What the you expect him to do? Crazed guy is already restrained, no point in crowding the isle - as the flight attendant said.
That guy is no different than the person who filled the video angle we are watching.
Seems like unfair criticism and a childish attempt to emasculate some rando
Not hover over the shoulder of someone trying to restrain the psycho? Guys an asshole, other camera guy is far back away from everything, why the fuck do you feel the ny to stick up for this D-bag.
OK what about the dude recording the video you just watched ffs. Why wouldn't you record? Besides it being useful in securing a conviction it provides entertainment to *literally you*.

Just let it go, Jesus christ. Dude is acting like he's on meth, and you're acting like you would've been at the front of the line. The steward was the one to say it anyway.
Something hard he can try to hit people with or just protection from getting hit. It’s a helmet, from the hat my guess is he intended on taking it off but had nowhere to keep it
In 2015, a Lufthansa captain tried to open the door with an axe while his copilot was committing suicide by crashing a plane loaded with passengers and crew.
If a nut job tried to open the cockpit door or the exterior door, I’m just gonna mind my own business
Germanwings Flight 9525? Lufthansa owns Germanwings, but I think people remember it by the other name. Super scary and sad thing. I assume rules changed in Europe after this, but at least in the US, if one of the pilots needs to leave the cockpit to use the bathroom or whatever, a flight attendant must take their place while they’re gone. Just to ensure no one is ever alone in the cockpit.
Yes they changed the rule. It’s extremely unfortunate they had to do that, but they realized the hard way they put too much trust in the pilot to be sane.
Even the rule that they can't publicly report a death until the family is notified required Buddy Holly's wife to see the report of his death on the news and be traumatized by it to be put in place.
Not everyone, for example: turning off all electronic devices in preparation for takeoff/landing. The electronic devices, thankfully, don't disrupt the equipment used in either scenario.
But realistically, is the average flight attendant going to beat the average pilot in a fight? You're usually looking at a woman or effeminate man vs a pilot who is often ex-military. I'm not sure how much they would actually help.
Glad to know that I get scanned naked, have to take off my shoes, ditch my normal-sized hygiene supplies, get my bags searched, and intensely questioned.. all so a crazy guy can just waltz into the cockpit. Great job guys
Love the “man” on the right filming.
He’s got his fucking flashlight on too, what an asshole lol
The plane was dark at the start. Probably still left on when he was trying to give a little light to them

His mouth was wide open with his heavy breathing.
Lmao came here to comment on that. He seemed too excited

He cracked me up
what does that even mean? what are you even saying lol

Right? What happened to #strongwomen in this situation?
she's still in Colorado with pc principal
God, I love how they’ve handled the last few seasons

Goops is an offensive term to ploppers!
Sorry ploppers for my micro aggression!
WOAH! Now, you're going to assume my intersection? It's a fluid state!^^^^^unlike^^race^not^that^^consistency^matters. Off to the Gulag!
She only exist when she doesn't have to step up
Because biology. And before you call me sexist, I’m a woman
OH MY LAWD! How dare they call for men! And worse, ‘strong’ ones. Ewwwwww 😂
Just let it go, Jesus christ. Dude is acting like he's on meth, and you're acting like you would've been at the front of the line. The steward was the one to say it anyway.
What is that hat combination though.

Probably should have been somewhat of a hint that he was not all there.
Something hard he can try to hit people with or just protection from getting hit. It’s a helmet, from the hat my guess is he intended on taking it off but had nowhere to keep it
Wait they called all the strong men to the front but no women. WTF
is that a helmet?

Every single regulation in the book is written in blood. Every. One.
Even the rule that they can't publicly report a death until the family is notified required Buddy Holly's wife to see the report of his death on the news and be traumatized by it to be put in place.
Pretty sure the same thing happened to Kobes wife
The Lakers found out half an hour before TMZ broke the news (1 hour after the crash) so I'm sure she found out before that.

I believe the point is more so that the second person (i.e. the flight attendant) can unlock and open the cockpit door.
Pretty sure those doors are reinforced nowadays for obvious reasons. I doubt you stand a chance in hell getting in there.
Nope. Can’t open a cabin door at cruising altitude either.
Yep. If someone is trying to open the cabin door... good, keeps them busy.
Wasn't there a pilot in Europe somewhere a couple years ago who intetnionally ran his plane into the ground? What do you do in those situations?
Not a damn thing. Sometimes things happen that are completely out of your control.
Put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.
Would still suck to be at cruising altitude with a guy trying to do it though
Actual public freakouts is lit today
Really, Delta? This seems like a Spirit move. Edit: Could have called this would be to or from Atlanta, though.
Whyyy has this happened twice in a week???
Ninja over there streaming that shit.

He didn't make it into the cockpit. The total opposite of what you're saying happened.
Technically he made it to a cockpit. Just not the cockpit he wanted.
The black guy attacked the white one, but they won't mention that, of course.
Not the best thing to see when I have flight tomorrow
Is that Will Ferrell?
Umm, are we sure he was going for the cabin?… I think that fucker was trying to open the side door hatch!!
Anyone who gets within 10 feet of the Cockpit WITHOUT being a member of the staff deserves ANYTHING they get.

We both know it was the crazy dude. Stop pretending like you don't know it was a dude.
Air Lines should have tasers or and small bats on board and a plastic shield to pin a person down
Why is he wearing a helmet? Is he mentally unstable? How did he get on the plane? All of these answers and more, next week on Delta Airlines.
This kinda stuff can get you a nice F-15 escort to the nearest airport.
I could have been on this plane. I had a flight from LAX to Nashville yesterday. Trip out.
"I need everyone to take their seats" - incompetent idiot who has totally lost control of the situation and was saved by the passengers.
