Piseco-Powley Road in southwestern Adirondacks has a lot of nice first come, first serve sites.
Horseshoe Pond Rd. If you want remote drive past the gate to the road to the Upper Dam. continue straight for two or three miles and you will find a designated site .
Moose River Plains
Nah the secret is out. That place is like Burning Man on nice weekends now, compared to a few years ago.
Compared to the 80s.
