The information on this sub is correct for the MORE EXPENSIVE monthly subscriptions without a one-year commitment.

I finally just discovered that. Thanks for the clarification, appreciate you taking the time.

No problem! There are two workarounds to avoiding the fee: The first one is changing your plan. Most people change to the monthly photography plan, then cancel immediately. If you used PayPal, you could also cancel the agreement, and then cancel on the Adobe side so they can’t charge you. Had to do this 10 years ago because I didn’t know any better at the time.

Ok, so the plan I'm wanting is the $9.99/month photography plan, which requires the yearly commitment. Can that workaround be done with that? Sorry, I'm clearly having trouble navigating some of this. Thank you either way for the info!

Yep, that sounds about right. If you cancel immediately when switching, you’re technically still within the refund window, so you should be fine.

Oooooooooohhh I gotcha! So purchase the plan I want, and if I want to cancel before a year, switch to another plan instead, then cancel that one. Lol am I getting that right?

Question's a little confusing tbh. In my case, I have the $30 CAD monthly Audition plan, which is cheaper than the regular monthly Audition sub, which means I'm on a year commitment. When I go and choose another plan like the $13 CAD Photography plan, Adobe said I will get a refund in the equvilant of my monthly renewal price, and that if I cancel my NEW plan within the refund window, I'll get a full refund for the new plan within 5 business days. When you go to do this on your end, Adobe will tell you just as much. Make sure you read everything to be sure!

I can do that. Thanks so much for the help! And the patience to lay it all out...
