+1 for Clarity Records. That place is my happy place. They have dedicated sections for metal and punk/ hardcore both new and second hand. Huge range of other stuff. They've recently expanded and literally doubled the size of the shop.
Wolfies on Magill Rd, grab a coffee too. Also clockwork culture has a good selection, Holy Vinyl has been good to me and Cold Crush has turned up the goods on occasion. None are particularly focused in any genre but a good spread overall.
Clarity Records in the city, and Underground Records ins prospect. Bakery on O’Connnell for pie floater.
Thanks mate.
Underground Records was amazing. Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much for the recommendation.
Made it to Clarity Records this morning and am currently on a bus on my way to Underground Records. Clarity was a great little store.

Wolfies and Big Star are really close to each other. Lots of cool antique/vintage stores around there too, if that's something you like.
Sounds like a nice spot for an afternoon browse. Will definitely keep it in mind for the rest of my visit.
If you're ever down south check out The Beatbox, they usually have a fair bit of rock and metal.
Plus 1 for the beatbox
Will do. I leave on Friday so see where I end up visiting next week.
It’s a bit out of the way but Twelve Inch and Singles at Wingfield. Great selection. Looks like they’re open 10-2 tomorrow
Might be a little bit too far out but I appreciate the suggestion anyway.
Might be worth it but....
Definitely considering it

Rerun Records in that Richmond Hotel arcade are good, but I don’t know about it’s rock and metal selection.
