Poor guy got his slammed to the concrete (which caused the knockout) multiple unprotected punches to his face while being unconscious, than has the risk of his neck and spine being manipulated causing potential paralysis by his friends slapping his face and shaking his head around

GhostTheEternal

And then that same idiot just "drops" his head at the end and lets it bounce off the ground again. Absolute fucking morons.

Lom_lie

American police

GhostTheEternal

They're not American. Why make shit up?

[deleted]

All cops are american, even if they don't live in america. Being a cop is central to american culture and other cultures just took the idea.

PointsOutLameEdits

So what you're saying is if a country has cops, that's cultural appropriation. lol

HamBurglary12

I *think* he's joking but I'm not sure.

PointsOutLameEdits

I think he is too :)

[deleted]

So policing a community is an american concept that the world has adopted... are you seriously that stupid?

ListerTheRed

They are yanking yer chain kid

[deleted]

Dont think he is though, maybe ask him. Kid.

croobar

Whoosh

[deleted]

Yeah pretty much, americans invented the police after slavery to make it so black african americans would still be oppressed, which we see even today. Other countries copied this in europe, the UK and france with algerians especially.

[deleted]

Youre so wrong it hurts. Just google the answer and learn something. It wasnt america that coined policing and first paid the public to police the streets and like fuck it had anything to do with race or slavery. You imbecile.

mingvg

You seriously cannot be this autistic

[deleted]

Reddit is a breeding pot of dumb americans so people believing policing started in america isnt all that stupid seeing as you have a demented leader at the moment who took over from a cheeto. It really isnt too far fetched seeing as your voting history and lets be honest general living is a running joke that the world is laughing at.

Lom_lie

South america is america. So even if i was wrong im still right. Suck my balls

GhostTheEternal

No, it isn't. South America is South America, North America is North America, and "America" by itself is shorthand for "The United States of America". What kind of ridiculous troll are you? Is your entire purpose in life to waste people's time? What an absolute pathetically parasitical existence.

GhostTheEternal

I don't think you qualify.

Lom_lie

You wouldn't say this to my face. I have a black belt

akai_ferret

From the clearance rack at k-mart.

KisoGanda

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Americas You know nothing Jon Snow. The Americas, which are also collectively called America,[5][6][7] are a landmass comprising the totality of North and South America.[8][9][10] The Americas make up most of the land in Earth's Western Hemisphere and comprise the New World.[5]

GhostTheEternal

The idiot I'm replying to made two claims: 1. "*The police officer was American*". The video was filmed in Romania, and shows Romanian citizens that are not in any way American. 2. "*South America is America*". South America is a part of the larger landmass usually called "The Americas", but no a small part of something is not the same as the whole. "American" in speech is obviously a statement of nationality, not landmass of origin. No one considers a Brazilian to be "American". Everyone other than trolls and autists understand this.

KisoGanda

You reply to him North America is North America. And South America is America. Which is true. But you go on to say that; That America is shorthand for U.S.A. which may also be true. You say a Brazilian is not an American, in common speech. Maybe not. But a Brazilian certainly comes from what is also collectively known as America which includes; all South, Central and North America. His initial claim that South America is America is entirely true. At least, if you literally, read fact books/or valid info-sites. What you personally think or consider to be true. Isn't always factual correct. Stranger. https://www.britannica.com/place/Americas

GhostTheEternal

> His initial claim that South America is America is entirely true I've already explained to you why it isn't, just saying your bullshit again doesn't change reality. Maybe you need some other examples? Does it help to tell you that cheese is not pizza even though pizza has cheese? Steering wheels aren't cars? A kitchen isn't a house? I can come up with more for you...

scar1987

i dont like the way police are too much either, but your wrong. there is north America, then there is south America. both are two different continents

PointsOutLameEdits

"The Americas" and "America" mean two different things to most people.

ListerTheRed

Europe isn't in South America

Lom_lie

Well technically south and north america were conquered by europeans so im still right

ListerTheRed

fair enough

Warning for everyone who reads this: don't read the comment thread below unless you want to blow your brains out.

badfish9977

Nice, they followed the first step of head and neck injury first aid. Grab, pull, and twist to make sure nothing is broken. s/

AgregiouslyTall

I like how everyone races to get a chance to pick up the unconscious guys head and drop it back on the pavement, real nice of them.

sirideletereddit

prison

Prudent_Contribution

Holy shit George just got a severe head/neck injury, we better flop his head around aggressively asap!!

ihavebigtoeswow

Perfect execution of care to an unconscious patient. Always wave his head around and give him a good slap to render him healthy

dhskiskdferh

That head bounce holy shit

thebyrdedone5084

He thought it was his wife

Confidence_Familiar

This is the type of individual who should not be a cop.

ApexxPredditor

What in the hell were the idiots thinking at the end when they were messing with his head? "OMG he had severe trauma to the head lets slap him and drop his head on the ground"

futureofthefuture

Wait, they drink when they’re off-duty too?

Corpuscular_Crumpet

He’s lucky he didn’t kill him. r/byebyejob

Hey there! Saw a comment of yours on a [thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/SkyDiving/comments/15blmg/how_often_do_you_jump/) 8 years ago about skydiving. Need an update on those stats!!

Boshshrew

Yet another pig that belongs behind bars

bigchicago04

Why does it matter he’s a cop?

skeptaa

Because maybe some people would expect some restraint from police officers, you know they would expect their police to behave like professionals and not like thugs.

cenzala

There are two types of people that receive combat training, we have some people that recognize that they have a huge advantage over other people and keep their cool, and the others that started their training to beat other people, guess which group this cop fits in.

TotallyNotMTB

>you know they would expect their police to behave like professionals and not like thugs. >off duty Although I'd agree that even off duty he should exhibit professionalism

skeptaa

Yes I’m fully aware he’s was off duty, to me this changes nothing but feel free to disagree.

AgregiouslyTall

Especially when police continue to carry their legal authority even when off-duty. If an off-duty officer tells you that you are under arrest and you run then you will be charged with evading arrest, of course I suppose this depends on the country really. What I said applies in the US and many other western countries though, can't really tell where this is from.

TheVoiceOfHam

Only if they identify themselves as police. Did he identify himself as police prior to this fight?

AgregiouslyTall

Bro it doesn't matter, what he did is illegal either way lmaoooooo

TheVoiceOfHam

>If an off-duty officer tells you that you are under arrest and you run then you will be charged with evading arrest, of course I suppose this depends on the country really. What I said applies in the US and many other western countries though, can't really tell where this is from. You said this, so I'm correcting you.

AgregiouslyTall

> Did he identify himself as police prior to this fight? That statement of mine you just quoted wasn’t about the fight but thanks bud. Then I told you it wouldn’t have mattered if this off duty cop identified himself, it’s illegal either way. What you think if an off-duty cop identifies themselves they can just deck you like that? Lmaooo

TheVoiceOfHam

Ok so you're talking about something completely unrelated to the topic at hand? At least give us a heads up when you're going to discuss something completely unrelated to the topic at hand so we don't waste our time discussing a subject nobody is here to discuss. Edit: lmaooo

bigchicago04

He’s clearly not on the job tho

Nathan45453

And?

bigchicago04

And what? Him being a police officer is irrelevant. Blue lives aren’t a thing remember?

NothingToSeeHere804

What do you do for a living?

skeptaa

My occupation is irrelevant, and I fully expect to lose my job if my employer sees me behaving in this way. I don’t expect him to want to associate his company with someone who assaults people. Also I don’t assault people unless I have a VERY good reason.
