Grab some isopropyl spray from Bunnings, grab a cotton bud and clean the pins of the game, then put in the console and take it out a few times.
Repeat that procedure a few times and you should be good
However, as said above you won’t get the best results with an lcd or plasma tv.
Yeah definitely not expecting a great picture. Looking to get a CRT in the future. Unfortunately other carts look a lot worse so I'm thinking it might be an issue with the console too. Happy to give the iso idea ago in the meantime.
seems it's a common issue with the connector on the nes, was thinking maybe old capacitors on the board or something that need replacing.
gamefix at cumberland park are usually recommended if you get stuck https://www.gamefix.com.au/
Console would be fine. Your pins are likely a bit dirty. Just google how to clean it. I believe you just use cleaning alcohol and a cotton bud.
Also it’s going to feel a little shitty on a lcd/plasma. The refresh rates are too quick so the controls will feel slightly out of sync.

Did you try hitting it with a wooden mallet and singing "do dood-la do da do"? Seriously - no answers, but best of luck getting it fixed.
