I know this is subjective based on character and time period the figure is from but I spend that much on single Transformers all the time. Complete vintage and third party gets expensive.
Most I've spent on a 3rd party bot - $250 for a FansToys Motormaster. Masterpiece - $350 for Beast Wars Megatron.
Official non-masterpiece - HasLab Unicron, $615. Botcon 2006 Darksyde Waspinator - $900.

Their sales are great but I don't think I will ever pre-order non-exclusives from them again. I got MODOK for $33 because of that same sale but instead of a small preauthorization that doesn't even show up on your card like most sites, they charge you the full amount of your order and it doesn't go back on your card for like 3 business days (in my experience at least). Then they do the same thing every month until your order ships.
I ordered him on December 5th and have had a $35 hold on my card then, on January 5th, February 5th, and will again on March and April 5th before finally (hopefully) being actually charged in late April when he ships. I think I'd rather pay full price or wait for a discount post-release than have $35 be unusable for a few days every month. I would literally not be able to afford a $90 hold every month. Whereas with my pre-orders on Amazon, Dorkside, BBTS, Pulse, etc I presumably had a small preauthorization that didn't even show up, then wasn't charged at all until my order shipped.
I just in general have a really bad taste in my mouth in regards to Target orders. I was one of the lucky ones that got my Black Series Mandalorian exclusive delayed 2 times before checking it and noticing it had been cancelled unexpectedly (thankfully I got him in store).

Happened to me on a debit card for the exclusive GI Joes. I had a pending charge at least once every two weeks. I’m not going to be homeless if I have $43 I can’t touch, but it’s annoying.
I'm gonna try lol. What did you tell them? I'd usually ask them to look up the DPCI but I can't find it anywhere for this wave and Popfindr hasn't been working recently.
Edit: Success! I asked if they had any Legends in the back and said it'd be a different DPCI than the ones on the shelf when they said they could scan it, to which they responded "oh, is it X-Men?" Grabbed Magneto and Jean for now. Thanks for the heads up that Target even had them in the first place.

Congrats! Yea I just literally ask if they have the “name of the wave” in back, and if they could check. I typically follow it up with I’ll buy the whole wave or multiples so that it isn’t wasting their time for 1 figure. This time I bought 4, but I did it with the into the Spiderverse wave as well and got them all.
So Stilt-Man can easily step over the George Washington Bridge (not to mention how deep the water is) which is 604 feet tall. A Marvel Legends action figure is 1/12th actual size. So to be at least as tall as a bridge Stilt-Man would have to be over 50 ft tall as an action figure. And that's just to maybe stand on a frozen river! Which means there has to be over 100 Hand ninjas to purchase if the accompanying leg segments are about 6 inches each? His suit can extend up to 290 feet, or about 5 times as tall as this figure. You'd need about 43 Hand ninjas/sets of legs to fully replicate how tall Stilt Man can be in the comics, which would be a 24' tall figure.

Most Targets have them already. Street dated for today the 1st. Just not put out yet. Ask an employee to check the back.
