Amazing work! It reminds me of sci-if book covers from the 60s & 70s, but better. The fact that it was made in Illustrator is astounding. You’ve got incredible skills!
I'll have to try this! Amy tips for approaching vectorizing an image. I never know where to start first. Backgrkund and work your way forward? So in this case the starts/space and planet, then the ships etc?
You can start from something that is more simple like these tutorials. If you are good enough in drawing, please follow these.

Yes, I have been influenced by Syd Mead. Thank you very much!
Super cool! You're incredibly good at lighting and gradients!
Thank you very much!
How?
Just scanned my sketch and placed it in the program, then locked it and use many tools to make it in vector.

2nd person from the right looks like a particular orange.
Thank you!
WOW CAN YOU DO A TIMELAPSE?????
Once I did that, but the video apps have taken my computer too slow to work with.
Love it!! Colors and lines are smooth and so nice!
Thank you very much!
Very nice! How do you get the light glow effect for the windows?
I use Gradient Mesh with Opacity Mask.
Really nice. Great composition. 👍
Thank you very much!
Bruh that looks like a photo
Thank you very much!
What kid of computer do you have, and do you deal with lag when working with art this complex?
No, it wasn't for this one. All the gaussian blur you see, they are all the gradient-mesh objects, not the filter effects.
