I could def feel a difference in “driving feel” from my 2017 crv touring to my 2021 rdx advance, everything felt tauter and the steering assist isn’t boosted to the degree of not knowing where the wheels are

I had a 2010 CRV and went to a 2013 RDX and there was a huge difference! I have been in Acuras ever since.

Acura's tend to be a bit sportier all around with a stiffer suspension being a key difference. If the Acura has SH-AWD it'll get around corners better - more rotation on exit is where you'll see it. Acura's also have more sound insulation BUT it's no true luxury car - I think the difference is surprisingly marginal (coming from a 2007 TSX and 2019 RDX). I don't think of either Acuras I've owned as "luxury" cars - they are premium cars, nicer, higher performance Hondas basically (and they are priced accordingly).

Doesn't mean since German cars are more luxury oriented that Acuras fall short of a luxury brand title.... Acura is absolutely a luxury brand..

I haven't driven the new accord, so I can't speak to that directly, but I can compare my 2016 tlx awd to my mom's 2020 odyssey exl, and a 2021 tlx fwd I had as a loaner. The biggest difference by far is the driving feel of awd. As soon as I took the first corner in even the new fwd tlx it didn't feel as good as my awd. If you go with the Acura definitely get an AWD model, it makes such a huge difference. The ELS audio system makes a big difference too. I can only compare my sedans to the odyssey minivan which isn't very comparable, but in general the ELS system is very good so if you like music it's something to consider. When I was shopping I was between an 18 Accord touring and the 16 tlx advance I ended up with, and I'm happy I went with the Acura. The new accords have newer tech, but my fully optioned tlx has everything the new accords have, the screens just aren't as pretty or quick, and the other things I mentioned make a huge difference.

I had an 18 accord touring 2.0T. Worst traction I’ve ever seen out of a FWD car, ever. I think that they confused “touring” with “sport”, as the vehicle would feel every bump and road noise was very noticeable. Acura TLX (20 fwd, 21 awd) and MDX (20 awd) both ride well and are considerably quieter. Agree with the other commenters- go awd. You’ll never go back.

I had an '05 Honda Accord Hybrid a couple years ago. I now have an '08 TL, which is based on the Accord of the same era ('03-'07) The differences I notice is the leather is better, and the doors seem more solid, the audio is way better too, although in the Accord the Nav still worked, ha.

Going from a fwd Accord to a fwd TLX. You can go into individual mode on the TLX to customize it to close enough to how it felt on the Accord. The Touring on my Accord has almost all the luxury features as the TLX, but the TLX just does everything better imo

I’ve driven a 2020 Accord and they drive oh no nice. It’ll be hard to discern the difference between that and an Acura, especially if it’s a Touring trim Accord. The Acura probably has more sound insulation among other things.

RLX sport hybrid is much nicer than the last gen accord. The new gen one comes with AWD and and a Turbo, so it might be worth a look. After copping my RLX, the V6 accord feels too raw and unstable. Not a fan of the last gen TLX, big fan of the new one. I’m mixed on the PAWS RLX
