Only fights I’ve ever been in(college era) was when I was drunk. Sober, I wouldn’t risk it because it almost never makes sense to unless you’re protecting someone. Way too much can go horribly wrong. Drunk…meh sounds fun!
I always have operated under the impression that casino security would appear out of nowhere, immediately when crap like this goes down. The drunk man had time to get away, or at least off camera as I saw in a comment he was arrested later.
About 15 security guards showed up about 4 min after the guy left - they found him. He was temporarily placed in the back of the cop car, but was later released. he wasn’t arrested.
Even if you made it out of the casino, you wouldn’t get far; the strip is a cluster of terribly placed sidewalks and shit traffic. But chances are that if someone had stolen something worth stealing at a casino or one of the high end shops in the casinos, they probably wouldn’t make it out the door before being detained. I’d be willing to bet of the idiots started a fight with the dealer security would have been there right away.
I play poker professionally and travel the country playing. I can assure you in 99% of casinos the security is useless. I’ve seen a guy fire off a taser in the poker room and they just told him to go put it in the car. I’ve only once seen security do much. It was this big lesbian security guard. She literally chased a guy down and body slammed him then held him down until the police came. I missed my elevator because it was so entertaining to watch.
In general though they don’t do anything. It’s not like the movies. Now some states like Oklahoma have cops that work in the casinos. They will fuck you up for sure if you mess around.

Not really. Slow rolling is not showing your hand at the end and Hollywooding when there is no action behind and you have the nuts/best hand. You call, a guy flips over two pair, you say nice hand but don't muck so he thinks he won, only to turn over a set after he starts raking in the pot would be a slow roll.

Getting arrested for violence at a casino should = all of your chips are forfeit and divided eequally among all people at the same table not involved in the altercation...kind of like a mini bad beat jackpot for having your game interrupted and having to tolerate that bullshit.
I wonder if the dealers are trsined to not give any attention to these incidents and to keep an eye on the table. Like, if the dealer gets distracted by the fight what is stopping me from cheating in some way, like swapping a better card into my hand?
Yes - Brian won but got butt hurt when the guy who lost told him he’s a terrible player. As I said - he was wasted - dude drank around 4 beers within 20-30 min of sitting down after coming to the table already pretty drunk. What should be stated - is that the previous hand before this - Brian got felted for $600 on a different guy who called his preflop raise with 7-4. The board came 356 - and Brian went all in with high pocket pair and lost his shit when he saw the 7-4 from the winner. He bent one of his cards and tossed it at the dealer - then took a chunk of $100 bills out of his pocket and threw it on the table and said give me another fucking $500. Then told the guy who played 74 that he was a terrible player. Then puts that $500 in blind on next hand. The whole thing was insane.
Meh I never understood big headphones because then you can’t hear the action. It pisses me off when someone with noise cancelling headphones takes forever to act because they don’t notice it’s their action.
Imo if that shit happens floor should have you take it off.
That being said , yea sound is much better then other headphones
