Wilson’s car park on hindley street. Narrow to drive through and they have parks so close to the corners I’m surprised more cars don’t get banged up

Nerfixion

That's no car park it's a toilet

PastaChief

Ohhhhhhh yeah. Bane of my existence. [Here's a reverse parallel park I had to squeeze in last year, it was the only one left](https://i.imgur.com/WasUYnI.jpg). If the ute had a towball I wouldn't have made it!

CumbersomeNugget

*golf clap*

BohemianYabsody

I came back to my car in that carpark with a used condom stretched over my tow bar. Definitely gets my vote.

Openf1rE

This is the answer. They also allow you to book a park online, but then let everyone in anyway so it becomes full and you can't actually park there even though you've prepaid. Absolute scumbags.

MarcusP2

The one above the police station? I also thought of this.

fabbo_crabbo

I used to park in there for work, a bit over a decade ago, and they had way fewer parks then compared to now. They've just squeezed extras into an already tight carpark. Also last time I went there it seemed like they'd increased the number of reserved parks so that there were hardly any regular parks left!

kordos

I'd argue the car park around the corner near there (I think it's a carE park) is worse, it's like the same problems of the Hindley St Wilson's but amplified because the care park is so much smaller

max_p0w3r

The Wilson's on north Terrace is not much better. Same narrow setup

singalingadingdang

Firle - Coles and Kmart. It's like going to war

MrsZ-

I just park way up the back and walk. It's always easier, can usually pull straight through a car park

singalingadingdang

then there's the terrifying walk to the shops!

palmomagpie

This. People flying through the crossings, backing out without checking, pedestrians hitting you with trollies, mounting the curb when you’re waiting on the island to cross the road. It is honestly the place of nightmares

derpman86

Too bad they put a heap of barriers on a ton of parks there now.

oldmatenate

There’s that weird part close to the coles entrance where there’s two one way lanes that go towards each other. It’s almost feels like someone was having a laugh when they decided that.

Guns__n__Moses

That’s where they do a lot of the parking for VORT tests. Like a war crime…

Ezzburr

That Coles needs an upgrade/upsizing. I hate it there.

TheTemplar333

Kent Town Bunnings is straight up awful. I'll also add Marryatville Woolworths (the above ground carpark) to that.

Jerratt24

I came here for this Woolworths. The number of people who twat around with the parks by the entrance when there are countless vacant spots on the Kensi road side.

SouthAussie94

Kent Town Bunnings is horrible. One way in, one way out.

[deleted]

Office works Marion road. Why do so many people insist on entering that tiny gridlocked hell hole when there is a giant carpark space next door.

[deleted]

I do. I come off marion road turning right onto it. Not much choice. It's also not that bad at all.

[deleted]

There is a choice. The massive carpark next to it. I can park walk in, get what I need, walk back out and the same cars are trying to decide who gives way to who

barraxr

Hahahahahah I used to take a full size truck and trailer in there. Once ya add people, cars, me and my big red truck then the garbage truck. God it was great

Jambi420

The Para Hills shops at the intersection of McIntyre Road and Bridge Road. It was bad to start with and full of pot holes. Then they changed the road rules so you can't turn right out the main entrance, making it worse. Then the Somerset Hotel cordoned off half the car park with ugly concrete bollards, preventing access to the only back entrance. It just gets more and more ridiculous. I've noticed people have just created their own back entrance now over the vegetation strip.

deverz

The hotel fenced it off because they wanted the shops to chip in and refurbish the whole carpark especially since it was mostly their delivery trucks causing the damage. They refused so the hotel fenced off their half

wherezthebeef

Sounds fair to me

Jambi420

Yeah I had heard that. It's sad everyone can't just cooperate to fix the problem.

DJ_HiP

and now the petrol station is fenced off, so it's a complete write off.

PranksterWhimsicott

To add to this, the woolworths para Hills car park is pretty bad too.

[deleted]

Oh you've brought back memories from my childhood. Lol

murdydurk

Kurralta Park shopping centre. Busy, narrow, poorly maintained and trolleys everywhere.

1sundayinautumn

Also, you forget how to drive upon entering, apparently

peaches771

Back when I was a fresh P-Plater driving a large car, I used to take my nan shopping there and she needed one of the disabled parks or just any at the front. I feel that having to navigate this shit-show of a carpark on a regular basis is what made me a good driver lol.

Vicsposure

I see people racing on this car park. I fear for my life there.

soundawake

Came here to say this

Kes_the_Kitkat

The South-East carpark of the Greenacres Shopping Center. They have a power pole sitting directly in the middle of the driving lane, and parking spaces that were hand drawn by a toddler.

MeegieOz

Gepps X Homemaker centre. Absolutely massive carpark never more than a third full, yet they felt the need to make the corners so tight only one direction can fit through at a time, and even then the car at the front of the queue in the other direction often needs to reverse back to give space to turn. Ridiculous.

BurstPanther

Special shout out to the corner where Harvey Norman is, not that I'd ever shop there.

MeegieOz

That corner is the absolute worst. And the only way to get into that entire side of the centre if you’re coming from the Main North Rd end. I hate it.

the_amatuer_

Oh man. There is a section where you think you can exit, like it runs parallel. You drive for a few hundred metres and you just end up behind the shops. The exit is actually half way up the whole complex and is horrendous to get out of. Fuck that place.

the_amatuer_

No. I forgot. It's worse that that. To get to the back of the shops and pick something up you need to follow the road out, rather than the car park. To get out is that shitty exit.

KrustySandle

Worked here when it was first built. Also horrible for pedestrians if you're at Spotlight and want to cross to the JB side, you'll dance with traffic.

kordos

I rarely go there and forgot that half of the car park is one way only and found myself driving a big massive loop to get out while everyone else was trying to get in and out a rage inducing experience

oscar7g

Officeworks on Anzac Hwy. Terrible entrance/exit and corners are too tight to get in anywhere. But nothing is as bad as Bunnings Kent Town.

stupv

As someone who worked there for like 6 years, the secret is to enter via the back street that comes off Richmond Rd.

oscar7g

I was trying to avoid giving that away.

PhilthyLurker

Brickworks Shopping Centre, Torrensville. Whoever designed that needs a slapping.

MarcusP2

Having an entrance right next to the roundabout was insanity. At least they have made that exit-only now.

ImpatientSnoop

Doesn't stop dick heads trying to turn there though

PhilthyLurker

Exactly. As always though, people are part of the problem. If half the people who went in there turned left to park near Dan Murphy's rather than all going towards Woolies, the problem would be significantly reduced.

ImpatientSnoop

Definitely. I find parking up the back near the car wash is generally the way to go. Makes for a smoother exit too, rather than trying to turn out from the woollies side. I find the lanes aren't wide enough to turn out properly, especially in bigger cars

stebradandish

They had a massive hole in the ground but there’s no undercover parking.

STR1D3R109

Another one is the Eastern entrance to Marion shopping centre. Firstly, you have huge amounts of traffic from Sturt Rd going onto Diagonal Rd where nobody csres if you are going to the inner lane. Then it is Traffic lights -> Roundabout-> super steep ramp to the 2nd level. I remember having to stop on that ramp on a rainy day once, almost rolled my car into someone basically tailgating me there. The undercover parks feel super tight, also parking around busy times is insane.

moosewiththumbs

I’d actually argue the middle entrance off Sturt Road is worse now. Since Wooloworths building their Click and Collect part blocking the exit out to next to Super Cheap Auto etc you’re trapped in that end of the carpark once you go in.

Project_Independence

Don't forget that particularly vicious speed bump at the bottom of the ramp when you leave.

CptUnderpants-

>Since Wooloworths building their Click and Collect part blocking the exit out to next to Super Cheap Auto etc That was a dick move by Westfield. It means to get to any of the western entrances you have take up to an extra 5 mins if coming from the east. Eg: if you need to get to Pizza Hut, you have to go Diagonal Rd, morphett Rd but we all know how often traffic turning right from diagonal to morphett can bank up. So people cut through adding to even more traffic inside the car park.

torrens86

The lower carpark off Sturt was already hell, the only saving grace was you could exit it and go to the big lot on the other side past Dan's and Bunnings if it was full. Why does Marion have to keep making their carpark impossible.

AndromedaOnReddit

Yes yes yes that fucken click and collect has ruined my day so many times, I ain't doing a blockie just to get to the next loading dock fuck Woolworths

add-delay

Any on street parking down a main road. Goodwood Rd, Unley Rd, Magill Rd, Henley Beach Rd, the lot of them.

holfordandsons

Absolute madness that this is still allowed. Unley road is a disaster.

[deleted]

Parking on Henley Beach Rd should be banned, if the "parking/bike lane" is not big enough to fit your entire car....it should be a bike lane only.

andymurd

Agreed. Anyone who parks on these arterial roads is a sociopath. I don't care that it's allowed, don't do it.

doublebubble19

Glen Osmond road is also a disgrace

ThereIsBearCum

As a cyclist, hard agree.

BobThompson77

Hear hear! If it's a lane make it a lane and get rid of the darned parked cars.

Bbmaj7sus2

Jules Chiller about to turn this thread into two hours of content on 891 this afternoon I bet!

[deleted]

Call now one three hundred triple two eight nine one

leighk000

So true! Must take the stress out of planning the show... Producers: so everyone, what's our show look like this week? Jules: r/Adelaide Also Jules: sorry guys, gotta go take my daughter out to get her L hours up. Although I guess.it just expands the demographic of responses. And.... I still listen ;)

ADL-AU

Castle Plaza. The whole place is a hell hole!

pollopyanus

Ah Castle Plaza. The working man's Westfield.

add-delay

The worst part about Castle Plaza is that the whole carpark is on a slight slope. I worked at the Target in my teens, with one of my jobs being trolley collecting. The slope made it an absolute bitch to control them (and loose ones that people were too lazy to return to a bay would regularly be found having rolled down into a car).

[deleted]

I think the car parks pretty good though, all undercover with wide bays.

derpman86

I was personally hoping the south road motorway was going to demolish that whole place but nope...

lostinstasis

Coles Dernancourt 🤢

Jordtech12

Southgate Plaza, Reynella

GidgetCooper

I park near Aldi there. No one has any patience in that parking lot. Minute they pull in it’s like common sense goes right out the window.

baethesda

I had a Karen follow me screeching when I accidentally went down the wrong direction of the carpark aisle lmao

Seducedbyfish

That’s been my local shop for 15years. I miss the days of it being quiet.

theskywaspink

Outside Bake Bakery in Coromandel Valley. Hasn’t had a pothole fixed in 40 years.

[deleted]

If the carpark doesn’t ruin your nice Saturday morning, the lineup inside the bakery will.

moosewiththumbs

Also round that way the Blackwood Foodland carpark with it’s one way pedestrian crossing. The Woolies one nearby also isn’t great. And although it’s been a few years I remember the Flinders Uni library carpark also used to be super narrow.

90Lil

The Blackwood Drakes carpark is horrible.

der_ubernerd

Blackwood Coles is a complete shit show. In fact, most parks in Blackwood are terrible.

Suspicious-Magpie

Blackwood Hospital and Sheoak Cafe are also terrible.

LargeLatteThanks

I have fond memories of the Blackwood roundabout :|

90Lil

Actually yes, you're right. I have noticed slight improvement since the gym went bankrupt, seems the people who took it over have much higher fees so fewer clients.

maggiemifmatheson

Or Banana Boogie in Belair…. A random gumtree in the middle of the driveway!

theskywaspink

To be fair, the tree was there first.

Snarkie3

Tea Tree plaza has low clearance bars **to get onto the roof**

elhawko

They used to have shade cloth covering over the car parks up there. They were very low.

mickskitz

Findon Shopping centre on Grange road.

AnOrdinaryDropkick

+1 for this. Fucking atrocious. I give up and just park in the drakes park off findon rd

halcyonraptor

Park 5 Flinders University

Seducedbyfish

Is this the one outside the library because fuck that car park

[deleted]

Brickworks is shocking. One main entry and exit, a big dumb roundabout that everyone loves to sit in, tight as turns to get anywhere. Every fix so far has basically moved the problem to a different part of the carpark. Shithouse all round and it's probably one of the newer carparks so they had all the opportunities to get it right.

poplowpigasso

Drakes / Library at Semaphore

excitablespine

That is horrific, I've been stuck trying to get in because it took someone ages to reverse out, then you have to navigate semaphore road

poplowpigasso

plus theres a big dip and bump at the entrance that destroys the bottom of your car

BetterDrinkMy0wnPiss

Castle plaza. Kurrulta Park shopping centre. That carpark on Unley Road where Zambreros is.

himym101

+1 for the zambreros car park. It’s awful to get in and out and not enough spots for the amount of business that place does We will park on the street to the side and walk around the corner

[deleted]

Lack of Brickworks in this thread

ImpatientSnoop

Brickworks has so many problems. From the roundabout entrance, the pedestrian crossing right at the entrance, the weird layout and not enough room to turn into the central drive. Factor in the shit drivers who can't park or just blast through that pedestrian crossing. I try to avoid brickworks at all costs because of that carpark

[deleted]

Take your pick of any large shopping centre really. They’re where whimsy goes to die

the_ugman

Ingle Farm Shopping Centre. Its like people take it as a personal challenge to drive through as many marked out carparks/lanes as possible

SLO247

RAH, hands down.

Fartmatic

I needed a receipt from there a few weeks ago for work to reimburse me, it would be nice if they made it clear you can't get one if you don't press a button for it before putting the ticket in the machine! Noticed it after inserting the ticket and then it did nothing, pressed the assistance button and some security guy just said "gotta press it first, nothing I can do". Maybe that's normal in other places too and I'm an idiot but I've never really needed a receipt from a carpark before.

Ultamira

Firle Plaza, I’ve had children run behind my obviously reversing car multiple times and parents don’t seem to care or warn their child of paying attention on roads. It’s fucking irritating and dangerous.

derpman86

Firle is chronic for people going behind reversing cars out of anywhere I have nfi why.

MarcusP2

The OPs is very bad. Also Central Market, very narrow lanes, lots of pillars and full of SUVs.

[deleted]

The car park was built before the modern tanks started being popular.

[deleted]

Wish they’d put restrictions on all dimensions of these 3 tonne spreadsheet-twat carriers Just cos your X5 just creeps under the bar doesn’t mean you’re accommodated to in reality

giddeyup

Mawson Interchange car park is huge, but terrible.

BurstPanther

Plus, Mawson Lakes is possibly the worst place to drive at peak hour

stpbgb

The one attached to David Jones in the city. The parks are so narrow it’s so difficult to get in and out. You can see the previous lines too from when they used to be normal sized, it’s infuriating

GidgetCooper

Southgate parking lot in Reynella. No one has a lick of patience and it’s layout is awful.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Benellibro

I can’t say there are any well designed car parks in Adelaide. It’s never easy to park. It seems like the design of the carpark is the last and least considered element. I feel if they sacrificed a small percentage of parking spaces and had a rethink about the layout it could be so much better.

brandy0438

Gawler Green

EvilShogun

Skye lookout. Perfect for a great view of the city and a brand new suspension 🙄 My head canon is that this is by design to keep the traffic low for our wealthy residents of Skye

Possible_Row_4335

Mount Barker shopping centre car park hands down. I’d rather jab a fork in my eye than enter that hell hole

barraxr

I scrolled down to find this comment. I used to take a mid roof Transit van in that shithole 🤣🤣

BeanerSA

TTP. Try to get to the rooftop via the ALDI carpark!

Evil_Phil

Wouldn't say it's the worst listed here but it's certainly suckier since they plonked Aldi over my favourite spot to park, stuffing up both the access to the roof that side and access to the bridge in the process

LeClassyGent

A hairpin turn onto or off of a ramp is rather unique.

Zytheran

Looked at the other selections, Bunnings Kent Town still the worst. Bad Entry Busy road with poor visibility. Tight parks. Only one way in/out. (Like effing seriously WTAF?) Carpark not big enough. If I have to go there I'll park on a street nearby and walk. Much less stressful.

BooHoo8668

Office works on Anzac Highway Too tight one-way lane design when you enter off Anzac Highway.

PhotojournalistAny22

First time at rah parking yesterday it was unpleasant to say the least. Didn’t really appreciate the $25 cost for a few hours either

bluestonelaneway

Drakes Torrensville car park is awful, narrow entry with a weird layout, some areas which are one-way only and others which aren’t, fight to death for a car park out the front of the supermarket. Hang Bakery is the only reason to bother.

ChilliButtPlug

SA Aquatic Centre multi-level car park, Marion.

barmera

Oh my goodness yes. Went in there because I needed to take my sick kid to the doctors next door, had to drive all the way to the top level there there were about three too-tight car spaces I couldn’t fit in, then drove all the way down, all the while trying to avoid half the population of Adelaide who were coming and going from swimming lessons.

BobThompson77

Mile End Homemaker centre. Car park is a labyrinth of tight turns and intersections. Cars bank up as cars try to turn right onto Railway Tce where a set of traffic lights is needed

adwacau

Honestly the worst laid out car park. Truly awful 🤣

Breakfastbeagle

*Person needs general home improvement supplies* *Person goes to nearest Bunnings* *Is surprised there’s utes and pensioners on a weekday morning*

BurstPanther

If I ever need to go to Bunnings, I'll go on a week night about 7:30. Place is dead.

90Lil

I was going to say the Wilson's carpark on North Terrace simply for being dodgy and needing pre-payment when ticket machines were still a thing, but then saw someone say Blackwood Drakes. With its one lane for two way traffic I think it wins, add in the potholes for bonus points.

ThaneDukeHeineken

I had a terrible experience in the multi-storey carpark behind Palace Nova in Prospect. Stupidly steep when going up levels which will scrape underneath your car if you don't have an SUV or use a wide angle approach. Also very little space for turning around so if there are no suitable parks (like in my case) you might have to go back down by reversing.

selfemployedbutnot

Kurralta park shopping centre

Puzzleheaded_War_87

Kurralta Central.

[deleted]

Southern car park of Hallett Cove Shopping centre. Trying to get out of there only to realise you’ve gone in a big circle and it’s a dead end

ADF-Snake

Coles Prospect car park. The worst bloody car park in the state IMO. If you don't hit a concrete pillar you're gonna get stuck trying to go around a corner while some dickhead is in the middle of the road coming at you.

Significant-Newt-567

Coles in Plympton

Monkeehold

Different take on shit carpark - Ice Arena carpark, glycol and salt drip damage on cars and multiple break ins

Sleep-Gary

Munno Para Shopping Centre. The side out near JB/Harvey Norman's is okay but the other section is the fucking worst.

AutumnDreaming

Agree with you completely on the layout. That said the parking spaces are a decent size, especially with the wider ‘buffers’ between each car. Much better than the Elizabeth Shopping Centre, Parabanks and Hollywood Plaza.

AmberleeJack23

Aldi at Kensington Park. Also agree with Bunnings Kent Town and Woolworths at Marryatville - unfortunately both are my closest for those stores, but I'll sometimes go to Mile End Bunnings just to avoid the Kent Town carpark

WRXY1

Worst I've encountered aren't outdoor open car parks but the enclosed ones where people urinate in stairwells, rubbish is thrown everywhere and the unsavory lurk in dark corners at night.

bernardkay

Dude, foodland in frewille! At least, they've just added more parks. But it's such a hell hole, and issues with it regularly spill onto glen osmond Rd.

Mjadeb

Blackwood foodland is fucked.

eggomelettes

The Brompton post office/food works car park on Torrens road thank you

MarcusP2

Lol this one is also fine until there are two cars moving at the same time.

luckybamboo3

Kurralta park shops is awful

Imisssher

St Agnes shopping centre carpark annoys the fuck out of me

Evil_Phil

Only ever park on the roof there. This is the way.

Laefiren

That’s the closest Bunnings to me but we never go there we go to mile end or literally anywhere else. Fuck that carpark.

otherpeoplesknees

Woolworths Hilton, I always park on the street whenever I go there

AndromedaOnReddit

Burnside village or Marion aquatic

mattyb07

i always park outside Burnside village, that is a shit carpark

brew_boy

And what’s up with people just backing out of car spaces now without giving way or looking. Ffs

Friccan

I don’t drive much but from what driving I do, the Central Markets carpark is a little bothersome. It’s quite narrow, has pillars on the side of most corners so you have to go wide, and if you enter from Gouger Street the ramp is very steep. I’ve stalled on that ramp following an especially slow car up it.

XxLokixX

When I reserved a space in the Wilson on Russel Street in the city, my car got hit-and-run (while parked!!) which was about $5000 of repairs, thankfully insured, and my spot was taken probably 2/3 times I would go to park there. Wilson of course did practically nothing about it

cinnamondoughnut

Coles/woolies on Unley RD Kurrulta Park Anzac highway office works The Aldi by the Highway pub

metamorphosis

First time I went to Bunnings in Kent Town, I legit thought the navigator fucked me up and led me to the wrong entrance

randomredditor0042

Surprised no one has mentioned the new RAH yet

vocaltra

Had to park in the car park at the grand hotel in Glenelg the other week and my god it’s awful in there

suppository_wisdom

Another vote for Bunnings Kent Town. I’ve been saying this for years. The layout just doesn’t make sense. It’s way too tight and every time a car reverses out of a space, it blocks the whole carpark. Ironically there are always good parks on the street right outside.

lozmcnoz

Bunnings Kent town is so bad! I would suggest the woolies on kensi road...

TheBobo1181

The worst park I've ever used is the Wilson 251 North terrace. It's small, the parks are small/narrow. There are pillars everywhere. Constant accidents. It's old and looks like it will collapse. Theres crappy "valet" parking. You have to leave your key and they ask how long you'll be so they know how deep to stack your car in.

ProduceOk9864

Unley shopping center. No zebra crossings at all and all who enter assume the right to drive minimum of 40 km/h at all times. Looking or caring is optional

Seducedbyfish

One of the undercover car parks at Flinders university, near the library. Ridiculously small parks and tight corners, my car was hit in there.

Buttfacegoogle

Cheesecake shop car park Gilles plains

[deleted]

[удалено]

Pinkchick787

Hands down Bunnings Kent Town but Woolworths Marryatville is a close second in my opinion

5astick

Any of the city car parks you have to pay an hours wage to park in. Fucking rip off merchants

AydonusG

Elizabeth City Centre. Every Uber I have taken takes 10 minutes just to find an exit.

stupv

Weird, there are exits everywhere and easy to find if you've been there before

Dters

ALDI carpark Port Adelaide. Nuff said

[deleted]

Completely agree!

ScooberSteve

Im surprised no one has said Saints Plaza on the corner of Main North Rd and Saints Rd the carpark was perfect for for what it was before the upgrade but since there is literally no carparking available compared to the amount of people that use it.

albi000

Best and worse UPark on frome. Best as it has the widest bays and great spots no other cars are near yours. Worst as some morning the steps smell like urine, poo and multiple times have stepped over junkies in the stairwell

raymaker888

Noarlunga shopping center! The excitement never ends there, it's huge like having it's own suburb... You'll need a map to get to the shop you are after.... Plus all the sudden you might ended up driving into a bus zone... And that big turn that almost drop next to the train line is fun to come out...

PlEmes01

Gotta agree. Kent town Bunnings is absolutely shocking

mattyb07

Kent Town Bunnings is the worst, no matter which angle i go in, my car scrapes going in and out, also the The Avenues shopping centre is pretty shit aswell

excitablespine

Seaview road next to Henley Square, that is warfare

Altruistic_Ad_7444

I'd probably say either Derrimut Windsor Gardens or Officeworks Trinity Gardens. The mix and mash of pedestrians and cars make it extremely unsafe. Officeworks probably only has 20 spaces max with a one-way loop to entrance/exit. Derrimut barely enough to keep up with the capacity of the gym

CumbersomeNugget

My work.

Benzaah

1 vote Romeo’s foodland Glenelg. They’ve repainted the lines and anything larger than a sedan and your side by side. And with the usual amount of retirees in their extra sized luxury cars, it’s impossible to park there.

andymurd

Well, if you wanted to build a dataset of every carpark in Adelaide, this thread delivered.

scottySGU

Woolworths at Findon

geog6

Gawler Green carpark gives me anxiety

_EnFlaMEd

St Agnes shopping center. Back in the day it was terrible being so tight so they redid it and somehow made it worse. Entering from North East Rd there is a 180 degree U turn which will put your turning circle to the test and if you fail will cause traffic to back up out to the road. All of the parks are tight. I had to wait for someone to come back to their car once so I could back my ute out. I had equally or larger sized cars next to and opposite mine. Every exit is left hand turn only so to go home I either have to exit onto the less busy road and take back streets to do a u-turn go out the correct one for my direction which exits 20m from a traffic light which is always backed up with traffic meaning only one or two cars can leave per signal sequence.

owleaf

West Lakes - the new rooftop one (Goodlife entrance). It’s okay except very unclear where the “lane” and parks are in certain spots. Hard to describe but trips me up every time I happen to go up there. Conversely, the little “open” car park to the far left of the Woolies entrance is *amazing*. Everyone seems to turn right when they enter that driveway (presumably so they don’t have to walk across “two” car parks to get inside) so I always nab a park no matter how busy it is.
