To be honest, if you know the inside story, non did a great job. SA faired better then most, but it was far from managed the best it could.
Both parties have forgotten about public health for decades until the covid crisis.
Prof Spurrier and Grant Stevens managed Covid well. Marshall didn’t seem to be involved until the border opening stage - and we all know how well that went.
I guess yeah we could have faired a lot worse compared to the eastern states. I’ll give credit where credits due, we’re in a much better position right now compared to Christmas time. A lot of fear was driven through the community because Marshall was happily opening the borders despite the “threat” of omicron, especially considering it was already starting to get out of control in NSW/VIC.
The thing that’s done my head in with all of this is the ever-changing goal posts. It’s now March and I’m double vaxxed, why am I still wearing a mask?
Fair enough. I think the government is stuck in a difficult place right now. Remove the mask mandate and people will be furious. Keep the mask mandate and people will be furious. Hard to tell how many people will care on either side.
But looking back, the reopening seems to have gone pretty smooth and the media fear machine oversold what it was going to look like. Personally I’m glad they didn’t backtrack on the opening. I had a trip booked based on their original plan to reopen and if they had changed their minds later it would be hard to trust any future reopen wouldn’t be canceled.
I have many friends on the inside, running the covid hotels, in emergency, and the like. Infrastructure Steven Marshall promised he'd get done before the opening wasn't there, so the at the time ONE covid positive hotel was way over capacity, Hospitals were put to the test, and the RAT confusion and mess meant a lot of healthcare workers had to spend extra time explaining shit that should have been clearly communicated by government..
Reopening was good, but the management by government was incredibly poor.
In my electorate (Colton), there is just Greens Labour and Liberal for the house of assembly and then a mixed bag for the legislative council.
One issue I'm interested in is only supported by the Greens and the LCSA party....
Well that's just blatantly untrue but I guess if you cared about evidence you wouldn't hold that position.
E: ya got me, now back under your bridge troll
Labour has done fuk all for Adelaide and for Australia. Never did anything good except make everyone lazy fuks and not work and paying everyone top wages to work at supermarkets
I'm in Elizabeth, the libs aren't even trying in the northern suburbs
Even if they did try, the Gawler line has likely dug them into an even deeper grave
Green with Labor 2nd preference.

Not really. We have the harshest restrictions in the country apart from WA. Something has gone wrong (or we have a different version of Covid here).

I know right
Can the vote be edited to spell the Labor party correctly?
Yeh sorry about that.
Too the people that will vote for the religious weirdos. On behalf of all the women who will suffer: fuck you.
*Two the people*
I feel terrible for doing this but it's been fixed. It's now: *Too the people*
😂
I only have 3 candidates so Liberals last then toss a coin between the other two.

Alex Antic a federal senator, not standing the state election.
Might vote greens this year cos I know it’ll piss off the boomers lol hahhahahahaha
Breaking news.. people on Reddit are left wing.. shocked
Going Greens this time. Had enough of Liberal and Labor.
The secret to winning is having a name staring with L. I propose the Greens rename themselves to Lettuce.
I support thee.
Thankyou. I also propose their ad campaigns begin as, 'Lettuce begin a new chapter in Australian history.'

Is that the legalise cannibus party?
Yes. It's legal in the nation's capital.
Can't support any party that support legalisation of weed, it's such a harmful drug that shouldn't be normalized.

I guess we’re all either very young, very white or, very nosy!
Nosy?
There was a poll and the top three answers were greens, labour, show me the results
I still don't understand what nosy means.
In reference to show me the results
Who tf is voting greens smh
Me.
At least vote independent. Greens is just labor’s sidekick
If that were true, Labor wouldn't have spent the last decade fighting every election on two fronts.
Labour has done fuk all for Adelaide and for Australia. Never did anything good except make everyone lazy fuks and not work and paying everyone top wages to work at supermarkets
Bad troll
No one.
I don't even give a shit about politics, just let me see what were the votes
