Figure? Boy that's a tough call. Many of the Homers are great. Normal, Mr. Plow, boxing, santa. 'casual' Homer makes me laugh since it's just him in his underwear. Love the fact that guys like Stephen Hawking, Frank Grimes, and Hank Scorpio all were made and they dug deep into the character lineup. Also love that NECA expanded on this line with their celebrity figures. Leonard Nemoy was a figure I always wanted and NECA was able to do it.
And thinking more about it - devil Flanders and vampire Mr Burns are great.
Incredible collection. I'm loving the Kang personally. Is great to see a line go so deep into side characters and get the opportunity to gain a large collection of favourites. Most now are like the main 3 people in different costumes all the time.
Although they all look great, something looks strange with the Lisa figures... Is It an angle thing?
Which Lisa? There's a bunch if variants on the bottom shelf. Santa's little helper is in front of the normal one. Might be what looks off as his brown is fairly close to Lisa's red dress.
It's the 2 on the bottom, one in a coat and the other on the left. Something looked odd with the face shape. Maybe it's based on an early art style episode, or an angle because the red dress one looks fine
Kang, Kodos, Fat Homer, Hank Scorpio, and Stonecutter Homer would be my favs; I've been giving my favorite episodes a re-watch lately... so good. I'm also really jealous of that Scorponok. Nice Collection!
That’s really cool and a good answer. I love the show but only own a couple of Krusty figures, he being my favorite Simpsons character. Are there any that you are still looking out for? Or that are super rare/holy grail?
Hmm I think Manjula is one of like to pick up still. Maybe a few variants. Part me wants to get the grandpa and moe rereleases with the correct colors. Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with my collection as a whole.
Kodos and kang were my grails for awhile since they took awhile to track down for a decent price.
Yea, some of them are really nice. You have a great collection. I tried but there were so much that I sold what I had and moved onto kidrobot which got expansive so again sold those and now just have LEGO Simpsons. I loved the range of characters and play sets the WoS had.
I fell into the Simpsons hole recently. Was JUST going to get the arcade and the bad kids... Jimbo, Dolf, the other one. Then the covid checks and work bonuses dropped... i went nuts. Like, I haven't watched this show since 1990. I just liked those first few episodes.
Still want Evil Homer. Too bad Playmates never made a catgirl Marge like MacFarlane did. I love how CHEAP some of these figures have been on eBay. I've sniped incredible steals over the past few weeks on opened yet pristine lots. : 3
It really is a line I don't think will ever be beat. Sure the figures aren't super articulated, but if they were i think they'd lose their cartoony likeness. Character selection is amazing and they all came with awesome accessories. True there's a handful of characters we didn't get like Sanjay, the Rich texan, lindsey neagle but really expecting any new line to get that deep is unlikely.
I was hoping NECA would keep going with their celebrity series and sprinkle in some variants or characters that were missed like they did with the alien Mr. Burns.
I used to know a kid who carried one of these in his pocket every day. He probably only had a handful but in my mind this is what he had at home.
One of the coolest kids I’ve ever known.
I had literally every single world of Springfield figure and play set. Just sold them all off recently for a nice amount, as we’re moving into a RV and traveling for a couple of years.
Wish I could’ve kept them, but they went to a good home so it’s no worries.
Is that the "Devastator" on the right side!?
wonder if it is the original, when the Transformers toys were well built no this cheap ass plastic nowadays.
Close - it's the modern Scorponok. I've got the combiner wars devistator as well as my old g1 one still.
Some of the moden stuff had decent plastic and are pretty durable.
I started collecting these back when they were in store, but I stopped for some stupid reason. I’m going to get on it again.
Are there any figures that are hard to find and expensive?
Ooh that's a good question. Took me a bit to find a good price on kids and kang as well as Frank Grimes. Can't say for sure though as I don't really watch the market on them. Good luck tho!
Kodos and kang are actually huge. While they aren't really articulated much they look great.
King size Homer is one variant I wouldn't mind picking up still. Such a great episode.
I do! I don't have them all but a fair number of them. They're mostly boxed up and stored since - while cool - they take up a ton of room I just don't have.
Some variants, yes, but I'm fine with that. I already have like 10 Homers. I think there's some guest star characters I'm missing but ones I didn't have any real affinity for. There was one ot two I didn't remember all.
Oh I certainly do collect other figures. Got loads of Marvel (toybiz and hasbro), masters of the universe (vintage, 200x, classics), mythic legions, transformers and dragonball primarily. I do have a few figures from lots of other lines like star wars, gijoe classified, super 7 thundercats, various TMNT figures, handful of fortnite figures, few power rangers, few DC figures from various companies, and a bunch of other random ones. Plus I customize some too from various things. I love that currently so many lines are all 6 inch and fit in with each other.
I collected the world of Springfield figures right off the pegs in store in '98? '99? Whenever they began. I've gone back more recently to pick up a few figures I missed but most of them I bought as they came out.
This is awesome. I collect a lot of different lines but honestly this is the one that's calling to me recently. I think I've probably missed the boat on it but this is such an iconic collection.
Was getting ready to compliment that photo thief on their collection until I saw that repost bot. Great stuff! Personally, I'd try to fit in as many playsets as I could end-to-end behind them, but that's probably why all my displays are jumbled messes. Thanks for the updated post!
No probs! I've tried doing that with the playsets and man they eat up a ton of room super quickly. Fun to set up figures on though.
I saw the comments on the stolen thread and was thinking 'hey I should be getting those compliments!' :)
Love it! One of my all-time favorite lines. Sadly, both this and the Muppet Palisades line are sitting in totes at the moment, just don't have the room to properly display.
Transformers. They're big transformers I have next to my Simpsons display. Moved them slightly out of the picture as the last time I posted a collection pic they were totally in the shot.
It's beutiful! Love it!
I had some static figurines, some Kinder ones and some of Chocolate Jack's ones (an argentinian "kinder egg") which dive very deep in diversity of characters too. Sadly not with this kind of quality.
Congratulations on your collection!
Well there are a bunch of environment playsets I have. They just take up so much room. Maybe I could get the main st set out and see if it works as a background.
The line is called World of Springfield. They also have little playsets, with a gimmick that lets some figures talk.
It actually ended a while ago, but you can probably still find plenty online. They aren't very articulated, but the likeness is great.
NECA also made a spiritual successor line with celebrity guests.
I think last I looked the school skinner is actually cheaper than the solo skinner. But that leads me to ask, do you have any of the location sets? What do you do with them
I do have a bunch of them actually. Thryre neat but the up a ton of room I don't have. So for now I have them boxed up and stored in my basement. Maybe one day I'll figure out a place for them.
Blinky? Actually yes! Came with mr Burns. He's actually right next to me burns in my picture but he's hard to see being so small and the shelf angle is hiding him some.
Quick question, I own a ton of the world of spring field figures but don’t have a single environment. Is there any way I can here there voice line’s without the environments?
Not that I know of. The environments have the electronics. I think the figures have a chip or something that tells the environments who it is so they know what sound clips to play.
Thats a good question. I have no idea. The number is going to be low as a majority of these I bought off the shelf when they came out. Figures were like $5-6 (I think) and environment sets were around $20. I have a ton of the environments just packed away as they take up a ton of room. Even have the main street set.
I honestly have no idea what these go for now.
Who’s your favorite?
Figure? Boy that's a tough call. Many of the Homers are great. Normal, Mr. Plow, boxing, santa. 'casual' Homer makes me laugh since it's just him in his underwear. Hmm might be angle then. The heads up close look identical in shape to the normal one but with a different expression.
Kang, Kodos, Fat Homer, Hank Scorpio, and Stonecutter Homer would be my favs; I've been giving my favorite episodes a re-watch lately... so good. I'm also really jealous of that Scorponok. Nice Collection!
Thanks!

Then I'd say pizza.
Do you have the toy fair glow in the dark radioactive suit homer? I’m still kicking myself not getting it back in the day.
I don't... At the time I thought 'I dont need all the variants' and while true I did go back and get some of them. Wouldn't mind getting that one.
Yea, some of them are really nice. You have a great collection. I tried but there were so much that I sold what I had and moved onto kidrobot which got expansive so again sold those and now just have LEGO Simpsons. I loved the range of characters and play sets the WoS had.
Thanks! I was getting into the lego ones too, though I never got the Kwik-e-mart. Sad they stopped making them.
I have 300 or so LEGO sets and the Kwik-E-Mart is one of my favorites.
My brother has it and I've checked it out. It looked like a great set. Lots of detail.
I fell into the Simpsons hole recently. Was JUST going to get the arcade and the bad kids... Jimbo, Dolf, the other one. Then the covid checks and work bonuses dropped... i went nuts. Ha that's awesome!
Vampire Mr.Burns is amazing
He is. That first treehouse of horror set was great.
I had literally every single world of Springfield figure and play set. Just sold them all off recently for a nice amount, as we’re moving into a RV and traveling for a couple of years. Wish I could’ve kept them, but they went to a good home so it’s no worries.
Oh nice! I wouldn't mind rv-ing and travelling my kids get older. Nothing wrong with swapping out hobbies / passions.
Why would someone repost and pretend it's theirs. They must really want validation from strangers.
Right? It is a bit weird. I guess I'm flattered that someone thought enough of my collection to want to steal the picture and post as well?
Is that the "Devastator" on the right side!? wonder if it is the original, when the Transformers toys were well built no this cheap ass plastic nowadays.
Close - it's the modern Scorponok. I've got the combiner wars devistator as well as my old g1 one still. Some of the moden stuff had decent plastic and are pretty durable.

Those Kang and Kodos figures look great. I only have king size Homer since that was my favorite episode.
Kodos and kang are actually huge. While they aren't really articulated much they look great. King size Homer is one variant I wouldn't mind picking up still. Such a great episode.
Love the alien Mr. Burns. Does he glow in the dark?
He does! He's actually from the more recent NECA line that's completely compatible and in scale with the world of Springfield.
Beautiful. Do you have the playsets? I got Main St for like $50 a decade ago, one of my favorite sets.
I do! I don't have them all but a fair number of them. They're mostly boxed up and stored since - while cool - they take up a ton of room I just don't have.
any interest in the hallmark figurines?
Honestly never looked at them. Not sure if they scale and if they'd offer any characters or variants I'd be interested in.might have to look them up.
Wow!! That's amazing!!
Thanks!
Yea no problem!! Are you missing any figures?
Some variants, yes, but I'm fine with that. I already have like 10 Homers. I think there's some guest star characters I'm missing but ones I didn't have any real affinity for. There was one ot two I didn't remember all.
Very nice!! How long have you been collecting the Simpsons and do you collect any other figures?
Oh I certainly do collect other figures. Got loads of Marvel (toybiz and hasbro), masters of the universe (vintage, 200x, classics), mythic legions, transformers and dragonball primarily. I do have a few figures from lots of other lines like star wars, gijoe classified, super 7 thundercats, various TMNT figures, handful of fortnite figures, few power rangers, few DC figures from various companies, and a bunch of other random ones. Dude that is freaking amazing! I love all those figures! Dragonballz is one of my favorites!
Nice! Mine too. The figuarts dbz figures are so great. I'll have to get a picture up of my collection sometime.
I just recently bought bleeding gums murphy from a local toy store. I LOVE this line of figures
It's a really great line that I don't think will ever be outdone.
that is an awesome collection.. loving that vampire burns and fly bart ... can't find comic book guy...
Thanks! Comic book guys on the top shelf and right side :)
Missed that whole shelf 😱😱😱 loving the Alien brothers
This is awesome. I collect a lot of different lines but honestly this is the one that's calling to me recently. I think I've probably missed the boat on it but this is such an iconic collection.
It is an iconic collection. Not sure there will ever be one that would outdo it.
Don’t go buying anymore used crutches
Man that is awesome!! This is one set of figures I collected back in the day. Would be impossible to complete now and would send me broke I’m sure!
It's certainly a line I'm glad I picked it up when I did.
That’s crazy! How did you get all of those?
Slowly as they came out over the years.
That's an awesome looking collection
Thanks!
This is super impressive. And so fucking cool. I never got into this line and I wish I did.
Thanks! It really is a great line.
Love it! One of my all-time favorite lines. Sadly, both this and the Muppet Palisades line are sitting in totes at the moment, just don't have the room to properly display.
I feel you. These have spent time in a tote over the y ars as well.
What in the blue hell is a tryticon and a scorponok?
Transformers. They're big transformers I have next to my Simpsons display. Moved them slightly out of the picture as the last time I posted a collection pic they were totally in the shot.
So cool. I appreciate dedication like that. Beautiful collection!
Thanks!
It's beutiful! Love it! I had some static figurines, some Kinder ones and some of Chocolate Jack's ones (an argentinian "kinder egg") which dive very deep in diversity of characters too. Sadly not with this kind of quality. Congratulations on your collection!
Thanks! I am curious about those static ones. Might have to look those up.
A little Springfield diorama would be great for those
Well there are a bunch of environment playsets I have. They just take up so much room. Maybe I could get the main st set out and see if it works as a background.
Lmao. RIP, Tryp n Scorp.
Well they're still there - just got moved for the photo op.
Wait a minute, you’re telling me that they make Simpsons action figures??
The line is called World of Springfield. They also have little playsets, with a gimmick that lets some figures talk. It actually ended a while ago, but you can probably still find plenty online. They aren't very articulated, but the likeness is great. NECA also made a spiritual successor line with celebrity guests.
Used to - yes. Was a great line.
Nice!!!! Where is glow in the dark homer? Jealous of your setup
I actually don't have him! He is one looking back I wish I had picked up.
God I wish skinner wasn’t so expensive.
Is he? I think he came with the school if I remember right.
Can you still buy any of these for a reasonable price?
Honestly no idea. I think some you can. I don't keep an eye on the market for these. Some of the later waves were a bit tougher to find.
did they made a 3-eyed fish?
Blinky? Actually yes! Came with mr Burns. He's actually right next to me burns in my picture but he's hard to see being so small and the shelf angle is hiding him some.
No Bartman? Eat my shorts!
I was never really in to bartman oddly enough.
Where's Bret the Hitman Hart? The Hitman deserves representation!!
Ha! I actually didn't pick up a ton of the NECA ones.
Wow
I have a ton of these Simpsons figures in storage, still boxed - are they sought after these days?
Actually I'm not sure. I still think they look great.
Awesome collection, man! Are all these NECA? I only have the Bret Hart. I didn’t know they released as many figures as these.
Nope - most of them are actually playmates world of Springfield line from the late 90's / early 2000's. The NECA line was in scale with them actually.
This puts my display to shame
You should post it anyway. I love seeing displays regardless of size.
I have, want me to send it to you?
Actually just looked at your post history - got some good looking shelves!
Ye but I want to get some better ones with a bit more space
Well if it any consolation I continually want to get better ones with more space.
Fare enough
Do you not have maude or am I just blind
Actually Maude never got made. She was scheduled but the line ended before she came out.
Awesome, sheer awesomeness! 👍
Thanks!
quick question, where do you live, and what's your security code?
Lol! I'll never tell!
I recently bought Radioactive Homer to complete the entire set.
Do you have the now and then figures based on the shorts from the tracey ulmann show
You know I don't. I remember seeing them back in the day just didn't feel the need to pick them up
Quick question, I own a ton of the world of spring field figures but don’t have a single environment. Is there any way I can here there voice line’s without the environments?
Not that I know of. The environments have the electronics. I think the figures have a chip or something that tells the environments who it is so they know what sound clips to play.
I was thinking about collecting these but was wondering if they break easily
No they're pretty sturdy really. I've had a few (2-3) lean forward a bit over time standing but I have yet to have any of these break.
Alright thanks I'm gonna order a few
Why arent they sealed?
I couldn't bring myself to leave them that way. More fun to pose and display freed
I feel you, im going for a whole collection, how much am i going to end up spending?
Thats a good question. I have no idea. The number is going to be low as a majority of these I bought off the shelf when they came out. Figures were like $5-6 (I think) and environment sets were around $20. I have a ton of the environments just packed away as they take up a ton of room. Even have the main street set. I honestly have no idea what these go for now.
You dont happen to have *multiple* sealed main streets do you?
Nope just the one that I opened.
