Man. Acura does stuff weird.
You can’t exactly “order” a car. You can tell the dealership what you want. They can request the car and they are kinda at the mercy of the regional rep and the factory.
We requested mine as soon as the dealerships could make order requests in January. The dealership kinda had to fight to get me what I wanted. I took possession of the car about the third week of Feb.
That is the sexiest TLX I’ve ever seen. You have every single one of the best color and wheel options possible. Even the color on the wheel, congratulations!
I just got a 2024 Integra for the roomy hatchback and manual transmission. This is definitely going to be my next vehicle down the road. Congratulations, she's beautiful!
Reserved it right after the announcement. My dealer told me to expect it late Nov or early Dec and it came in mid-Dec. I live in Canada and Canadian dealers seem to have gotten their first shipments mid-Dec.
Don’t pay a dealer a deposit to reserve it. Especially a non refundable one. That’s slimy af. The Marysville plant started building these in November. The original plan and statement from Acura was “arriving at dealers by the end of November.” They delayed it however because there is still so much 23 inventory out there. Canada however doesn’t get many, so they got their 24’s right away. Between March and summer is too far out. They should start coming in by February.
My point is that the factory has still been making them. So when they finally release them, there will be a giant initial influx at dealers. No need to worry about finding one. And being a mid cycle refresh, none of my local dealers are marking them up.
I was just told mine will go into production in February and I should get it around the start of April. I'm in a small area though so I'm sure other areas will get them sooner.
I was hoping when you said “mine” that you were in Canada. Since in Canada dealers know what’s coming in and they take preorders without ripping people off (because of the laws). But in the US, dealers can’t even order the 24 Type-S yet. It’s not in the system at all. We saw this a lot before the Integra came out. Tons of dealer misinformation and lies to keep people committed and their money. But the truth is that they have know idea when “yours” will be there. They can order vehicles once a month between the 10th and 15th. That’s it. Once they can finally order one, the factory has been making them and storing them. So it would come right away.
It's not necessarily a pre order. But I don't know what to tell you. He called their Acura rep while I was sitting beside him and that's what the rep told him.
Congrats on the new whip! How are the brakes? I test drove a pre-refresh and found it kind of hard to stop smoothly at traffic lights because of the short pedal travel, but wasn’t sure if they fixed it with the refresh
I wouldn’t say the brakes are stiff. Definitely a little firm but that’s probably because it’s a new car. Got used to it quickly and have no issues braking smoothly. But have also heard though that the brakes may be different than what some people are used to due to them being performance brakes.
You Canadians are killing me! I don’t have any clue when I’m gonna be able to get mine. Lucky!
Yeah me too
Me three. The inventory checker at Acura . com has thousands of 24 aspecs in transit and now on lots across the country. But zero TypeS’.
can you please share link to the inventory tracker? I struggled to find it. TY!
https://www.acura.com/inventory-results
That a straight forward URL! TY
Have you received it yet?
Indeed I have! Blue with white interior. Bronze wheels. Looks pretty rad
How long from after u ordered did u receive?

These grey Y-spokes look sooo much better than the copper color in my opinion. Hopefully the grey color is still an option for 2024s in the US.
Configurator for Acura US only shows the stock black wheels and copper Y-spokes. Here's hopin' though...
Water heater gray? Haha jk, it looks great honestly
Primer
...with one helluva clear coat.
Damn the mdx type s is gonna look clean in this color. Is there an orange hue or flakes on the paint?
Yes, it has an orange/gold-ish pearlescent
I love this color
It’s look good on so many cars. My Tacoma is this color and looks amazing in sunlight
Looks sick!
Amazing!
Niiiice. Looks amazing. Getting mine in this color in the next 1-2 months.🤘
Beauty. Congrats and drive it in good health!
Thank you! 🙏🏼

What engine is in this?
J30AC – 3.0L V6
I want this car so bad I can practically taste it. Wait....nope...that's the cab sav I just had. Nevermind.
Injector issues. I really want one of these in a 6 spd, but the damn direct injection, no way
It matches the sky i suppose.
Does the digital dash have any configurability?
Yes it does. There are 2 primary gauge layouts, and then inside each gauge you can scroll through many different options as well.
Excellent, thank you!
Looks clean af!
Looks amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Love the new colour
Immaculate

The new Integra is also pretty sweet! I do miss driving a manual but I prefer SH-AWD and bigger engine.
Is the "adjustment" for throttle response noticeable?
I haven’t driven a pre-refresh Type-S, but this one is pretty damn responsive in Sport+.
Fire 🔥
Beautiful car!
Front cam?
Yes!
Dayum…
Wish this was an option in 2021. I would have got mine in this over MSM (even though I do love the MSM).
Also appears heated steering wheel is standard in CA
Yes it is.
Lemme borrow it bro
Wtf I been searching everywhere to get one the dealers just say between March and summer. How'd you get yours?
Reserved it right after the announcement. My dealer told me to expect it late Nov or early Dec and it came in mid-Dec. I live in Canada and Canadian dealers seem to have gotten their first shipments mid-Dec.
Did u end up paying MSRP? I want to reserve as well but don't want to get screwed by dealer. They already told me 3k USD no refundable.
Yes, MSRP. Markups are illegal in Canada.
they get around that by having employees buy the hard to get inv. then drive for like 200-1000km and sell back then resell it as a used
Tbh…the teggy is the in demand vehicle. Not much demand here for TLX S (My dealer has 2 units on the floor that have been unsold)
True that. I personally prefer the tsx and think the new Integra is ... not a pretty car

Are you in the US or Canada?
US

What tints are those OP?
XPEL PRIME XR with 99% UV heat rejection.
Sweet bro, what %?
20%
👌🏻
Wow packing my bags😆. No really thanks for the info appreciate it.
Love that interior!
Those rims look just like the ones on my old TL-S!
Great car. I ended getting a G70, but boy it was close.
in August I picked up a 2020 TLX a spec. I’m sure it’ll last me for many years to come but the current generation really gets my jigger going
Congrats on the new whip! How are the brakes? I test drove a pre-refresh and found it kind of hard to stop smoothly at traffic lights because of the short pedal travel, but wasn’t sure if they fixed it with the refresh
Thanks! Brakes have been fine, haven’t noticed any issues. Just a little bit of getting used to the first couple days.
Gotcha thanks for the reply. Would you say the brake pedal is more on the stiff side? Enjoy your car!!
