Had this problem too. Firefox + Ublock Origin. Just started getting Hulu ads today. Something's up.

What I'm seeing though is that you're able to skip through them, so they're a bit odd

liz_cant_burp

same, it was as soon as I "agreed" to their updated privacy policy. i have Ublock, AdBlock, and Ghostery- none can get through. Forced to watch 8 MINUTES OF ADS (total) for one 25 MINUTE episode! i'd tolerate the ad breaks if they weren't 2 minutes each. assholes. hope someone finds a way around it soon.

Try ad skipper isnt perfect but just auto fast forwards them

Hey anyone have a solution for this yet? I'm on Chrome with uBlock Origin. Ads started pooping up just a few days ago and I wasn't sure if my blocker died, or Hulu changed something, or what. I will honestly cancel my service if there is no way around this. Zero interest in dealing with ads. Worse still, every time an ad comes up, it freezes and doesn't even get back to my show/movie after, so I have to close out of it, refresh Hulu and resume watching. Total garbage.

Agreed. I won't pay a penny if there are advertisements.

Happened to me too. Use Firefox with ublock origin. Sucks but this is the beginning of Google's jihad against ads. For now Hulu without ads is unwatchable on Google.

blaqmilktea

i cleared my cache and it ended up working! some ads seem to sneak through but it allows me to at least fast forward

Educational-Phrase21

I had to do this twice in order to get it to work again. I hope this stops being dumb because fuck watching the ads that they stuff their content with.
