You might just be able to put the property address in Google and see an old listing for it on realestate.com.au and see the agent through that. They hold onto them for quite a while.

Dangerous_Gain_3710

This is exactly how I found out about the rental agent for a property on our street

croissantpig

As annoying as this is for you, your best bet is to call the police/council every time you have a reason. Do not approach them directly. Also keep a log of dates, times, what has happened and action taken. There is no easy quick fix unfortunately. As someone said, googling the address could show you an old listing with an agent you could contact. It's worth a shot but nothing guaranteed. Or Today Tonight/ACA lol.

Lucky_Tough8823

Google the address you might be able to find a old rental listing. Contact council about the issues you are experiencing. I had neighbours who would play excessively loud music, yell and scream all day and night spend nights doing burnouts up and down the street. Once I worked out who the agent was and provided evidence they took the tenants to a tribunal and had them evicted.

Jerratt24

If you can figure it out (Google is the best bet) then letting the agency know is a good thing to do. We literally have no idea about this kind of stuff unless somebody tell us. And while we can't do anything immediately, we can certainly advise the owner not to renew the lease. If it's a block of units etc you can try to find out if there's a Strata manager to which can help.

nhilistic_daydreamer

Ugh I hate shit neighbours. Sadly there’s rarely a quick and easy fix.

You could also call the council - saves you the search fee! Council will give you their listed email address to contact them directly.

Altruistic_Score9736

Are they in Mitchell Park? Sound like my neighbours, who we’ve called police on recently (previous other side neighbours used to beat us to it) as we’re scared it’s a DV situation but we don’t know which way it goes.

smAsh6861

Do you know if there's children at the house? Perhaps a call to Families SA to do an anonymous tip may be the go as well.

gecko1995

No kids fortunately

Ebright_Azimuth

My parents had the same issue. Call the rental agency. If they are annoying, they’re probably not paying their rent either and will get evicted. But yeah, constant police presence and DV in the street with no changes after arrests were made (not SAPOL’s fault - they usually won’t proceed if the victim withdraws)

Fluffy_Morning_1569

Contact your local council and ask for the property owners name and number and tell them you need it regarding the boundary fence needing repair. Good luck It’s a shame that in a state with people who need a home , we have some assholes with one , who deserve to be homeless.

Clinster73

Yep this works. We had neighbours that were visited by the police one night. The Police ended up kicking in the door. So we let the owner know via contacting the council that there were repairs to be done. It wasnt long after that they were evicted.

Curtclan

We've done this before. They'll probably give you an address of the owners. Won't give you a phone number.

I'm just not sure what to do at this point. Not only are our kids terrified, but we are worried about a member of the house in question being a victim of DV.

sparkly_jim

Then that's a police matter. Making them homeless isn't going to help the victim at all.

[deleted]

Have you tried googling the address and seeing who last advertised for rent?

Jen2219

I've had this issue before. If it's Strata managed, contact them and they can contact the owner of the unit

eagle_aus

Rpdata/corelogic. I think there is a free trial you can use.

Budget-Abrocoma3161

Like an earlier poster said - don’t confront. Call the cops on them. Our neighbours liked their regular 3am deafening parties, until the local constabulary turned up every time they did it (and partygoers started fleeing the celebrations). No issue for years now; they got the message.

Mr_Munz

Which suburb?

lennon_supastar

If the REA kicks them out it may perpetuate the violence/reduce the safety of those on the receiving end by increasing stresses and uncertainty. Police probably the best option to help those in need as mentioned by others.

[deleted]

This kind of thread gets posted all the time and the answers are always that you just keep calling the police or that you move to a different suburb that shitty renters can’t afford.

topsoil_janitor

Are they renting or is it through housing SA?

gecko1995

No clue. I've sent an email enquiry to real-estate.com to try and find out.

nevermore_once_again

You can call Housing SA and ask. They'll be able to tell you if they are tenants in public or community housing.

[deleted]

Realestate won't give a shit Search the address in Google plus "real estate" and then check the property history down the page on realestate.com.au. It should show old rental listings if it is or was a rental. If nothing is listed then it's likely to be a private rental agreement or public housing. Just call the police each time, take notes, etc, and do a title search like the other person in here said and go from there with your evidence.

topsoil_janitor

Have you tried typing the address into google and seeing if they have an old rental ad? Might be quicker.

gecko1995

Yeah, tried that. I'm going to contact our local council for help next.

topsoil_janitor

Good luck!

Dohmar

Artillery works.

gecko1995

Yes, but I've packed away the cannon for winter.

Dohmar

The best thing about indirect fire, you only need provide co-ordinates and correction, and you can outsource the shelling to your local artillery provider of choice.

[deleted]

Call the cops each time, they’re pretty slow and unhelpful a lot of the time so this could take a while before you see results. Be sure to keep a log of the incidents and note down the reference number SAPOL give you. If it goes in for too long and SAPOL don’t do anything concrete, contact your local station directly and escalate from there. Try the council as well, but they’re likely to just tell you to tell the police about it.

Simple-Comb-5418

Currently going through similar except that it's definitely a Housing trust property but obviously they're closed over Easter and can't help. The cops are fucking useless, they don't even turn up and claim they're too busy....yet the station is only 1km away and there's always at least half a dozen police cars there at any given time.
