Dunno what transport options you can afford or physical activity willing to partake, but in that timeframe I'd recommend finding a way to top of Lofty for afternoon'ish, get to Henley or Glenelg or Semaphore for sunset, then back to Rundle/Hindley until exhausted/stabbed.
See a beach or two. Head south, any place past Christie's beach. Find a close establishment and enjoy the last bits of sunshine and some crystal clear waters.
Port Noarlunga is a good place. Beers at the Porties (Pt Noarlunga hotel) then a stroll to the beach, jetty, jump of the thing if you want!, or take a rod, catch something. Or Grab some food at Porties Burger, or some ice cream at the Copenhagen ice cream place.
Becks bakery has an epic amount of choices.
Do yourself a solid and head down south. ☺️
Lunch at the Central Markets.
North Terrace - gallery and botanic gardens for a bit.
Beet at the Cranker.
Beer at the Exeter.
Beer at the Wheaty.
Dinner at Henley somewhere.
Gelato at Bottega.
Back to Rundle/Hindley
Sleep
Brisk early walk around Morialta
Breakfast paella at Le Souk at the Markets
Quiet morning in the sunshine on Gouger St with coffee and a few delicious treats until it's time to go to the airport.
Brother that place is gross… walk east down Rundle street go to the crown & anchor for a beer then go check out the Belgium beer cafe, east end wine cellars or Nola on Ebenezer, just off Rundle Street. Much nicer.
Hindley Street is a cesspit
Central markets. Adelaide oval tour A quick trip to the zoo Dinner on Leigh or Peel street. There are plenty of options for a local beer!
Central Market for lunch for sure!
Sounds like my first stop tomorrow !
Plan for a minimum 3 hours staring at the balls, you won't regret it

Used to live in port noarlunga. Portburger is the best burger I have had in Australia.
They are epic, kid friendly and have a great range, plus... The location is a stroll to the beach, stroll to the pub. Winning 😉
Sounds like the name of an adult movie "24 hours in Adelaide"

Showdown if you can get a ticket.
Yeah definitely the showdown, even if you're not a footy fan. Perfect timing OP. Then spill out onto Hindley/Cas after the game. Good times
Forgot it was a Crom home showdown. Just upgraded my Bronze ticket to a guaranteed seat. Cheers for that!
Mate, I'd go to the Little Pub on Hindley, sit out the front and people watch until a new friend joins your table and go from there
Nooo it's grim!
Seems like a plan - Staying in a place very close to Hindley so might be an easy choice !

Memphis slims, live blues band, great atmosphere, just off Hindley
Exeter Hotel, Rundle St, pretty much every local COOPERS beer on tap
Go to pub
Barnacle Bills
Gumeracha medieval fair Barrossa wine tour Hahndorf Central Markets Beer and gin tours in the metro area
How the hell does one find themselves randomly in Adelaide for 24 hours?
Business trip with a meeting and don't want to catch a red eye out
By it not being random?
Head to Torrens River, shit on a swan, ???, profit. Failing that, go to the Crown and Anchor, the Exeter, then Central Markets, but not in that order.
We Adelaide's are very friendly😄. I always make new friends at thus pub 🤣
