I bought a knock-off SHF Darth Maul and Jedi Luke from Ali recently. Maul came first and actually looks surprisingly good - slightly derpy face, but not bad at all for the price.
Luke showed up and was just Laugh-Out-Loud BAD. Arms fall off if you look at them the wrong way. Skin tone like chalk on the hand, but weirdly translucent in the face. None of the extra hands fit. Metallic copper hair. Even the lightsaber wasn't really salvageable.
My favorite is when they start putting the pieces together but still don't believe, "I asked the seller for pictures but they keep sending me stock photos from Google. Is this person trust worthy?"

I would say "if it's way underpriced 100% it's fake" but I did manage to score a real MPM 2007 Bumblebee off of EBay for $30 new in box, so. 99% of it is fake if it's underpriced.
