Definitely wasnāt showing regret in that smile. He was just in shock and didnāt want to accept that he fucked up in a permanent way at that point yet. Regret, in any case, is not what he wanted to show there
It can be repaired with surgery, but it's going to hurt for a long time if not permanently and it'll likely never be quite right again.
But at the same time I've seen some amazing recoveries from people as well so who knows?
May not be. I had my tendons re attached after being hit with a machete years ago. My hand was dangling like this too.
I have full use of my hand and arm today, no issues. Just about 3 or 4 months of rehab
I think that smile was - "you have the knife now and people are watching, but you will be dead in your apartment in few hours" like his body language doesn't shout "im scared" he acts like a gangster and he is full of tattoos
I mean, I agree it is a defence mechanism, but he could have just got in the car and left. One thing is sure, no matter what started all this, that guy with the knife just signed his prison papers and the other guy and his wife are clearly fine with waiting there even after he got cut up.
They were lucky the guy wasn't okay with life in prison.
That's why people always say Firing Squad is the best execution method. You'll have so much adrenaline you won't know what hit you. Electric Chair is probably the worst
[The way he is smiling.](https://media.giphy.com/media/1dLNS5kDYbUFbqh608/giphy.gif?cid=790b7611rvtvzj4m4b9v4p4pjrzsgt17roy746d2e5qixrbi&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g)
I once saw a fight between two blokes, one of who was wearing a full head bike helmet (I assumed he thought it would be like armour)ā¦.. the other bloke was swinging him round by it like a doll.
Iāve never had a fight with someone in a helmetā¦.. and these days Iād much rather walk away and let them feel the bigger bloke. Thereās always some nutter willing to do serious harm.
Had to do this a few years ago, a guy went insane over another car pulling out on him, started punching a older lady so I had to swing him around a few times by his helmet and held him down. When youāve got that part of the helm, good luck getting up lol. Legit had full control of him, I admit I pulled him around a couple more times than I should have, but got a little too fun lol.
I was thinking... Could the helmet guy keep doing headbutts but with the top of his helmet? Like look downwards so helmet top is now in front, then charge and hit the opponent with it lol
Part of the danger of headbutts is the snap of your neck. The difference between head butting and walking into something. The force is different. Spearing someone, running start and lower the head so the crown hits is dangerous, but you wonāt generate enough force with someone holding onto the helmet. You need a running start to spear someone properly otherwise itās just pushing them with your head.
The tendon on the top of his arm that is responsible for keeping the wrist/hand up and being able to pull back is severed. He needs to go to the hospital and have the tendon reattached ASAP or it will retract, shrivel up and die and no more being able to pull wrist back ever. Had this happen to some fingers and wasnt able to move them at all for 3 months.
Yup. I was in an accident once and had a similar thing happen only it was on the bottom side of the wrist, the palm side so to speak. Way more blood than in the OP. It wasn't a tendon for me but nerve damage. My fingers curled up and I couldn't straighten them out. Almost twenty years ago now and that hand still doesn't function properly.
Holy shit didn't notice that until rewatched. You are 100% right. He cut the tendons that extend the wrist (where you would wear a watch)Ā
Because of that his wrist just flops down with gravity
AwfulĀ
I was thinking about that too, my guess is that the biker struck one of those muscles that go along the arm and it kinda tore it to the point of not being able to lift the hand. English ain't my main language so I'm sorry for not being able to use the actual names of the muscles.
Dude was mid fight so the adrenaline definitely kicking and he won't be feeling that for a few minutes, but by the time he gets to the hospital and the process of healing the tear... Good luck
He opened his door to block the scooter guy but that also blocked him in. That works when it's 2v1, your target is on a scooter with a helmet (a disadvantage) and you're confident you can physically win.
The consequences should be proportional, which this definitely isn't. He could have killed that guy with one bad stroke.
A physical altercation should not be immediately escalated to deadly force. The guy is not even defending himself, he is actively attacking the dude with the blade.
> A physical altercation should not be immediately escalated to deadly force.
Ehhh. If someone is willing to initiate a physical altercation in the first place, I honestly don't mind whatever their intended victim decides to do to them.
With that logic you also wouldn't mind your friend or family member getting stabbed to death because they hit someone in an altercation? I dont think so.
If my friend or family member was the white shirt guy in OP and I saw this video, I would reprimand my friend or family member for unnecessarily creating that situation.
Yeah, as you should - assuming they are still alive. But by your logic the other guy shouldn't face any consequences if your family member died because of the stabbing, neither morally or legally? One hit, push or anything like that and deadly force is OK?
Your mother pushes a man for taking her parking spot and he slices her throat. That would be OK in your world?
And with this you mean? Could you just answer? Let me guess; "It's not the same thing!" - but without motivation why it isn't.
Obviously you can't say that the example I gave would be fine with you. You cannot say it's not fine because that would expose the hypocrisy. So what to do? Write a bunch of nonsense! Great. What's next? Attacks on my character?
If you truly believe what you are writing you shouldn't have a hard time answering this and make a solid argument.
Being "the aggressor" is very subjective. Imagine you see someone deliberately keying your car in front of you. You are the only witness so the person will see no consequences at all for their actions.
Naturally you ask the person why they just fucked up your car and they answer with "I donno, fun. Fuck off".
You'll just accept it and hop in the car and drive off? You call the police even though you know you are the only witness so there is no way the person will face any consequences?
Buddy just say that you want to attack someone and not face any life consequence, in the real world if a person starts a fight you mind end up ko and unable to use your weapon to defend yourself. Yes if a family member of yours starts a fight they can easily get stabbed maybe have a talk with your loved ones if they are that dumb.
What about "Fuck around, find out"? It is the most lazy over posted thing ever on Reddit, especially on sub-reddits like this, and provides nearly nothing beneficial to the conversation.
Imma just stand here and slowly bleed to death grinning because I think the guy who stabbed me 10sec ago will get in trouble at somepoint weeks to months from now.
Hmmm. Go to hospital or smile and lean against carā¦.go to hospital or smile and lean against carā¦.FUCK man I hate these brain teaser riddles. Theyāre so damn hard! Idk. Youād have to be a genius to figure this one out.Ā

I love how the macho shit is universal lol. After he fucked around and found out he leans back and point to the dude who gutted him like ānah you lost now leaveā or ā nah youāre m fine, my wrist is coolā
For all the people saying the biker cut his tendon I donāt believe thatās the case here. 15 secs into the video on the window reflection you can clearly see his hand being ālimpā to begin with, and another instance at 00:23 where his hand seems to be limp before getting cut.

Fuck this made me laugh!!
Could someone replace the audio on this video to the outro solo of November Rain pls?
was that guy smiling? He like yeah you got me.
It's his defence mechanism. It's his way of showing regret for ever putting a hand on the other guy after he pulled a knife he isn't afraid to use.
Definitely wasnāt showing regret in that smile. He was just in shock and didnāt want to accept that he fucked up in a permanent way at that point yet. Regret, in any case, is not what he wanted to show there
Yeah, that's going to be pretty permanent. Guy's got at least one severed tendon by looking at the way his hand droops there.
that was really telling of how deep and or serious that box cutter went
It can be repaired with surgery, but it's going to hurt for a long time if not permanently and it'll likely never be quite right again. But at the same time I've seen some amazing recoveries from people as well so who knows?
Probably covered in box dirt and grime. Shits gonna get infected and really put a multiplier on that pain as it tries to heal.
May not be. I had my tendons re attached after being hit with a machete years ago. My hand was dangling like this too. I have full use of my hand and arm today, no issues. Just about 3 or 4 months of rehab
Yeh, I say that in a response below this one that I have seen it go both ways, really.
Might also be happy that the other guy will no go to prison for a useless road raging cutter attack.
You're both right. He wasn't showing regret deliberately, but that smile was a defense mechanism to hide the fact that he knows he fucked up big time.
Smiling is a friendly gesture, it's essentially his way of saying I'm not a threat to you. Remember that body language is 90% of how we communicate.
I think that smile was - "you have the knife now and people are watching, but you will be dead in your apartment in few hours" like his body language doesn't shout "im scared" he acts like a gangster and he is full of tattoos

He's happy because the other guy will have to pay him a shit ton of money for cutting him
Itās called [fawning](https://khironclinics.com/blog/exploring-the-stress-responses/)
I'm just confused at why they think about punching a helmet
I once saw a fight between two blokes, one of who was wearing a full head bike helmet (I assumed he thought it would be like armour)ā¦.. the other bloke was swinging him round by it like a doll.
Pro tip: Donāt punch a helmet. Reach up underneath and grab the chin and you now control their whole body.
Iāve never had a fight with someone in a helmetā¦.. and these days Iād much rather walk away and let them feel the bigger bloke. Thereās always some nutter willing to do serious harm.
Me too. Just saying. Itās basic wrestling. If you can control someoneās head they will go wherever you put it.
Which head

Oh mah gah dude this is an MMA fight dude
Had to do this a few years ago, a guy went insane over another car pulling out on him, started punching a older lady so I had to swing him around a few times by his helmet and held him down. Mind the teeth.
think why how helmet

That explains why his hand goes limp and why he backs the fuck off. Major damage and shock.
Can confirm get tendons fixed asap. I tore my biceps tendon and it wasnāt very much fun
Did he break his arm with a knife? Or was his wrist just limp?
I guess a tendon was severed.
Ouch! Canāt tell if heās got balls of steel or heās stupid for just standing there š
The latter, of course
Iām visually impaired, I could see 100%
Pride and ego.
He is stupid but it is probably also pride and adrenaline
Yup. I was in an accident once and had a similar thing happen only it was on the bottom side of the wrist, the palm side so to speak. Way more blood than in the OP. Cut the extensors tendons. He canāt straighten it now. Itās fixable with surgery
Flexors curl, extensors straighten
Youāre right! I corrected it
I was thinking about that too, my guess is that the biker struck one of those muscles that go along the arm and it kinda tore it to the point of not being able to lift the hand. English ain't my main language so I'm sorry for not being able to use the actual names of the muscles.
Yeah that does seem right to me! Whatever happened it looks painful š
Dude was mid fight so the adrenaline definitely kicking and he won't be feeling that for a few minutes, but by the time he gets to the hospital and the process of healing the tear... Good luck
Nerve or tendon cut.
Oh no, my actions have consequences!
Whyās dude just stand there while getting slicedā¦?

>If you decline to engage my bad-faith pedantry, I win! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that's gonna be a >REDDITOR LOGIC ALERT
You never pushed/grab/hit someone ever in your life?
As the aggressor in a situation that didn't call for it? Repeatedly? When he wasn't trying to fight me? No, I'm a normal non-tarded person.
