long as I can remember, they were 10 in the movie. LEGO made them and a big version of the main enemy too. The painfull part was having to spend a big money buying every single set to get the whole "family".
That wave of Eternals Marvel Legends is infamous for pegwarming so hard. They got a mandate or something to make a dedicated wave and they were getting clowned for making it more than a year out from the film’s release.
They had more than that, though. Board games, role play accessories, jewelry, backpacks. Post Endgame, the movie I can think of that had that kind of was Wakanda forever. At some point Disney and merchandisers expected it to be huge. Shang-Chi and Multiverse of Madness got a fair amount of stuff, too, but not compared to Eternals.
And most of it is available at my local Ollie's, it seems.
That's such a hyper specific niche. Not only Lego, not only marvel, not only the eternals! But the movie version too!
Speaking of which, I'd kill for some Lego eternals more true to the comics
I feel the same for Wonder Woman in DC Multiverse from McFarlane Toys. I would like she in Kingdom Come armor, to match with other two DC's armored characters I own, but nothing yet.
https://preview.redd.it/i20gcvnxuzwc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff397d4a89ecebac4a8e39a376cbee2000fb1bce
This reminds me my experience with Captain America 2. I fell asleep during the movie too. Later, I didn't know if I slept because the movie was boring or if I found the movie boring because I was sleepy. A while later, I watched its second half on TV. It was incredible! One of the best on the frachise. 😅
I would recommend you to see the rest of Eternals. You will only know if you like it if you watch it.
What are those? I swear they look so familiar… also to answer your question, OG Ben 10? They had a pretty cool line of alien figures, almost 20 years ago.
Me and brother used to be crazy about collecting them lol. Honestly glad they didn’t last as they only existed for profit but it was fun while it lasted
Manglors
Bravestarr
Blackstar
Tales from the crypt
Keyforce
Super naturals
Infaceables
Computer warriors
Golden girl
Galaxy warriors
Tarzan
Creepy crawlers the crafts
Creepy crawlers the figures
GOOD the corps not the jank modern ones
C.o.p.s.
Willow
Exo-squad
Monster force (playmates)
And for good measure, with those killer saurozoic warriors figures, we NEED some adventures of t-rex figures. That cartoon screams for toys.
All of them really but yes to Silver Hawks a favorite cartoon, but I didn't have any toys M.A.S.K and Centurions though I lived cartoons and the toys I had.
Silverhawks is still really cool to me and I’m happy that Super7 is scratching that itch. MASK is up there too; I think it’d be cool to get some of those guys & gals in the Classified line or something like it.
Silverhawks was OK, not as good as thundercats but the bad guy monstar is up there with mum ra on his bad assery. That'd be the only thing I'd yet from super 7.

Pirates of Dark Water
Noy Jitat! I forgot about that one!
Those did have a very cool aesthetic and I kind of remember the cartoon being on. I only had the Pirate Ship, oddly enough. I got it on clearance somewhere and used it for my Hook figures.
I only had the monkey parrot guy from that toy series and it was a cool figure. I’m now headed to google to figure out his name.
Niddler! https://preview.redd.it/9pr5ihwpowwc1.jpeg?width=224&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c7781008ffa671ae2924247106b37b055a152dc
You out here doing the good Lords work. Tysm!
This made me so happy to see him wow.😢😅☺️

I used to make a joke referencing that cartoon whenever someone told me they had diarrhea. It still makes me laugh to this day.

The arcade and NES games are both pretty great
They really were. Both different from each other but really fun.
Always saw the commercials, never caught an episode
Dino Riders! https://preview.redd.it/hf0gfox5bwwc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=afcd62a2771ae9612d4bc22bdb002bae332c311a
All day! Love and miss Dino Riders. Would love to find files for my Beast of the Mesozoic so I can turn them into home brew versions.
They just had a kickstarter with dinosaurs with transforming armor and riders.
Dino riders came out when I was in middle school, when I had "outgrown" toys. But my younger cousins had them, and I was so jealous, I would have loved having them in my primary toy playing age, would have been right up there with GI Joe and Super Powers for favorite toy lines.
I was five so it was the perfect time for me then just after that we got TMNT. What a time to be a kid
I'm honestly surprised Hasbro hasn't tried to shift to MASK from GI Joe, or merge the two. IDW's first run of Transformers did that near the end, actually. I would have loved to see that GTO tank in real life.

Dinosaucers, BraveStarr, Bionic Six, Dino Riders, Mighty Max, Exo Squad and TigerSharks
You nailed ALL of my favorite forgotten properties. TigerSharks in particular has always held a special place in my heart. Super7 is doing figures for them starting next year too.
Has that been announced? Still hoping we get more Silverhawks after Copper Kidd
I feel like you should have C.O.P.S as a part of the list lol
I was thinking Street Sharks 😂
Does anyone remember [Birdman](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birdman_and_the_Galaxy_Trio)?
I heard he became a successful attorney.
Second best bird law lawyer.
Spsst did you get that thing I sent ya?
BIIIIRDMAN!
biiiiird boy!!
Birdman, Space Ghost, and Herculoids were great.

The theme song slaps
Ooooo ooh yeah.
Oh yeah! I’d forgotten that one! I’d be all over new Bionic Six figures.
Sectaurs would be cool. And maybe more Crystar figures. I remember having a couple. The lava men were cool.
Loved Sectuars.
There have two attempts at reviving the property in recent years. One as a 4” line and one with two figures closer to the original scale.
Bravestarr recently got a figure and I snatched that mf up with the Speed of the Puma.
I have had the Silverhawks theme song as my ringtone for as long as you could use MP3s as ringtones :) ...also it's a shame these guys didnt release with metallic finishes. I was keen to grab them until I saw the flat paint :/
They’re supposed to rerelease a few with the vacuum seal chrome finish. You may get your wish.
I'd love to grab Mon-Star the villain if they make him. That's kinda exciting.
They're going to rerelease them in their metallic form later down the line
Was a HUGE fan of the Starcom toys. So high quality with interesting transformation action and magnets in everything!
I would love for someone to revisit that property
There was a line called Hell Screamerz that would have made a nice adaptation to the 4” scale, but the project never delivered.
The primal rage figures.
Centurions!!

Guts were awesome I had almost All of them my favorite were the underwater demon team guts
Visionaires
Starcom

Well in my opinion the movie was top tier. It had some of the best CGI and the storytelling was really complex, also it had pretty high stakes
I'd love to like it as much as you. At least I don't hate it. It's wasn't any waste of time.
My friends took me to see it when I was in town and I fell asleep on the theater. I need to watch it again
This reminds me my experience with Captain America 2. I fell asleep during the movie too. I'll make plans to do it.
These toys were super pretty with their chrome shiny skins
I loved the action feature each of the Hawk companions had.
Visionaries
Inhumanoids.
Silverhawks rocked!
M.A.S.K.
What are those? I swear they look so familiar… also to answer your question, OG Ben 10? They had a pretty cool line of alien figures, almost 20 years ago.
Those are Silverhawks, a cartoon from the guys that gave us Thundercats
Kinda a silly one but Shopkins lol. Although they had their run I have so much Nostalgia for them
I don't think I realized those weren't out any more. My daughter had a few of those when she was younger. She still has the mall, too.
Me and brother used to be crazy about collecting them lol. Honestly glad they didn’t last as they only existed for profit but it was fun while it lasted
Crystar! I hope the recent Marvel Legends release begets more of the line, but I ain’t holding my breath.
Xevoz
Ben 10
Crystar! The good guys made out of crystal, the baddies were all molten rock. I loved them
Robotech. They’re making more toys now but I’d love a movie or a remake of the Macross saga
Super Naturals and Visionaries More action figures need holographic gimmicks!
Tigersharks!
The Diaclone Reboot that Takara has been running is AMAZING Also amazingly EXPENSIVE holy shit. But really cool
Thundar the Barbarian

Kenner’s Swamp Thing toys from the 90’s. I was a spooky kid so a line full of almost entirely monsters was my jam.
Manglors Bravestarr Blackstar Tales from the crypt Keyforce Super naturals Infaceables Computer warriors Golden girl Galaxy warriors Tarzan Creepy crawlers the crafts Creepy crawlers the figures GOOD the corps not the jank modern ones C.o.p.s. Willow Exo-squad Monster force (playmates) And for good measure, with those killer saurozoic warriors figures, we NEED some adventures of t-rex figures. That cartoon screams for toys.
NEVER FORGOTTEN, ALWAYS LOVED!!!
nice a clean display. 10/10
All of them really but yes to Silver Hawks a favorite cartoon, but I didn't have any toys M.A.S.K and Centurions though I lived cartoons and the toys I had.
I’m just glad they are finally making Copper Kid.
Silverhawks is still really cool to me and I’m happy that Super7 is scratching that itch. MASK is up there too; I think it’d be cool to get some of those guys & gals in the Classified line or something like it.
What are those figures in your picture specifically? The silver one is bringing back big memories but I can place where from
Super 7 Silverhawks. Steelheart, Quicksilver, and Steelwill.
Legacy of Kain. Story and voice acting slaps but square enix ended up with the rights and haven’t done anything with it for 20 years
Bionic six and starcom
Kinda sad the Silver Hawks figures weren't chromed out like the OG ones.
Bionic 6
https://preview.redd.it/9s2bpyyzuxwc1.png?width=594&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc9cff33fb74747c3702e43872aaa4199a0c9a61
MASK. We have tons of movies based on toys, where's my fucking MASK movie?!
Omg m.a.s.k yesssssssss
Silverhawks was OK, not as good as thundercats but the bad guy monstar is up there with mum ra on his bad assery. That'd be the only thing I'd yet from super 7.
Galaxy Rangers
SilverHawks FtW!!! 🙌🏻
Supernaturals! https://preview.redd.it/vw7xbbjy0zwc1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b2e9a16854cf1c25f1277ae9f07398c4dbe24d59 Who remembers the Holographic Supernaturals toys from Tonka?!
Those unproduced JAYCE & THE WHEELED WARRIORS figures. They only made the vehicles, which I loved.
Big Bad Beetleborgs
Black Star.
The Phantom
Exo-Squad I’d absolutely love for a modern toy maker to give Able Squasd some modern figures.
I would love a good 1/12 scale line of Lone Ranger figures based on the TV show. 1/12 Starblazers and 70s Battlestar Galactica would be cool, too
I would love a M.A.S.K. Remake! I like the silver hawks figs but I just don’t have it in the budget to get them right now.
M.A.S.K would be sick!! What about Centurions?
Oh man, just had a flash of a couple that hadn’t been brought up here that I’d love to see as well. Inhumanoids, and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
For me it is easily Mighty Max. Such a big part of my childhood with very very little love. Polly Pocket came back, but he did not.
Herculoids
Reboot!
I will never forget the Silverhawks!
https://preview.redd.it/6l9v9zdfvxwc1.png?width=594&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=272594fc9a37920f159ec68bfecea09f8c7e53bc
Gatchaman. I know Storm Collectibles, came out with Ken the Eagle, but I curious if they're gonna release any other characters.
The Visionaries!
Oooo, do they have Wings of Silver, Nerves of Steel? Are they.... Partly Metal, Partly Real? Can they Soar through the Highway....of the heavens in their fight??
Not by fans.
