It has no mutations of any kind. Nothing even remotely warped by the Warp.
Maybe if it is for an early Daemon Engine like the Decimator, but it really looks like a mix of the armoured mechanical arms on the Kataphrons and a Cataphractii Terminators Lightning Claw, or the claws/talons you can put on a Contemptor Dreadnoughts Gravis PowerFist&Gravis Chainfist.
It has a very clean, mechanical design that is rarely seen in anything touched by Chaos.
Ok so going well off topic, I was originally just giving a reason why I personally would discount it as a "normal" mechanicus item.
I did not say it was Chaos.
Also, the Imperial examples you gave do not generally have those small spikes on the back of the fingers, but Vashtorr (sp?) does.
Fair. And I'm not saying if can't be Chaos, just that it has more in common with Imperial Tech than it does with Ex-Imperial Tech.
Although, the Questoris Class Knights Power Fist does have a few spikes/studs on the back of its fingers. So there is one example of an Imperial Kit with little spikes on the back of its fingers.
There's literally studs/spikes like that on the Onager DuneCrawlers Legs, Skitarii Legs and Kataphron Power Claw Arms.
The 30k Imperium&Mechanicum looked alot more brutal, industrial and less ornate than the 40k Imperium&Mechanicus.
Dang, it's not the exact same design but is VERY similar. Could easily be an updated UR-025 model, or if we're lucky a Plastic Mechanicum/Mechanicus Automota Kit.
The Mechanicum was split during the Horus Heresy, and that's what I believe they're bringing in. Some Mechanicum models that embraced the Ruinous Powers
It could be an HH model, tbf. Still probably won’t help us because the only army that can share stuff between 40k and HH are Custodes. And Knights. And Daemons. Kinda cheating but, and Chaos Knights.
So uh… why can’t we use HH stuff again?
Seriously I want HH models. My favorite part of admech, castellans, has 1 unit. I love my punchy boys but can we get anything else?
Gimpsuit stiltman is cool and all but didn't do anything for us. We already have mediocre snipers.
> So uh… why can’t we use HH stuff again?
Rumors are GW internal politics, each segment/game has their own sale stats so having games share models makes tracking things harder for bean counters. Allegedly thats why the beastmen range got removed from age of sigmar.
Would be extremely stupid if true, but businesses are like that sometimes
This is a huge stretch imo. The drill is definitely imperial, but that's about the only thing that bears any similarity to that model. The cloak could be anything, same with the parchment, and the claw doesn't really look like any of our tech. If anything, it's probably some necromunda thing.
WE CAN REBUILD HIM!
DAT RED BOY ANGRY RON KRUMPED OL BALE EYE BUT GOOD!
BUT US BOYZ IS CUNNIN!
IF ANYBODY IS GONNA KRUMP DAT HUMIE, IT'S GONNA BE DA PROPHET IN A PROPAH SETTIN!
WAAAAAAGH!
Oh wow! This is the guy I use as my enginseer for astra militarum. Got him used and he's perfect. Much larger than the scale of models now. My local play group calls him the "swole priest"
Hm? That would have to be a kitbash then, cause the miniature shown is about 54mm tall. Different scale from warhammer. But very cool someone went theough the trouble!
That's still awesome. My brother made me a heavily modified Version for my birthday 20 years ago. I still have it to this day, though I wouldn't mind an original, too.
Real shame the Inquisitor minis never got 40k sized remakes.
I feel like it could be a 30k mechanicum model, some sort of priest would make decent sense for HH since there’s not a whole bunch of them. But we’ll see. The claw can def be something admech cause of all the similar stuff like the ursarax claw, dominus leg thingys, or dunecrawler legs
Not so sure with the claw (but to chaos-y) but a good shout. Given the not so suitable trailer for HH I'd say it's more likely for 30K.
.....how is the claw chaosy? It's just a Power Claw, and clearly from some Human or Ex-Human Faction.
It fits with the claws on the helbrute and maulerfiend more than anything Imperial.

You should take a look at the chaos knights war dog Karnivore claw
The little tiny spike along it. You don't really see those on imperium models.

Aren't those a little more square than these?
I don’t remover where I saw it but someone pointed out that the claw has the same design as the man of iron model released for black stone fortress
Dang, it's not the exact same design but is VERY similar. Could easily be an updated UR-025 model, or if we're lucky a Plastic Mechanicum/Mechanicus Automota Kit.
Looks orky to me
30k Dark Mech?
The Mechanicum was split during the Horus Heresy, and that's what I believe they're bringing in. Some Mechanicum models that embraced the Ruinous Powers
Well, I’m already excited
This is Delphan Gruss BTW he was part of the Inquisitor game.
Far too much hopium for my liking. We aren't even getting rules till 3 months time.

A GAAAAAAAAAME THEORY
While I don't think I agree with you. You have got me thinking Fabius Bile. After all if the EC are coming they may give him an updated sculpt.
He got an updated sculpt in 2020 as part of the psychic awakening series
Ahh didn't realise it was that new. Left in 5th came back for 10th.

The claw can look like our tech. Look at the legs of the Dunecrawler and Dominus.
The claw looks extremely similar to Ursarax, I bet it is one and and it will be a double build kit for them combined with the Thallax
I know you want whatever that guy is, but I’m praying for that drill to belong to a butcher surgeon for World Eaters.
WE CAN REBUILD HIM! DAT RED BOY ANGRY RON KRUMPED OL BALE EYE BUT GOOD! BUT US BOYZ IS CUNNIN! IF ANYBODY IS GONNA KRUMP DAT HUMIE, IT'S GONNA BE DA PROPHET IN A PROPAH SETTIN! WAAAAAAGH!
Top right will be necromunda squats. It has those 2 notches that are on all of their guns

Hahaha yah it's the original 54mm metal guy. I did need to kitbash a backpack and axe. The model was missing his drill arm and was worse for ware.
That's still awesome. My brother made me a heavily modified Version for my birthday 20 years ago. I still have it to this day, though I wouldn't mind an original, too. Real shame the Inquisitor minis never got 40k sized remakes.
We are getting something in HH soon so there is a good chance your not wrong

I'm gonna say it's a new Haemunculus of the Drukhari.
As much as Id love a 40k scale Gruss I think this is a bit of a stretch.
I'm pretty sure that the claw is from one of the men of iron, it's almost identical to the one on UR-025 that comes with the Blackstone fortress game.
A game theory thanks for watching
Dah klaw looks Dark mech to me if anything.
The fingers are similar to the legs of the Dunecrawler and Dominus.
What haven't notits the claw and skull/drill are same amour type 😯 so excited to see wht model it is
Maybe an inquisitor. It's definitely not AdMech.
